It is hard for one guy, one company to make a dent in the cannabis growing in Colombia. Many grows are in places that are quite remote and isolated from the rest of the country. I can assure you there are large expanses of land already growing European genetics with and without the cartels, and that is another thing, there are several families operating all over the country. Colombia is a country that is made up of lots of small families and then there are the larger families. Arjan's impact on cannabis in Colombia is like an eye dropper to the sea. But ideally, he would displace all the Colombian genetics with European and then be the only source for the old genetics. A good financial plan, but only a small gesture because of what I already said. His gesture does more harm to his image than anything good that could possibly come from it. I really believe Arjan is more lucky to be where he is at than smart to be where he is at.

Txuck's Colomibian pics are proof of untouched genetics, If those aren't pure sativas then nothing is!. Someone needs to make a trip to and make a documentary in SE asia, especially Loas and Cambodia because they have had the least amount of external influence on their genetics member and ace breeder Dubi says.

DNA,GHSC,G13 and world of seeds are pre school level in cannabis.
Ace,Cannabiogen,Tropical,Mr nice,Astur jaya, and Bodhi etc. are equivalent to a bachelor or master degrees in the cannabis field. Il choose the masters and leave the pre school level genetics to the uninformed. I will always steer people away from the money/marketing junkies. Who the f*ck calls a strain money maker? only a company like greenhouse also the marketing works when you're new or uninformed, me and my dad were like 'damn look at those nice cirlcle mixed strains from ghs' Thank god i never got a pack.

er......how does it protect their genetics in GH opinion? the answer is that you can't make a copy of the strain with fem seeds, like you could with regular seeds if you just buy enough seeds.

What about selfing the femme fatale to a S2???

I can touch on the statement of what is a money making strain.

I am personally growing Colombian x Jamaican from USC. The smoke report on this strain is over the roof, trippy, long lasting yada yada. I sprouted the seeds 4/20/13 and I have to be a month from finishing, perhaps more. So in my flower room I have two plants for about 6 months each, taking up the same amount of room as a 2 month strain, and providing about the same amount of weed. If my two sativas make a quarter pound each in 6 months that is 8 ounces in 6 months. A hybrid would make 24 ounces in the same space and time. If money was my motivation then I just lost 16 ounces.

Of course money is not my motivation, I never sell anything. If I did sell anything I certainly wouldn't be selling my sativas because I could never recoup enough to cover my lost time and space.

Now outside, why wouldn't a Colombian, Jamaican, Mexican want the same things that Europeans or Americans want, a huge amount of weed every two months. Pure Sativas are like Champagne and hybrids are like beer. People may like Champagne, but have to settle for beer. I grow my sativas for me. I can go to any dispensary and buy just about every hybrid you ever heard of, but I have to grow my own sativas because nobody can make any money off of it.

I believe indica is the king of hydro or indoor(in terms of turn over), and sativa is the king of outdoor. Outdoor sativa yields way more than an indica, plus sativa hardly ever get bud rot.

Like I say, that picture is about a month old. I would take another shot, but to get a good one I have to take it out and that is becoming a total hassle lately. But my buds are getting fatter and I am just waiting for this fucking thing to finish. I have one a couple week younger that I pollinated.

Watched the videos, don't much care for Greenhouse seeds though, and enjoyed them. My question is where is all that Colombian weed going after cutting. I'm a baby boomer who fondly remembers all the great Colombo we used to smoke. Hell now I have to grow my own, but when are they going to start shipping all that sativa kick ass smoke up to the states again? Damn I miss it.

My dream one day is to be able to freely grow Old Timers Haze especially the purple highland Colombian expressions. Punta Roja from cbg would be amazing. I feel sorry for the people that actually think green house has superior genetics. Someone needs to go to pakistan kush mountains and document it. Uzbekistan would also be very interesting to see the ancient giant indica genes.

i couldn't imagine anything worse! GHS and VICE in one place! GHS are just out to make money and try to secure the genes for them selves so when weed is legalised they are the only people out there who have original land race genetics. and vice 'journalism' is purely the opinions of the dumb american kids that present these shows.
why is it that all modern 'journalism' consists of peoples opinions!? they should all take a page out of louis theroux's book!
