Newb going for a top yield grow 1st time

Hello to all here and the vast knowledge here is excellent on the subject!

Well as the title tells it, I have sifted through the threads here but cannot get the straight answers i am looking for.
I am looking at using this system, I will copy and paste the write up here

" For the dedicated gardener

Including four 600 Watt Adjusta-Shade Hobby grow lights and the astounding 36 Pot IWS System, this complete grow kit is designed for ultimate yields. There's also a full RVK extraction/filtration system along with Vita Link nutrients, nutrient and measuring tools, propagation equipment and much, much more. We recommend a minimum growing area of around 3m x 3m (10' x 10') for the 36 Pot IWS Kit although additional room for growth would be preferable.

The 36 Pot IWS Kit includes 4 x 600 Watt Adjusta-Shade Hobby Lighting Systems, 4 pairs of Ezi-Roll Light Hangers, an Eco-Technics Four Light Timer Contactor, a Grasslin Mechanical Timer, the 36 Pot IWS Flood System, an RVK200A1 Extractor Fan & Bracket, 4 metres of lead complete with 13 amp plug, a CF800 Carbon Filter, a 200mm (8 inch) Fast Clamp, 2 x 200mm (8 inch) Quick Release Duct Clip, 4 metres of 200mm (8 inch) Aluminium Ducting, 4 metres of Jack Chain, 4 x S Hooks, Vita Link Max Nutrients (10 litres of Grow and Bloom), Vita Link Bio-Plus (250mls), 20 metres of Total Blackout Sheeting, 50m roll of Gaffa Duct Tape, 8 x 50 litres of Hydroton Clay Pebbles, 72 x 7.5cm (3 inch) Grodan Transplanting Cubes, 77 x Grodan Large Cuttings Seed Cubes, pH Down (250mls), a Hobby pH Meter, a Bluelab (NZH) Nutrient (cF) Truncheon, 2 x 60ml Measuring Cup, a 500ml Measuring Jug, 2 x Pipette, pH7 Calibration Solution (250mls), 50ml Clonex, a Cloning Scalpel and a Large Unheated Propagator. So My main questions are, should i get more lights for more yield? This system comes with 4 600w should I add another 4?

I need to be as stealth as possible should I add another carbon filter?

Any tips on nutrients you have used that do a good job? I will be growing in the UK.

I have so many questions really but if no one gets pissed off with me asking in this thread I will ask as i can think and when i start the grow, I need to leave as little mess as possible ie thats why i dont really want to grow in soil, i will not be able to dump it when finished.

Absolutely any advice will be usefull,
thanks for a great community,
And if the BBC ask NO I DONT WANT TO BE IN YOUR DOCUMENTARY

well...you are very ambitious indeed. not that this is bad. 10X10 area for 36 buckets?
not enough space ime. are you planning on cloning into all those buckets? you may want to stagger your buckets for a perpetual harvest, which will give you time to start clones.
you certainly will have questions along the way. be safe, g'luck!

Do you think if I halve the amount of pots and use more lights I could get the same yield? I am confused on the yield to plants, i keep reading the gram per watt, so i could have 20 plants say and get the same yield as 36 odd in same area of space?
Like i said any advice welcome ,
I will be getting the clones all at the same time.

Also how often would you set the timer on this to water them? i guessing obviously they ned more water as they get bigger but how would i calculate that?
Is anyone familiar with this system?

for that ammount of light and that ammount of cash you could purchase stuff from several different sites and save a ton more of cash.....and for a newbie seriously you can run into complete failure running hydro without knowing how to grow first hand.....imo i would just order a 600w light and supplies(as most can be used if you upgrade) and see how you go from there...dont want you having a 36 plant 2400w grow go to complete shit because you did not know what you was in for that is a TON of work...good luck...but seriously i woulnd spend that cash for a system search for the cheapest price by shit by the lot like say cheapest place for lights use them cheapest place for the hydro kit u want use them...ect...good luck

too much too soon. thinking about top yield before you've grown the plants.

as advised above, start smaller. better to grow a few good plants in dirt under one light than to completely mess up growing too many plants under too many lights with a complicated system.

Just cuz you spend 4 grand dosnt mean you'll grow anything>As already stated start on a smaller scale and learn the basics.

As someone else posted You can do a lot better for alot less half the crap there selling you probably wont get used or wont work in your room without a fewtrips to the hardware store.

Stealth thats a good one with 5200 watts, before even thinking carbon scrubber I would be thinking electrical, and cooling ,humidity ,ventilation etc..

Stealth thats a good one with 5200 watts
 you literally had me laughing my ass off with that 1. Stealth was so hard to pull off with my 400w system.
I would start with 9 plants under a 600 you can still pull a pound of primo weed if you do well. There is way to much work involved with a system that large to have time to learn the basics like reading you plants.

seems like this dude just wants to make fast cash but its just not possible if its not grown correct people will rather go to someone else anyways cuz it looks like poopy weed.....i really would learn thy plant first and see what works and what doesnt work....i really would suggest you just buy 1 600w light and a 4footx4foot grow tent and get a nice fan, carbon filter and go with soil and maybe make a small DWC bucket to test hydro....and when you upgrade you can use same system for clones, moms, vegging ect to keep a perpetual grow....i STRONGLY suggest you dont start huge...most very very good growers probably started growing in thier closets with a fluro lamp and doing every thing wrong but hey most of us started out that way now do i suggest that no.....just absorb all the info given here and you should have success.....

well he is Alfie Moon ....lol Only in it for a fast buck to keep Kat Slater stocked up with Fake Bake.. pmsl

Ok Can see you dont have much faith,
I have friends doing bigger operations but using soil, i cannot go for soil as to much mess, they started straight in the 50 plant mark.
Why start with 1 plant and waste all that time and risk when you may as well go the full shabang?
Ok seems my ask for advice on equipment and growing is wasted, i understand what some are saying but i am only interested as above post mentions i gotta keep kat slater in make up.

Could you be so kind as to advise where to purchase this equipment please.

your yield is slightly higher with faster veg growth hydro, but its all really guessing till you grow that strain and specific feno. if you get clones from friends you can get an idea by what they yield or try doing a search on here for a certain strain in your area or from certain seed company that you have or plan to buy. In my opinion hydro is kinda difficult until you learn the basic principles I'd try running 6 dwc bucket under t5s for early veg /2 600w hps for slight veg and flower. If you lst/ top and train your plants you could pull a pound or two with that for the first go round. for your first try a hydro there are a shit load of newb mistakes/problems you will run into. because the faster growth problems with temps, nutes, PH, PPM, etc. are exacerbated much faster then soil.

Thanks Mr drama, I can learn something from your reply,
Cheers, It I have grown from a hydro system around 16 years ago but then it was basic stuff, I guessing theres not much more to it these days but i will cause myself damas with getting rid of the soil and getting it in/changing it etc. Location is quite public.
Cheers

one big question I have is the lighting, would i get the same yield off 10 plants as 20 plants if i had the same lighting? I.e is it gramm per watt PER plant or gramm per watt.

IF you have friends who can help you with lots of grow experience and you like their quality and yield...just listen to them, involve them, you'll be FAR better off than going in blindly with "internet help".

Otherwise...I'm going to pile on and tell you you're running a marathon before you can walk. Take it slow. Actually grow a plant from seed before you spend a lot of money. Work out the kinks with something cheap/free.

That's my suggestion...

That is good advice ... get a feel for a few plants before splashing big cash on what could be a total failure ... good luck Alfie

p.s tell Kat Slater to shut up she shouts too loud ....lol

I agree too much too soon. You will find that you will need to radically change/ move things around once you learn what works and what doesn't. So don't spend 10k getting all setup only to find out it doesn't work. Start small and work up

while i agree with most views here, fuck it, go for it dude. if you have that kinda cash and a basic knowledge plus these forums. you will have some good yields. its always a learning process and you adapt as you go adding here or there, taking some things away. thats plenty of light also. if i had to add something to this, it would be a small system for clones and veg seedlings - large t5 . stagger the 600 watts into sections along with the pots for rotation as some flower sooner than others. easier to get to the plants and shit too. i like ot be able to get into all areas of my garden
