Baker's an interesting situation, if he continues to play well under mcvay he might sign a backup deal with the rams after the season. With stafford getting older and more injured (maybe more prone to concussions and neck injuries, unfortunately), having a capable backup is important if the rams are contenders again. Plus it allows him to rehab his game and maybe become a starter somewhere else eventually, or even with the rams if stafford retires.

Patriots are one spot out of the 7th playoff spot, DB, so they still got a shot. But yeah, losing 2 heartbreaker games last minute like that, if they didnt screw up they'd be sitting pretty right now. Well, you can hope that in the offseason they demote matt patricia and get a real offensive coordinator. And who knows, maybe brady wont retire and comes back for a reunion next year? Haha, that'd be something.

Not sure what's going to happen to derek carr, the raiders are sitting him the next 2 games in order to keep him healthy for a possible trade, worse case they can cut him in the offseason with minimal cap hit so long as he's healthy (he's got injury guarantees so another reason to keep him out of games).

Yeah, AFC and NFC South divisions might have division winners that finish 7-9, and will host a playoff game with a wildcard team that's like 10-7. This happens every few years i guess and people complain that playoff seeding should be done without regard to divisions, not sure if that will ever happen though.

It's probably easy to make a copycat skyline chili, it's basically a greek-style meat sauce so there will be some cinnamon and other spices in there, and you have to add water or stock to make it a little thinner than most chili recipes.
Not sure why the cheesesteak was smushed like that, the woman got it and i dont think she would smush it on purpose. Overall was not impressed by jersey mikes at that price point.

The patriots offense is indeed hard to watch, mac jones doesn’t like the short passing game either, he’s been caught on camera yelling for more deep shots. I guess making soy or other veggie proteins into meat-like substances is a good way of getting meat eaters into the vegetarian or vegan lifestyle, Pop. I tried the Impossible whopper when it came out, it was pretty good, not too much different than real beef imo. I hear the next breakthrough will be real meat cultured in a lab, so no raising and killing animals for the real stuff anymore.

Guy could still become a decent passer but he’s very much developmental. If you do uber eats or something they usually have generous coupons for 1st time users, DB. Also I heard of this one guy who actually signed up as a delivery person on uber eats and pick up his own orders so he can get paid for doing so, not sure if that made financial sense though, his pay would have to exceed the extra cost these apps charge for the food.

Baker’s made about 35M in his 5 yrs in the league, I guess the browns declined his 5th yr option (would have been worth 20 some million?) so he’s ‘only’ making 5M this year. Im guessing the rams could offer him 5M/yr to be their primary backup, unless some other team jumps in with more money and/or a starting job I could see him staying with mcvay.
Baker didn’t perform so well today but akers had another 100yd game, chargers have a poor run D but he’s looking like he could be a top 10 RB next year. With kupp and Stafford back, a decent line, defense healthy, should easily be a 10 win team.

Im not a big soy or veggie protein guy but I like tofu well enough, and ur right if you fry it enough it has a meat like texture (chewy), especially if you use savory sauces like oyster and soy sauce. But I guess oyster sauce wouldn’t make it vegetarian, unless youre pescatarian.

Ive heard of that, doing separate containers for all the chipotle ingredients hack but I think they cut that from the app or limited it a lot because people were doing it too much. I actually make my own guac at home if I get chipotle to go. For $1.50 I can make a bowl of my own guac, not pay 2.50 for a scoop of theirs. I usually get the burrito bowl and extra tortillas on the side, take it home and with your own guac and meat (usually rotisserie chicken) you can effectively make 2 burritos or 6 tacos, enough for 2 people.

I hope Hawk got his drink on for New Years, and yeah I hope 2023 is a good year for everyone. Onward and upward and all that jazz.

Im guessing teams do some sort of background check when hiring a head coach, but gruden's emails when he was doing monday night football, not sure how an investigator would have found those out without a subpoena or something like that. When matt patricia was hired by the lions, they didnt find out he was charged but not convicted with sex assault while a college student in TX.
I agree i think it was all overblown with gruden and his emails, he said things that werent politically correct but im not sure you can be a football coach and be racist, more than half the players and a good amount of coaches are black. I think raider nation is excited at the prospect of stidham replacing carr, ur right he looked way better than carr did most of the season. He threw 2 picks but one was a tipped ball and the other a lineman got pushed into him, causing his throw to be short. Still, small sample size and once teams get tape on him we'll see how he does.

Kyler murray didnt justify his 48M/yr deal this year, the whole offense was stinky most of the year and thats going to get kliff fired. But when he's on, kyler is an mvp candidate, his rushing and throwing ranks up there with lamar jackson, except with a better arm. But yeah, his size is always a concern, he hasnt had one year where he's been healthy all season it seems like.
