There is a Christmas Lawn Mower Parade in our little town that reminded me of your parade, @superx . I have only seen the Jameson on green glass. I will be looking out for a taste from a clear glass bottle.

Eggs are about 50c each here, so almost double what they used to be, but making them into scotch eggs (wrapped in meat and breadcrumbs and deep fried) sounds worth it. Dont think ive ever had one before, sounds keto friendly if not healthy.

Tom grossi puts out some funny nfl content, he does live play by play of packers games so it's funny to see the roller coaster of emotions he has when something great or tragic happens.

It's probably a good idea in general to never eat anything made in a factory and delivered frozen to the grocery store, Buzz. Im guessing you dont really eat any frozen foods anymore, or have u found any that arent so heavily processed? No fair counting the venison ground beef you hunt yourself and freeze for storage.

Amazing career he's had, played more snaps than any other eagles player, 2 rings like TK said, and a critical strip sack of Brady in their first superbowl win. I wonder if he's going to stay around the area or move back home to Michigan.

Id like to see how davante and puka work together, should be an interesting combo for stafford to throw to. That first game vs Kupp in a hawks uniform will also be a trip, wonder if kupp will put up big #'s vs his old team.

Yoga pants and short jackets are always a nice fashion choice, bigsur.

Digiorno pizzas are alright but ive had so many of them in the past im kinda burnt out. Nowadays i prefer a generic thin crust like jacks or something like Home Run Inn with a butter/flaky crust.

The steelers want rodgers at QB but he's waiting on the vikings to say yes but the vikings are hesitant, they want the rookie they drafted last yr to be their franchise QB. What would u do in both teams' situation, Pops? I guess the steelers dont have much choice, who else do they want at QB? Run it back with Chef russ, who faded badly down the stretch last season?

qron must be loving all the attention he is getting (plus all the $$$$$$ his new contract will be) and basking in his former glory
both teams would be good landing spots for him but would he be whats best for those two teams?
min looked great last season and after the loss of darnold they need a new starter
but form what i saw it looked plug and play and maybe they should give the rookie a chance to to move up
pit also needs a starting qb and has no real talent to develop but this would be just a stop gap move on their part and cost them all the money
i would almost lean on chef here, especially if he is willing to play for a team friendly contract
plus he kind of knows the system and maybe he balls out this year
/hes not going to ball out this year, but at least put pit into the playoff pic? maybe

i havent heard much about devon* so far, but im sure him and $$tafford have talked
it will take some time for them to mesh but i could see some interesting formations coming from that duo
/and you know the boy genius (s.mcvey) loves to draw up crazy plays
we will see how sea plays this next year, it looks like a compete rebuild but with darnold and kupp im just going to wait and see

Well, Minnesota confirmed theyre going with the rookie, now 2nd yr player. I guess they wanted to make sure he was all the way recovered from his meniscus tear last preseason. The giants and steelers both want Rodgers, the steelers give him the best shot at the playoffs if he wants a shot at another ring. He'll turn 42 during the season (december) and only tom brady played well at that age, everyone else was kind of meh (testaverde, warren moon).

Davante is no spring chicken himself at 32yo but he hasnt been as injured as Kupp was the last few years, if he can take advantage of the opponent's 2nd best corner while puka plays against their #1 corner he should be productive.
The rams re signed Tutu atwell for 1 yr, 10M. For a guy who had 42 rec's for 562 yds (both career highs) and no TDs (career high was 3, in 2023), that seems like an overpay, no?

Buzz seems like he eats pretty healthy and gets a good amount of physical activity in despite the bad back. I imagine his cannabis is grown organically as well? Or are organic nutes overrated?

i like the bringing tutu back
he is kind of undersized but he knows the playbook and makes a great slot (#3) receiver
this is more a system move i think, esp with the loss of d.rob (demarcus.robinson) and it makes room for little whit' to play a more active role in the offense
i would almost say qron needs to go to nyg! that would be the most qron move to think he could flip flop
the thing is nyg has the #3 pick in the draft so why not at least try and trade up if you think this hot young qb c.ward is the truth
pit needs to press the restart button and just see where it goes from here

I think you take ur fandom wherever you go, Bigsur, that's why there's so many packers and steelers fans everywhere, cause they just couldnt wait to move out of WI and Pittsburgh.
But u make a good point, that local broadcasts will be mostly seahawks games, so ur going to be watching a lot of them in the future, they might have to become ur 2nd favorite team.

Is that the river that Bigsur goes panning for gold in? I hear gold hit 3K/oz for the 1st time, a few thick nuggets from that river will go nicely to building up the land.

Maybe when PW was a kid the Hawks werent that good, they were an expansion team in '76 and probably didnt have great local support till more recently, especially the pete carroll/legion of boom era.

Funny how this is almost exactly the same career path that brett favre took, going to the jets (for 1 yr while rodgers spent 2 yrs in NY) and then the vikings. He might get more media attention with the Giants but that O-line in front of him will not be conducive to his overall health, plus like u said the giants will look for a long term QB in the draft.

I think Favre retiring from the Jets, then un-retiring to join the vikings was like ur ex wife dating ur most hated enemy in the eyes of Packers fans. It's like Favre did that on purpose to hurt them.

If Rodgers truly wants to piss people off, he can wait till training camp begins to sign with a team. Favre didnt sign with minnesota will August.
