Nice to see a few Mainiacs up in here, peace to the New England Massive

I'll be trialing some Mighty Mite and Guerilla Gold for early and making hybrids with later flowering types. Will try these crosses with a few local clones and the double strawberry diesels I picked up.

Also running Diablo (early durban x grapefruit x blueberry) from Next Gen.-- supposed to be in before Oct 1.

I always wanted to try durban outside, I liked the smoke I grew inside of it. I'll be doing biddy early this year and maybe derailed blues.

I have grown GG #1 GG#2 GG#3 , Mitey mite, and durban poison up here in ME. They all did very well . All of them were picked early Sep. Also Blueberry does well too .

BLUEBERRY! Really..... never knew that would finish in Me. Who's version did you grow? I'll be running Biddy Early and Biddy's Sister. I'm trying to re-veg a Blockhead to use as a mum but dayum, it's a slow go.

ive run bc bud depot blueberry and got awesome results. finished up around sept. 25th. the two years before, i grew peak seeds northernberry ( NL#5 x blueberry) and got some nice sized plants that finished very early, like late august to the first few days of sept. very fast strain nice taste and great high. ill be running peaks northern berry this spring because of its growing capabilities. seeds were very large and they were the biggest seedlings i had going. very mold resistant also. ill also be trying some strawberry deisel this year and i really wanna try maybe a african strain to see how big of a sativa i can grow in a short season. -bluebuds

Interesting, may have to look into this for future grows. Keep us posted on the SD, wanting to try something diesel. Thought about the Quick Mist Diesel. Geesh, too many strains, not enough time.

whats going on New Englanders,

I have been growing indoors going on 5 years this summer, yet i am never really tried doing anything outdoors. This year is going to be different though i plan on putting multiple plants outdoors, I have a secured spot that i have been starting to prepare for the summer. I plan on placing 15-20 plants scattered around the area so they're not all right next to each other fighting for energy and food. Anyways my question is since i never grown outdoors which strains that i have in my mother room is going to be my outdoor beauties.

I have the following strains:
Kush haze
basic kush
MTG13XSD
White Russian
BermeseXG13
KKSC
White widow
Medicino Purple
Miss Mud
Giesol
FFA
Blockhead
Somango

I was wondering if anyone know if any of these strains do well in the NE outdoors region? If not can someone recommend some for me to use. Thanks alot

Thanks buddle,

I kinda of knew i was gonna try that one because i read it only take about 55 days to flower. Also how long does it take the MTFXSD to flower? It sounds sexy and i haven't ran it indoors yet. One of my main concerns is putting plants outside that won't flower in time. My plan is to get roots on my clones, transplant them into solo cups, grow them until they're about 5-8 inches. I plan on having this size by early may so they can be transplanted outside.

My question is if i put them outside in early may at 5-8 inches, can i run a strain in NE outside that takes 70-75 days to finish?

MUCH EAST COAST LOVE

70-75 days might be pushing it depending where you are. In alot of NE, 70-75 days of flower time is too long.

Has anyone in the NE grown Blockhead outdoors? I've seen some people mention it's susceptible to mold, so I was curious if anyone has had success in this area.

On the 70-75 day finish thing, it depends on when they start flowering! If its really photosensitive or gets put out at a weird time why wouldn't it finish?

Where I'm located, and alot of NE rains and cool temps bring on the mold QUICKLY, I have to harvest by first week in Oct .(still have mold most of the time) Temps might be ok for growing but the mold is the problem. Parts of NE may not have this problem but I sure do. Aug and Sept are 61 days, nothing I've grown so far begins flowering in July. Usually middle of AUG is when flowering begins for me. No auto flowering strains for me either. Deft I hope I'm wrong but so far I have seen no evedince that it'll work any other way for me.

I'd like to add that I'm not saying this is FACT for all of NE, it is how it works for me though. Boy, I sure do wish I could grow some of those longer finishing strains! :frown:
