Went grocery shopping today, got a lot of stuff. Baba you said you don't like those frozen Tina's burittos but I had 2. 1 min in the microwave. Pops the bears game ? Yeah Pop, Rams were looking good in the first half vs the niners, went into halftime with a 14-10 lead, then got outscored 21-0 in the 2nd half to lose by 3 scores. Stafford didnt have any turnovers but was held under 200yds passing and the team to like 60 yds rushing. I think by some metrics they have a bottom 5 offense this year, which is shocking considering the talent and coaching. But this is what having a terrible O-line does. Like john madden said, too many side dishes, not enough meat and potatoes.

I might have to try a microwave burrito again, DB, you make them sound better than i remember. They are super convenient, ill give you that. But when i used to eat a lot of frozen food, it was a lot of frozen pizzas. You like the frozen pizzas or no?

Mac jones did not look good but got the win. He threw an int and had a fumble (that was recovered by his team), also had another int returned for a TD that was called off for roughing the passer. Im thinking zappe is definitely going to play again this season, like every other coach belichick loves wins but cant stand turnovers.

Theres a lot of stories about how last year's rookie Qbs are doing poorly this year. Trevor lawrence, the 'generational prospect', has spotty accuracy and decision-making (his supposed strengths during draft evaluations), threw a pick against the broncos yesterday to end any chance of a comeback. Zach wilson threw 3 ints vs the pats yesterday, most of them the 'WTF' variety; the only time the jets win is when he throws like 15x a game. Trey lance is hurt and didnt look great when he did play. Mac jones looked the best during his rookie season (led the pats to the playoffs) but seemingly regressed this year. And funny enough justin fields looks the best recently but the first month of the season (and most of last year) didnt look like he could pass at even a backup QB level. So just goes to show that despite the recent successes of some young Qbs (lamar, josh, mahomes, justin herbert, jalen hurts) that the position is still more misses than hits. Although to be fair, it's still very early in their career. Tua looks great now when he didnt look good his first 2 years, geno smith is somehow pretty dang good after being backup material his first 8 (!) yrs in the league. So, there's always hope...

the rams gor exposed yesterday against the 9ers in a big way, stafford has no time in the pocket and they cant get it done on the ground
the defense can only do so much for you. but when your average rush is for negative yeards its worse than the waste of a down
runcmc played great and i just epxect him to bloom in the 9ers offense
the sophomore slump is a real thing for a lot of players but i think this years qb game is kind of weird in some ways
its not just the kids who arent all right, look at some of the top talent having problems?

Nah baba.i learned to cook on my own out of necessity.im not gonna lie.i used to watch Rachel Ray back before she was mega famous.i still watch cooking shows.its funny you mentioned cooks drinking.ive never worked professionally but we were in Chicago at a bar at a 5 star hotel bar and grill just passing the the time.only 10 bucks between us.so I got a limited goose island beer.best beer I ever had.anyway one of the cooks is bringing his glass and filling it every 5 minutes and chugging it.all top dollar micro brew.im like DAMN! I want this guys job! It was cool.i can't remember where it was but it was cool.nice people etc.people can say whatever they want about Chicago.i still love it.yeah it sucks now cause of the thugs but it's still my kinda town.

when i take my time, i do. get in a hurry and the onions & peppers are still too crunchy and flavor is NEVER right...when all else fails, turn the heat down, fix something to drink & smoke, and go the fuck away for a while. pet a cat, walk a dog...

I like your style.i made some Tuscan soup yesterday at my dad's watching the game but he's got like 20 cats and a couple of my dogs.its a pain in the ass cause they are always in my way.i HATE cat hair in my food! Yeah, Rodgers and Brady and stafford have so far had rough seasons by their usual standards. Derek carr is having a terrible time with mcdaniels coaching the raiders.
My top 5 list so far would be Josh allen, mahomes, jalen hurts, tua, and burrow. Although burrow got shut down last night by the browns, his line couldnt protect him at all, so maybe put in Lamar for burrow. I'll mention geno smith, justin herbert and kirk cousins as outside the top 5.

Tuscan soup has a lot of beans and veggies, Hawk? I think the woman would like that, she likes soups in general and with the beans seems like it would be very filling. And it has pasta noodles in it too from what i remember having it at olive garden years ago. Usually when i make soup it's split pea soup with ham or navy bean soup with ham.
Ive seen Rachael ray's cooking show back in the day, ur right you can learn a lot about cooking from these shows. She was a hot little number back in the day too, she got bigger as she got older but i think she recently lost a lot of weight. You ever watch Pioneer woman? She lives on a ranch or farm or something and does a lot of recipes centered around that lifestyle.
Man, if i had access to a full bar with beer taps im sure i'd do the same, just start chugging beers regularly. Maybe it's a good thing you didnt get that job at your relative's gastropub. I feel though you'd make a good bartender as well as a good cook. Y'know, make a nice apple martini for the yuppie customer, then chug the leftovers in the shaker when no one's looking...
Is it bacardi 151 youre drinking? That stuff you can set on fire for desserts and such. I once took a shot of everclear (195 proof) and my throat burned for a day, ugh.
The tostada looks on point, is that cilantro I see? And that pork loin made with onions and soda sounds delish, perfect combo of sweet and savory.

DB, you live in one of the biggest cities in the country and you have to order heineken 0 online? Maybe bostonians dont tolerate non alcoholic beer so it's hard to find there. I'm with Hawk, that stuff is a travesty, zero reason it should exist.
I guess not using the oven or stove is a good thing if youre worried about forgetting stuff while cooking. Ive done that once or twice, left something on when i shouldnt have.

Hippy, you saw a car chase with 7 shots fired and it didnt make the papers? There must be a story behind that. Maybe in the more rural areas things run on the “good 'ol boy” network so it's easier for law enforcement to keep things out of the papers.
