New extraction technique? Rosin tech?

just did a comparison run of the hand press against that rosintech pneumatic press. hands down a superior product and more of it resulted from the hand press.

i have now pressed out over a pound of flowers and pounds of sift with this hand press, always taking into consideration the material MC, room RH/temps, and pressing returns.
i have achieved crazy stability, and held it for months in just parchment, i have worked past the buttering and sap issues with ease. this has been fun but very pointless research considering anyone can do this extraction method, and equipment that is being sold holds high liability, as well as being illegal to sell. your trying to sell electrical appliances that have no UL or other release approvals.

Which model did you buy from Rosintech? Works "perfect" for you or room for improvement? Thanks in advance.

I gotta say ya'll.. I wish I had tried this earlier I have smoked about a half gram of buds in the last 2 weeks but I've smushed probably an OZ or more!
I am still on the low tech.. double wide dial straightener by hand. Somewhere between 15-20 seems to work depending on the strain. Some of my biggest producers are too liquid on the lower end.
I'm really amazed at the production on certain strains.
On others.. I barely squeeze a few drops and now I know why those cookies weren't that strong.. can't tell by looking though.
Smushing production is now big on my keeper criteria lol
A lot has changed in only two weeks!

a friend uses this press and swears by it, says once you get the hang of it you will love it. plus its only $230

As someone who went and bought a heat press, then bought half a dozen straighteners, a welder, an arbor press, etc I can tell you that those t-shirt presses are absolute garbage compared to any kind of a real press. No point in spending money on them. Yes, you can get some oil, but if you're going to spend the same or close to the same amount of money on a t-shirt press, you could probably buy a MediSun / High5 / etc or something and get much better results and not have to buy twice.

Hey yall, thanks for the responses about my low yields. Turns out it did end up being moisture content. So i figured that out when I grab a bud from a plant that had been drying 4 days, same variety as before (52 F , 45% RH) so it was still pretty damp, anyway, I pressed that and the rosin came in a real way, so thanks for encouraging me to work through the issue.

But heres the deal, are yall pressing red and purple rosin from your colorful strains? Not just tinted, but staright up red or purple?
This seriously looks like someone put on purple lipstick and kissed the parchment.

I figured it had something to do with the wet. When i pressed it wicked dry I got some of the clearest rosin Ive seen, but no yield, i guess its about that medium between yield and quality.

Stunning pics croptober. In that first pic that's a teabag?
Haven't made any rosin but I'm very interested in trying, I have some bubble I wanted to experiment with.
