I make hash with frozen trim or flarf , freeze dry the hash , I store everything in the freezer and keep all cannabis products as cool as possible until i process it. I squish my hash at 170f.... thinking about going to 160. All the rosin shown is squished from outdoor crop

i certainly wouldnt. Dry ice will result in a lot more plant matter and undesirables which taint the rosin. Fresh frozen trim washed into bubble, and microplaned, (freeze dried preferably) makes the best rosin ive seen. Really clean dry sift (90%+) will make a great rosin also.
appreciate the reply!

Hi guys,

thought I say hello to all the Rosin people on here :) and hope to share some pictures in the next couple of months.

This was only a small little test press of some freeze dried bubble to try out the new press. Mixed strains.

1 silver jones's trim turned to keif then pressed in 37u bag with 120u bag over top, then pressed at 160f. 8.9g off just trim is about the best ive hit from 1 plants trim.

Squished some 18 month old Florida OG flower, came out with a stable snap n pull texture, tastes like og and black pepper. When I pressed these buds fresh after harvest they turned to an opaque batter.

These buds were jar cured for 6 months then put in a freezer for a year

Fresh - 27% yield

18 month - 24% yield

QUOTE=Hashmasta-Kut;8779379]were they 3% different in moisture level too?[/QUOTE]

I didn't check any moisture levels. The buds were still squishy from the freezer but not as squishy as the fresh buds were.

I been squishing hash ive had in the freezer for a month or so , seems to come out identical to what i squished when i first made hash
Yes the weird paper fold i do seems to keep the rosin from coming out the sides , pretty crude and im not exactly OCD about stuph
