Haven't gotten high in 3 days. Friend of mom gave me $30 to pick up a year's worth of dog shit from his backyard...I did it. It was like that scene in Shawshank Redemption. Andy swam through a mile of shit. I got paid though. Picked up a whole garbage bag worth. Gave me $30. I then went down the street and bought a gram of 60% ice hash. High now. Hey guys.

You're welcome. How big of an area is wet on the ceiling? If the area is not too large patching a piece of drywall is not too difficult.

problem is the fan and lights. ill take a pic. its an old house. I dont even have a step ladder tall enough for me to reach.dont know how i can get up there and dry it.

hip drop tackles now banned?!
are things getting out of hand in the nfl with some of these rules? when are they just going to put flags on their waist or just play two hand touch
i understand the concern for players safety but some of these rule only befuddle the players about whats legal and let the rufs make more calls that could influence the outcome of the game
lets ban the fast ball in mlb, or fights in hockey
both these things can hurt or even KILL!
today was the last day of crb-strava-ganza at vons so i went and got about 3lbs worth
they also had these bakery kings hawaiian roll things so i got some of those and im planning on making some augrautin potaotes

i will have to go to the archives and dig up that issue, plus look at all the classic bush ladies!
so what are they going to do with all those monkeys at that lab?
it said something about medical research and looks like its in kind of a rural area
the people protesting it sounds like goof balls, the place is built like a prison
i figure if i just set them free in san diego i could help them get illegal status and they would get free bank cards, housing and marijuana from the state
a heck of a lot better than i give them
all of them except for bubbles! bubbles will always be mine

that sounds like a decent gig for you doob to land some quick cash and $30 should get you some bud and maybe a sandwich or something for lunch

You have no idea how panicked I am about sitting front row at the Red Sox game in a few weeks. Just thought about it. Kind of scared.

Hawk you fix that crap yet?

Rarely do NFL owners have a unanimous vote on rules. I am pretty sure that a recent event had an influence on that vote. Before it was called spearing it used to be called a legal hit.

so what are they going to do with all those monkeys at that lab?

Rhesus Macaques

Because of its relatively easy maintenance in captivity, wide availability, and anatomic and physiological proximity to humans, the rhesus macaque has been used extensively in medical and biological research on human and animal health-related topics and has given its name to the rhesus factor, one of the elements of a human blood group. The rhesus macaque is widely used as an NHP model to study infection and immunity because of the close genetic relationship with humans (93% average human-macaque sequence identity) and because of the homology between human and rhesus pathogen genomes. Rhesus macaques have been used to study fundamental aspects of immunology, including the development and maintenance of T-cell memory, immune dominance, and the aging immune system. There also have been many studies of immune responses in rhesus macaque models of human infections such as human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), influenza virus, tuberculosis, Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), cytomegalovirus, smallpox, measles, and severe acute respiratory syndrome [7]. Furthermore, rhesus macaques have been instrumental in designing and testing of vaccines against infections such as HIV and smallpox, in creating drugs to manage HIV/AIDS [7], and in understanding the female reproductive cycle and development of the embryo and the propagation of embryonic stem cells [8]. The genome of the rhesus macaque was cloned in 2007 [9]. Surprisingly, some normal gene sequences in healthy macaques cause profound disease in humans. For example, the normal sequence of phenylalanine hydroxylase in macaques is the mutated sequence responsible for phenylketonuria in humans. Some gene families are conserved or under evolutionary pressure and expansion in humans, macaques, and great apes such as chimpanzees (e.g., cholesterol pathways), whereas some are uniquely under expansion in humans, chimpanzees, or macaques (e.g., major histocompatibility genes are more abundant in macaques) [9]. The rhesus macaque was instrumental in understanding key features of reproduction. However, males and females are only fertile 4-5 months per year; seasonality is influenced by the geographic origin and is still observed after several years of being housed in a research colony in Western countries [10].

I do not want to be a research monkey when I grow up.

Yes, @pop_rocks , I have thought about using the pizza dough to make a 'bread'. I think 2 dough balls would make some kind of a loaf when given enough time to rise. Oven temp and cook time would be the figuring out part.

all of them except for bubbles! bubbles will always be mine
Bubbles has a favorite song. Fair warning.

Is this the first circus for you, @D. B. Doober ? You will be amazed.
Were you wearing shit kickers on that job? Did you wash your hands before breaking a chunk of ice hash?

Borrow a cane from someone before the front row seating, @D. B. Doober . Either for your Mom or you. If your Mom uses it make her walk slowly and you hover around her as you go to your seats. If you use it, bust out your acting chops and hobble to your seat. You can the guy next to you about the Coast Guard injury.
Have fun at the game, but there are two rules to follow.
1. Don't ask questions.
2. Don't make eye contact.

@shithawk420 , first thing is to reverse the direction of your ceiling fan so it is blowing upwards. Look for a little sliding switch on the hub below the fan blades and push it up. Use a stick or a broom handle to reach it. Turn it on high and let it run constantly to dry out the spot. From the looks of the ceiling it has been patched before. After at least 4-5 days of running the fan it is time to work on the water stain. You will need a ladder.

First, spray the water stained area with:
and let it dry.
Then use :
https://www.kilz.com/primer/kilz-upshot-aerosol to prime for ceiling paint and to help cover the stain. When the Kilz is dry it is ready to cover with ceiling paint. That is the simplest fix I can think of. Matching the existing white on the ceiling might show on the patch though.

Morning @buzzmobile @Bababooey @pop_rocks @shithawk420
I've got half a gram of the ice hash left. I'll go easy on it going further. No grizzly. Hoping Mom will get me a can. What's everyone up to? Easter this Sunday. Mom goes big, think I'm getting at least a fitted retro Washington Senators cap. Probably a lot more. Damn really need that tobacco. Hey someone gifted me some seeds - white widow among other strains. Pretty awesome. Just watching NBC today show...smoked ice hash listened to music for hour. Getting ready to go out on morning walk. High of 55 today. Been eating like crap...no food at all my choice been sick. Eat some good food for me. I'll be back in the high life Sunday or Wednesday

Picking up that much dog $hit when you dont own a dog is pretty gnarly, DB, but at least you got to get high for a day or 2.
I had to do something similar a couple years ago, picked up a bunch of old dry labrador turds, those things were big.

So because of the water you can see the seams between the drywall ceiling panels? You think he can dry it out, spray concobrium and then patch and paint it without replacing the panels? Good tip on reversing the ceiling fan to blast air up instead of down.

Just for the future, never walk away from running water if you can help it, or walk away for a minute at most, not 5-10-20 that's asking for trouble. If something slides down to block that drain youre going to get a flood and then it's game over. My sister's upstairs neighbor did that once to defrost some meat, ran cold water over it in the sink and the drain was blocked and water started raining down into my sister's kitchen from her light fixture.

I think rugby has had a rule like that, if you tackle someone from behind you cant also fall into their legs or pull them backwards. Like Buzz pointed out, some star players get seriously hurt like that, mark andrews the ravens TE hurt his ankle that way but was able to return for the playoffs.

I dont think DB has to pretend to be handicapped to sit in those seats, his mom is the one who's old and he's her helper. Is that right or no?

Tredavious white, the bills CB, signed a 1yr 8.5M contract with the rams yesterday. He tore his achilles a month into last season, he was elite a few years ago but injuries (acl tear in 2021) are starting to pile up. Still, it's a short term deal at less than half the going rate for a top CB (18-19M/yr) so if he's even above average it's a good deal for the rams. They traded jalen ramsey to the dolphins last year so i guess theyre trying to find a CB who can match up 1v1 on the opponent's best WR.

i bet your pizza dough would make a great bread buzz
even if you just roll them out into sticks, or even better make smaller "worms" (?) or dough and braid two of them together
brush with some gg wash or butter and seasonings and get them in the oven
im not sure about bake times but 350-375 for about 8 min might be a good place to start
im not a big fan of animal testing but for some things i guess its one of those necessary evils
they can simulate a lot of outcomes in the lab but intil its been tested on a living creature i would not think its safe for humans
i dont dig on a lot of the cosmetics being animal tested but im not going to try and cherry pick who can and who cant test
maybe if you were a test monkey you could work at a marijuana test lab where they experiment with the effects of various strains/ amounts of thc
im involved with a study at ucsd, where they send me questionnaires to fill out re: aging and the quality of life and pay like $30 just to fill out some forms
they have invited me to go to a sleep study once and if i wasnt working at the time i would have totally went
im sure it would mean no drinking or smoking for the night but it would have been interesting to see what it was all about
plus they give me $$

im not against rule to protect the players and like buzz pointed out its a dirty tackle
but ive noticed that the refs are getting more and more involved in the game
plus with all the betting going on in sports i wonder how much it would cost to have a raf in the pocket?
they recently busted a ncaa (?) plyer for taking himself out of a game where i think there was some kind of prop bet about how many points he would score
by leaving the game early he basically locked in the under

thats a good move for the rams and if the guy call ball out im sure he might get considered for an extension
the rams need to rebuild on D but still have some good young players in place
its time for mcvey and his staff to work some of their rookie magic

it would be fun go to the circus! i havent seen one of those since i was a kid if you dont count the cir du sole
thats rad doob! mlb is kicking off this thursday i think and it would be awesome to get to watch from the first row
white widow is a great strain and ive grown it out back in the day
how is your garden set up coming along?

Thanks buzz. i pretty much knew all this. i guess i was hoping for a second opinion that assures me i wont have to gut the ceiling cause id have to get a loan for that. Ididnt notice it before but my mom said the panels werent visible before the leak so that has me worried.

Sorry to bother you guys with this shit but its got me all worked up and the Tokers Den is dead so thought id ask you guys. I appreciate it

The seams and screws that show can all be fixed. Elastomeric patching compound would be the stuff I have used to patch cracks in my plaster ceiling. A plastic putty knife the same width as the container is all you need to apply the stuff.

It is not a bother, @shithawk420 . There are not too many repairs I have not had to do on this old house. If I was near to you I would be there with a ladder barking orders at you to 'Get it done' while holding the ladder for you. LOL It is not as bad as you think.

The big box stores rent ladders.

I'm older than your Mom if you need a stunt double. I can borrow MamaD's pink roses cane.
I would do that for you, @D. B. Doober . Just cuz.

@pop_rocks , I am not so sure about putting worms in my bread. Nothing against worms. Some of my best friends have been worms, but wormy bread does not tingle my taste buds. You did inspire me with another comment above. Brilliant!!!

Sounds easy enough.

Ya'll have a wonderful day. I'm going to the VA to show them my blood pressure readings for the past two weeks. They are going to be so proud.

That was jontay porter on the raptors, he had an eye injury a week before that was still bothering him but it wasnt listed on the latest injury report, and he left early in the game and all his unders (pts rebounds assists etc) hit, and before the game someone tried making unusually large bets on his unders, like 6 figures. I think the investigators dont think he had anything to do with it but maybe people close to him found out about his eye and made the bets without his knowledge, but we'll see what happens.

The rams promoted chris shula, grandson of Don, from LB coach to DC when raheem got the falcons head job. If they can continue to develop mid and low round draft picks on defense they'll be alright.

You think there's going to be mold behind those ceiling panels, Buzz? If there is, are u or ur mom sensitive to mold, hawk? If u think it's going to be a health problem then yeah, ur going to have to take down those panels. Maybe replace them later when you have the time and tools, but taking down the panels shouldnt be too hard with a screwdriver or drill and ladder or table to stand on.

Opening day is today, DB, im planning on following mlb more closely this year in hopes of laying down some bets on it. Whatchu think about the red sox chances?

Red Sox are looking like a average team this year no real big stars and no big pitching. Still my favorite team though.
Mets and dodgers should be doing well this year.
I can't log into MGM sports betting I have to send in my a copy of my driver's license or something but my phone number changed it's the pain in the ass

hahah i ve had moneky bread growing up
its actually really good
i meant more like brainding two pieces of dough together, but i dont know what you would call each individual segment; i guess worms is the wrong word
but it would be like braided bread sticks or you could just twist them into spirals
put a generous coat of egg wash nad butter to brown the tops up and it could be awesome
that sounds like a true friend holding the ladder for hawk @buzzmobile
sometimes it helps having someone there to direct the project and of course you can always hold my beer when shit gets sketchy!

im a fan of shula but raheem was a great dc and i wish him all the best in atl!
yeah that was it baba, i guess he was a pro ball player
yes, today is opening day and the pads have their first home game this afternoon
plus we get sdsu in the ncaa tourney later this evening
while i think of these as lesser sports its fun to watch the best collegiate basketball teams and they are going to have the pads on tv too
im not holding out much hope for state as they are playing a team that is favored (at least thats what my friend says) and that eliminated them last year
i guess ucon has this big white kid who can ball

i think doob is right about the dodgers being favored in the nl-w but the pads could have a small chance if they can win the close games
when are you and your mom going to the ball game?
next time we could get a box and i could escort ol' buzz, i will be the one with the dark sunglasses and the seeing eye dog!

Do you have cashapp, DB? I'll send u $20 for some noods. Can I post them here, maybe with the naughty bits blocked out?

That sounds like challah bread, twisting together two tubes of dough. Bonus points if they're different colors (one has rye flour to make it darker)

Yeah, Uconn beat SDSU for the championship last year so it's a rematch but I Uconn is favored by 11.5 so no ones giving the aztecs much of a chance. Aztecs is a great name for a team tho.
Uconn will have a couple players who are going to be top draft picks to the nba later this year but half of the top prospects actually play overseas (euro and australian leagues) or for the G-league Ignite team.
