yeah man, migraines suck; i had a girl friend who had them when i was younger and we would be driving through the woods and the shadow/ lights form the trees would set her off
she would close her eyes and hold her head and then have to sit in a dark room for the rest of the day sometimes
/she would not try weed and i dont even know if weed would have helped but i wanted to try and do something for her, she was in so much pain
the shop thing was ok and it was fun to hear some of the taeks! but half the time they werent even talking bout the game
i kind of like lebron too even thoe im not a fan of b'ball
it might be a little early to throw zack into that bunch but i wasnt exactly impressed by what i saw fro thsi past weeknd
hes at that point where he gets it or he dosent and we will see how the rest of his season plays out
this patriots win might give them the edge at the end of the season when looking to get into the playoffs
as it stands right now i think the pawts would be in because of the head to head record with the jets
the rams are looking at a major rebuild here and we will see how they play out the rest of the season, i dont have much hope left in this lineup and can only look forward to what is to come

what happened to dooabh?!
let go for a ride:

as promised here is a pic of part of the trail we walked
cobbles.jpg

the pic dosent do the trail justice, but you can look at the hill on the other side to get a sence of the grade you are going down
/what you dont see are all the rich people and their sweet sweet monies!
also, they have put in some bricks because when we used to ride this trail i was not bricks, it was just loose rocky ground
i still see fresh bike tire tracks so i hope some guy is flowing this sh daily!

Yeesh, cluster migraines sound like something you wouldn’t wish on your worst enemy. Well, maybe, depends on what they did, haha.

There’s a running joke going on with lebron that he’s bought into where he says he talked to someone or was with someone right before some big trend or big event happened. Not sure how it started but at one point during the TNF game a packers player did the Lambeau leap into the stands and lebron pointed and said I talked to Leroy butler (packers safety who started it in 1993) the day before that game. Of course he was joking he would have been like 8 years old or something but everyone laughed.

U have a point, zach wilson’s worst games came against the patriots, and belichick has a way of making subpar AFC east QBs look worse than they really are. And it’s not like the patriots were that successful on offense either, they scored the same amount of pts (3) as the jets before the special teams TD. It was pretty windy that day (gusts of almost 40mph) so passing and kicking were affected a lot.

I have cooper in my IR spot for now but earliest he can come back is week 16 vs the broncos who have a stout defense, plus he’d likely be on a snap count when he comes back, so ill probably drop him if one of my other players needs that spot.

That looks like a pretty sweet trail, not too uneven, dry, clear of brush. How long of a walk did you go on, a mile or three? I figure 1-3 miles would be light work for you guys.

so i was talking to another friend and he mentioned legacy league where if you are carying a guy on your roster at the end of this season you have first dibs on him bext seasonn; is this right or is pops smoking too much grease?
i told him copp might not be so soop, even next year and if he had hotter taeks it might be a wiser move to think about moving on
/his taeks are always red haaaawwtttt!
~rams are in a world of sux and its only going to get worse
well i dont see why this kid could not throw ball good in those conditions?! wtf=not elitel!
im not saying he can ball but the jets have a decent record when no one thought they would be sh and even if they can wild card that would be sweet candy for ny fans
yeah the trail is a lot nicer than what i remmeber
they burmed it up really sweet and i bet you could fly dow this on a bike, it was steep
someone has been doing work on this trail

i thnk the hike was more in the 3-5 range, it was a mile just to get in and then a few miles walking and another mile to get out or so
im just walking at one point and its all left foot right foot
i did see some cool lizards on the trail and i could smell all the money in hte air!

That sounds like a dynasty league, where you can carry over players from one year to the next. That’s opposed to a redraft league, where every team has to draft a brand new roster.
I havent played in a dynasty league yet but I think the general rule is that you get to keep a player next year at the cost of the draft pick you paid for him last year. So in dynasty leagues you still do a draft but say you drafted cooper kupp 2 years ago in the 4th round, before he had his blowup season, then you could keep him the next year but give up your 4th rd pick. And every year after you can keep him but have to give up a pick that’s one higher round, so this past year you would have given up a 3rd rd pick to keep him (still well worth it).

Kupp is still going to be a top 10 fantasy pick next year, even when the rams offense was doo doo he was still getting stats, and the rams SHOULD be better next year if only because of improved health – it’s hard to be so injured 2 years in a row, regression to the mean and all that...

The jets actually had a functional offense with their star RB, rookie Breece hall, carrying the load but he tore his acl a few weeks ago and zach Wilson is like the last QB in the league you’d want to carry your offense. Too bad cause he’s got some talented WR’s, garrett Wilson and Elijah moore, even corey davis (remember him from the titans?) is a good WR3.

Ah yeah, I was thinking that was a smooth looking trail, a mountain bike could take it easily. Do you do a lot of biking on trails? I don’t recall you saying you do but ur outdoors constantly, seems like you would own a bike.

How much are the houses around the trail, 1-2M each? You see any milfs on the trail dressed up in designer workout clothes? My one friend who moved from socal to nocal says that’s one thing he misses, all the good looking milfs. They really take care of themselves in socal…

me and the mrs used to ride like demons and still hit the trails from time to time
the most fun was to ride at night, we had sweet lights on the bike and helmet and it was a lot less crowded plus you see a lot more cool stuff in the dark

those are prob like 3-4m$houses, they are in a prime location and have great views on the nature preserve, plus are huge!
hahah we did come across a few hottie$! on the walk
each had a nice small dog and they were dressed in nice clothes
the mrs talks their language and she brings them in
thanks for breaking that down for me, now i know some of the lingo and iwill ask him about it next time we talk
that is a sweet deal if you could pick up cooper on the cheap and i will ask when he drafted him; i just dont know if the rams are going to be ramming it too hard with all the holes they have on offense
im not going to comment too much on the rams future, but i dotn see them doing much for the next couple years; we only need to rebuild a non existent o'line and get some kind of run game going in addition to a possible hole at qb in the next few years
at least we have the D
whos getting in shape for tomorrows feasting!
enjoy every bite!

Trail riding seems like a great way to get some fresh air and a workout in, night riding sounds even more fun so long as it's safe. Im guessing you dont hit trails where there's a realistic chance of you hitting a ditch or something and flipping you off your bike.

3-4M for a house is a hefty price tag, even your avg successful lawyer or doctor would be hard pressed to afford one of those. Are they on big plots of land, like a few acres each? If i paid that much for a house and it faces a nature preserve i'd want some privacy from my neighbors, like hawk does on the farm.

In 2020 cooper had 950yds and 3tds with goof, he started off well enough but the last 8 games of 2020 he only had 350yds and 1 td. Everyone knew he'd be better with stafford in 2021 but he was still like a 4-5th rd pick on average.

Youve got stafford and kupp on O, and like u said a pretty stout D, so i think a turnaround can happen very quickly. Reminds me of the vikings when they had some absolutely putrid O-lines 10-12 years ago, in one preseason 'experts' were saying they now have 4/5 new Off linemen and that's not good and im like yes it is did you see what they had last year? And actually that new OL performed at an avg rate which was miles better than before.

Stafford is in the concussion protocol but word is the problem is more with his neck than his brain and rumor is they may shut him down the rest of the year. I'm sure his wife would like that, must be rough to watch her husband get slammed to the ground every 5 mins.

Bryce perkins was getting 1st team reps in practice (wolford is hurt too) and will start vs the chiefs. Maybe with his mobility he can make things happen, pick up 1st downs scrambling when needed, and still pass enough to keep the defense honest. That's all you can hope for at this point.

Hippy i used to make deviled eggs for thanksgiving too, got the idea from a buddy of mine whose family always made them for the holidays. Makes a nice little hor-deurve before the big meal, enough protein to keep you from starving but no carbs to fill you up. I havent made any in a long time though.

I brined a turkey (about 20lbs?) and am going to smoke it. Hopefully it's tender and juicy when done. For sides just keep it basic, mac n cheese, stove top stuffing, sweet potatoes and maybe some mashed potatoes (instant or real, not sure). Also hawaiian sweet rolls for bread and costco pumpkin pie with cool whip topping for dessert.

thats the one thing i forget, those kings hawaiian breads! i was thinking of going to the store for that this morning, and maybe some banana cream pie! but got into the drinking... so yeah pops is grounded
that turkey looks nice and if you brined it it should be full of flavor!
depending on your temps smoking that thing might take some time; i might wrap that bird for the first hour or so, and not go low and slow
20# is a fat bird and if it was a beef brisket i would have started that last night
man,1mac and cheese, stuffing, taters?! all that sounds supah grindin and make me a plate baba!
/i might be out that way soon here
thats funny about the eggs because i remember growing up and having eggs at fancy meals
/it gets extra fancy when you sprinkle paprika on them!
i love the things and could eat all the eggs
/pops could not eat 50 eggs
like ive been saying, my confidence level in the rams is lear zero right now and i dont like what i see on the horizon
they have some great pieces but can they maintain their edge and play like champs?
NO
they are going to have to reu build the team and on offense it loos like a tear down on the o'line
fatty stafford might stick around but until he has some blocking and a run game the rams O is going nowhere
so in this gravy drunk frenzy i forgot all about todays games!
bills v det! i will watch
get right game for the bills and i hope the bills mafia storms j.goofs thanksgiving dinner and breaks all their table!
dem boys, i gotta ride with them
ny is dark horse but the c'boys are for real
am i even going to be conscious for tonights pawts game
where the f are you at doobah?! you better not be hiding out under the table beggin up the scrapps!

ijust want to mention i am thankful for you f'n goons! you guys dont suck

pops is done eating for the day! no mas, im tapping out
/maybe some more cranberry crumble later but thats later

dem'boys look fo'reals and if they can pick up obj, they are going to be in good shape
if you put enough paprika on something it can get spicy, but for the most part its just to give it this sprinkle of red for that festive look

Lions were on a 3 game win streak and then lost a close one to the bills, had it tied up with 30 secs left but josh allen threw a deep pass and got the bills into FG range in just a few plays along with his timeouts for a game winning short FG. Excellent game management at the end, most teams wish they had such good coaching.

Goof isn’t great but it’s the lions defense that’s been playing pretty pretty good lately, got a couple rookies (Hutchinson at DE, kerby joseph at safety) that look like foundational draft picks.

The cowboys have the league’s best pass rush, I think all of the D-lineman in their rotation average a 10% pressure rate or better, led by micah parsons who’s probably the Def POTY this season. Theyre a top 3 team in the NFC, along with the eagles and niners.

Paprika is a very mild spice, Hippy, very little heat at all. I do taste it when on deviled eggs but ur right, it’s flavor tends to be drowned out by stronger tasting spices.

The turkey ended up very tender but drier than I thought, the fire went out in my cooker and had to finish it in the oven. Wont make that mistake again, will be sure to build up the fire better next time.
Made some stove top stuffing, had some rice pilaf from earlier (it was starting to go bad so not that good), rolls with butter on the side, cranberry sauce (with orange zest, made it tangier than I liked next time I'll halve the orange zest) and gravy from the turkey drippings (added butter and flour and S&P), all in all not a bad meal and was super stuffed afterwards. Much later on had pumpkin pie with whipped cream but even took a while to eat that, most of the whip cream had melted by then lol.

thats one of my favorites hippy! and most people would not consider it a thanksgiving song, but its a song about giving thanks, so i decided to post it on thanksgiving
i lvoe all music and there is nothing like the classics
so we are heading out the the desert this weekend
lions bills was a lot closer than i expected
i agree 100% that the dallas d is on fire right now and parsons is the a monster on defense!
/they were saying how that was his 8th (?) two sack game this season
add in dak being back, and the combo of pollard and zeke...oh wait, they have receivers too?!
/and they might be getting obj?1
yeeeeehawww y'all dem boys are smoking like a beef bbq! im over the white meat
/takes look at babas spread... rub chin
that looks awesome baba! did the bird pick up much of the smoke flavor?
the mrs went all in too and made home made cranberry sauce!! its a whole nuther level of good and i am on board when it comes to that and adding some citrus zest is a good move
/when the berries pop it makes pops mouth water!
the rice and stuffing look good together! i would mix them all together and smother them in gravy!
wait what, im already stuffed and still thinking about food!
sometimes you just go with the flow

Yeah Pops has really been on point with his music choices. Do you listen to most of your music on YT, Pops? I figure if you use the internet for music it’d be spotify or something like that.

Ceedee lamb is a top 10 WR this season, without amari cooper there he’s dak’s #1 target and is proving worthy of the role. Im not sure what OBJ will bring to the table when he does sign with a team, he’ll start off on a snap count in Dec to slowly build his way back to a full workload for the playoffs. He was money for the rams last playoffs so maybe he’s like an emergency device: “Break glass in case of playoffs”.

Im normally not a fan of cranberry sauce on turkey, usually much prefer gravy or even bbq sauce (if I want something sweet) with turkey but it made a nice accompaniment, added a little bit of sweet to the salty and savory plate. Plus I think we can use it as jam for toast and stuff afterwards since we have so much of it.

The bird did pick up a lot of smoke flavor, so that was nice. Overall I’ll probably do this turkey recipe again for Christmas, may even do it during outside of the winter holidays, turkey is a pretty versatile food like u said, can use it for sandwiches and such.

Bears-jets game has jets favored by 6pts even with zach Wilson benched, I think I’d take the bears if justin fields plays but he’s still questionable with a non-throwing shoulder injury.

Chiefs are favored by 15 over the rams, that’s a huge line and normally I’d take the under but with Bryce perkins making his first start I took the chiefs, rams D is good but they don’t get a lot of turnovers and without a functional O theyre going to be hard-pressed to hold KC under 30.

i have pandora on my phone but i just wake up with different songs in my head sometimes and plug those into youtube
a lot of it just comes to me as part of the theme and its fun to listen to cool sounds
sometimes i go down rabbit hole and that just leads to more music
even if the rams D can hold the chiefs under 30, i think they still cover the spread
rams might be good for afield goal or two, maybe some garbage time touch down but i dont see them turning things up against the chiefs
they will do their best on d to get after mahommie but he is going to put up points, plus the rest of the chiefs offense...
luckily i will be in the middle of nowhere where no one will hear me crying
cd.lamb was going off the other day making sweet one handed grabs and just playing like a big time receiver! obj would create that mismatch that has qbs going bonkers and puttin up big yards
you are right about how obj would be a situational thing for the most part because he prob cant play a whole season
but if you your team in a contender and could use a power up this is the time to pick one up
the truck is all packed and im ready to go
cranberry sauce is one of those things i dont think about outside of the holidays but its actually really good!
it pairs great with a lot of different dishes plus i guess its super healthy!
smoked bird is good any time of the year and you can make a lot of things with the left overs
i like turkey salad, just like chicken salad but with turkey and the other year i took most of the left overs, stuffing, turkey and taters and rolled it into balls and coated them with bread crumbs
i have never put bbq sauce on my turkey but it sounds super good! do you have a favorite sauce you like to use?
where is hawk and doobah?
