Is that flower rosin? i've never seen it butter up like that before mine always stays golden/amber and stays stable.

Do you mean if it's pressed at a low temperature, or if the rosin gets too cool after it's pressed?
i just pressed a bunch (like 9 varieties) of pretty dry material (larf and trim) at 230*F and got a range of consistencies. normally i press well cured material that holds in the 60% rH range in the jar at 220*F and i always get a variety of consistencies. budder, sap, sugar wax, caramel, pull and snap, and shatter.
these were all processed and handled in the same way (dry trim followed by a cure) and pressed in one day in a controlled environment (our lung room).
