hahah that bees video reminded me of my mom in her garden
she has bees flying all around her all the time and just dosent mind them and they dont mind her
the mrs is deathly allergic to bees so i have to take certain precautions with them when we go out
ive been stung a few times but nothing major, i dont mind bees that much, just dont want to mess with them
im not eating a racoon even if the f'n thing tasted like a chocolate cake
the first one bore the brunt of pops wrath but subsequent once were trapped and trucked away from the house and released
they look at properties all over the us and i dont even know if tx is their forever home
but it would be nice to own land and their idea os to build several homes on the land so we can all live there
im sleeping under sticks with a straw bed but at least i would have clean water and good people close by

I don't even remember how many classes it was baba but it was just kinda a scam to sell bee paraphernalia.we watched movies and took a few written tests.it was fun I guess.they gave us like 10% discounts on the bee suits and apiaries.the apiary was like $350 and i had to put it together.that was a fucking rip off.i could make one except id need to buy the supers.im not making those.the suits were like $150 plus the actual bees and mite medicine.its not exactly expensive but if your bees swarm you basically lost everything except if you order more bees.for whatever reason we didn't.i don't even know what happened to all that stuff.oh yeah I think we had a smoker too but I never used it.bees will literally not fuck with you 99% of the time.a smoker is a kinda like a bellow I guess.it don't look like one but you but leaves or pine needles and blast the bees with smoke.their instinct is that there's a fire and they go in God save the queen mode.they literally ball themselves around the queen and that's all they care about.never had to do it though

ive seen where the bee keepers use smokers to pacify the bees and you are right that a big old smoking brach would work too!

Queens can go for $20 to over $100.you can get bees plus the queen for around $150 usually. It was cool and all but I have no desire to do it again.not to many things worse than seeing your money fly away.and it can happen at any time with no warning.nobody knows why bees are swarming.some people think cell phones.yeah,cause the herbicides and pesticides don't have anything to do with it.we only took the classes cause my uncle got high and decided he wanted an apiary.i did all the fucking work.he didn't do a damn thing.by the way baba I took classes in Geneva.beutiful rich people town.interestingly or maybe not IL is huge when it comes to beekeeping in this country.possibly more than any other state.

I just made a quick tartar sauce out of mayo, sour cream and minced pickles with some S&P and garlic powder. Was alright. Your cholula and mayo recipe for a quick baja sauce sounds about right and really good for something whipped up in seconds, probably would have preferred that to tartar sauce.
I guess there’s different sizes of snow crab, this was the large ones for 10.lb on sale but still sucked to try to get meat out of em.

TX is a really large state, almost as big as Alaska I think and way more of it is habitable. I can see getting a big plot of land way out there, maybe in west TX, or next to BLM land like u said. I’d still need to be on the grid though, preferably, although with solar and generators maybe even that wouldn’t be absolutely necessary? Well for water, septic tank for drains, big propane tanks and wood for heat, satellite for internet and maybe TV, you could homestead pretty easily if you don’t mind living far away from shops and restaurants.
Id like to grow some cannabis along with a vegetable garden but TX looks dimly on that, if you never get caught no biggie but if you do youre looking at felonies in front of a pretty strict justice system in rural areas, im thinking.

Speaking of trapping raccoons, in Appalachia some people eat them. Those chunky bastards look like they have a decent amount of meat on them, probably pretty gamey though, if theyre anything like rabbit.

Honey is the original sugar, back before there was processed sugar. If you were a peasant in medieval times the only thing you ate that was really sweet was probably honey, only rich folks/lords had access to cane sugar. And it was probably the first alcoholic beverage, honey wine and meads are thousands of years old, back before people learned to turn grains into booze. And yeah, it supposedly has beneficial side effects, it’s also anti bacterial so people even use it on wounds I think.

Yeah Hawk, a can of good crabmeat would be around $20 for a lb of it, and you’d need the good stuff to make a quality crabcake.

Im not too fond of bees myself Pop even though ive only been stung once in my life, on the finger. But like hawk said, beekeepers can have bees swarm all over their skin, and lots do it without protection, like this girl:

Ive made brats and Italian sausages in an airfryer, never a burger. Like Pop asked, did it work out ok? They have these fully cooked frozen burgers at sams club, theyre like $5/lb but since theyre cooked they don’t shrink much after ‘cooking’ and are quicker and less messy too.

I heard new Mexico can be a cool place to live, the part near the Colorado border is pretty high altitude so not as desert like as most of the state. Looks like some kind of possum, Hawk, but could be some kind of raccoon or wombat like Pop said if the pic is from a foreign country. They have their own variations on American wild animals, kind of similar but could be very different looking.

Squirrels in the walls is tough problem, not sure what to do. Some sort of poisoned food you can lay out for them, like rat pellets? If you know exactly where they are could try to shoot or kill them somehow.

Ive heard of Geneva IL but never been there, it’s in kane county, had a coworker who lived out there. It’s also near st Charles, had another coworker who lived out there too. Seems like it’s one of those areas about an hour away from the city that people like to live in cause you can get a bigger house on a bigger piece of land without having to be a millionaire, if you don’t mind the commute (assuming you work in Chicago).

I think a norway rat is just a common brown rat, they also go by a bunch of different names, theyre everywhere of course not just Norway. I seen a rat in a Chicago alley that was almost the size of a cat, these things must be like King Rat in their little rat community.

Ok Six, I guess whoever wins the AFC, bengals or chiefs, you like both teams so win-win for you. The burgers actually cooked well...no grease and they retained their size - preformed pub burgers. No taste though, unfortunately.
I'm going with the Bengals. Went to Market Basket last night. $70 worth of good shit - Tostinos pizza rolls? Strawberry shortcake cup? Jimmy Dean biscuit sandwiches? Chocolate milk? Shrimp crackers!!! Buy them!!!!
I also take Trulicity now...it's supposed to make me lose weight. Yes bababooey the Haldol was making me bloated and like 75 pounds overweight in my stomach. WITH the hernia only 2 years before. The hernia scar is like right up the middle of my stomach and it's like a foot long. No pain thankfully. I still barf in the mornings often though...not sure if it's just reflex from when I was an alcoholic. 10 years sober now!
Changed my LL Bean trail pants yesterday for different color. That's like Xmas to yesterday...30 days and they didn't smell. Though, they gradually lost form but that's because I didn't tighten them. I take them off before bed.

Hmm, I hate a tasteless burger. Did salt and pepper help? Gotta have it seasoned. Some of these fancy burger spots around here don’t seem to season their patties, doesn’t make sense to me, they’ll even grind their own meat but wont throw some S&P on it after cooking? Crazy.

How are the pizza rolls? It’s been ages since I had one, remember them being pretty good though, little pockets of sauce and cheese in a soft chewy bread pillow. Don’t eat one when it’s blazing hot though, you’ll get a volcano burst of liquid cheese in your mouth.

Hopefully as the weight comes off your back and overall health will be better. Carrying an extra 75lbs is like carrying a child on your back 24/7, cant be fun.

That eagles-niners game was pretty disappointing, Hawk. Niners lost purdy on their 1st drive, their backup josh johnson didn’t play well and he was lost to injury too before halftime, forcing purdy back into the game where he almost never threw downfield. Eagles D is too good to just run against them 90% of the time and they lost by 20+. Well, next year they should have purdy and trey lance both healthy, but this year was just real bad luck for them.

Bengals-chiefs game was very close but mahomes scrambled and got hit late out of bounds and chiefs were able to hit a 45yd game winning FG with 3 secs left in the game. If not for that 15yd penalty it would have gone into OT. So it’ll be chiefs vs eagles in the superbowl, im leaning eagles again even though mahomes should be fully healthy in 2 weeks.

cant give an accurate review of the kratom cause i was already at least 12 beers in but im gonna take some now.this stuff is a royal pain in the ass.the powder gets fucking everywhere.got it all over my clothes everywhere.pisses me off.i mixed it in a cup with beer and i still got it eveywhere.but its just a small opioid affect depending on how much you take.it can calm you and it can give you energy.it even has lots of different strains like weed.i dont know much but i think it comes from SE asia.guess ill find out in a bit now that i can try it sober

I was kind of keeping one eye on the cincy game so I missed some plays but yeah, supposedly the refs missed a roughing the passer on burrow the drive before KC’s game winning drive. And then before that they replayed a 3rd down? And also some other missed calls I guess. Kind of disappointing to see such poor officiating in a huge, closely contested game like that. Kombucha is some sort of fermented mushroom tea. Is it supposed to have alcohol in it? I think it’s more for general health not to get high. I knew a guy who made his own, tried some of it, wasn’t that great, think it has a weird texture (kind of thick and slimy) from what I remember.

When he went out with a concussion, CMC was their emergency QB and they were going to fit him with a radio helmet so he could call plays but then purdy came back in.

Pops is right, kurt warner actually stocked shelves at a grocery store after getting cut by the packers in training camp, he did that for 6 mths before hooking on with the Arena league for 3 yrs, then an NFL Europe team under the st louis rams, then the rams as a 3rd stringer. Injuries happened and he blew up and the rest is history. And of course brady was a 6th rd pick, with 6 qb’s taken ahead of him in the draft. Tony romo and jake Delhomme were undrafted and developed into franchise QBs.
And it’s not uncommon for players who bounce from practice squad to practice squad to work menial jobs in between, uber driver, doordash etc, those are all easy jobs to work for a few months at a time in between nfl call ups, and have flexible schedules so you can still work out and train.

Sorry to hear you didn’t like air fried pizza rolls, DB. Is it the flavor or the air frying that made them suck? Maybe you should concentrate on things meant to be deep fried, not oven baked. Like Pop said, chicken tendies or nuggies would work, French fries (the shoe string ones u made looked good), maybe jalepeno poppers or breaded mushrooms? What about the breaded shrimp, you like seafood.

Yeah hawk that kratom powder looked very fine, like dust, so be careful when mixing it. Maybe if you have a blender that would work better, or a bottle to shake it in.

I thought the first Osbourne reality show was entertaining, but then again I didn’t really follow his music. I heard that he acted like a bumbling, confused dad on the show all the time because he’d rip huge bong loads in a back room away from the cameras and then come out and interact with the family. But I guess people were saying it’s all the hardcore drugs he did back in the day that fried his brain?

its made from this slime called scoby and they share that stuff like a truck stop whore
i know people who have kept scoby for over a year and make their own, like something you would make bread with
