good going hightlighter!!! nice phat looking buds!!!!
this has been an enlightening experience to say the least. i wish i could show you the real view but unfortunately that would be dumb on my part. i am still knee deep in trimming. i've got like 4 whole trees that have to be trimmed and jarred this weekend...they've been hanging for 2 weeks. the most recent ones i trimmed fresh(which i prefer). i've already trimmed and jarred 2 cases of mason jars....one case is 1/2 gal wide mouth jars(the cola jars) :woohoo:
i'll post pics beginning of next week when the house is empty and i can sprawl out my collection.

HIGHLIGHTER- great job man, those look sexy

lil update....
brad lee and i have our ladies hanging and stinking the whole state up, it seems.
comments about skunks living in the area are common place
prolly going to have to leave them for another good week before any type of real trimming can take place... then bags, then jars.........

looking at all these posts just makes me think of next yr
Good work everyone
Peace

Thx guys & gals! :D

They ain't looking too sexy right now! The RW's hanging:

The one's on the rgt were picked 4d's prior. I usually trim immedietly, but these RW's look to be easy to trim, so I'm letting 'em dry whole. Usually results in better tasting pot, but I bet anything after I'm done I'll vow never to trim dry bud again!
An OGer I really respect hipped me to his slow-dry method of hanging them in a big cardboard box w/ no fan. The moisture asorbs into the cardboard supposedly. I did this w/ the Biddy's, but this time added a small fan blowing indirectly within. The seeded Biddy's are drying like the RW's, hung whole in dark bathroom w/ a indirectly occillating fan. A taste test will be conducted down the line. BTW, I broke open a swollen Biddy calyx to find a beautiful dark seed! This makes me happy to no end knowing I'll have this one to work w/ again! I felt like such a loser w/ my failed breeding last yr.

Here's a shot of RW runt #2, a perfect miniture to the rest of the RW's.

Here's RW runt #1, the one truely different pheno. The RW's take after the Trainwreck predominately, but this one leans more towards the Apollo. While all the others smell the same- a peppery cardomom hit that intoxicates, this one has the Apollo Juicy Fruit smell that turns to lemon when cured. Will be interesting to see how this one plays out.

brad lee checking in,

sdw and i have been busy bees trimming. as this is both our firt time with ths task, we were surprised at how tedious this can become. good news is, it is very well worth it. buds look very sexy, and patience will certainly be a virtue now in the curing process.

best of luck to everyone.

bud shots to come when i can get my girlfriends camera back

peace and respect

Bradlee, Stalldaworld, what happened to waiting a good wk? lol! I trimmed a few things a little early myself. Had to do the seeded buds to see what kind of take I got. Got 36 beans just from stem calyx's, haven't torn into any buds tho. That's the Biddy f3's, the cross w/ the RW didn't take as well, just 6 beans found.
Yeah trimming is tedious. Gotta make yerself comfortable, some good jams playing, make the best of it. Trimming these dried plants is kinda fun, like being an archeologist, clearing away the debris to find a jewel! :D

DAVESNOTHERE, how's that GPS work on shrooms? :abduct: :biglaugh:

litebuzz, where's that pile? 6 1/2 gal jars of colas I gotta see! :bigeye:

brad lee checking in

me and sdw just tranfrred from hanging to paper bags. they had a good two weeks fo hanging but wre still fairly moist. stems bent but did not snap. hopefully the bags will draw out the remaining moisure. buds look even better than i had initially thought which is obviously a plus. will post some pictures when i get around to it.

i wish all of you continued luck and god fortune.

too bad we cant all get together and sample the fruits of ouir labors together. im sure this jamaican shit would bring something new to everyones table and would love to share it with you all.

peace and bigupforyourself highlighter. those buds glisten. :friends:

Hey bcell, good to see ya!
Miss the old gang back from OG days, glad yer peeping in. Nice to meet new folks tho, and hopefully this thread can snowball into bigger things next yr. I can hardly wait, big plans already, at least til reality steps in! :biglaugh:

Nice rainy day to finish off my trimming. Five rocketwreck's done today, hung 2 wks. Still need more drying time.
When they were cut, they lost the lovely cardomom smell and turned to a generic astringent blast, which has since pickd up a lemony wiff. Seems it might cure out to the "lemon pledge".
While trimming the runts, noticed a few beans on the stalk calyxs'. The male Biddy had been stored 20 yds away.
Runt #1, the only dif pheno, had alot more seed leaf of indica descent and was way frostier. The beans from runt #2 will be discarded, but the R#1 could be interesting...:D

whats up everyone
so everything is out of the paper bags and into mason jars..... they look so good, and it is very hard not to cram my roor but im holding off untill brad lee's are finished....
his went into jars this morning and are lookin great.... so a good 2 weeks and we should be ready to go..
next year seems like so far away, and already i cant wait. I wish ihad a place to do indoor but its just not in the cards right now so i cazn wait til next summer...
ill put some pics up when we get the good camera and everything isready to burn

litebuzz has plenty to be thankful for! Very nice stash! :D:yes:

In all practicality, you've got enough stash to last quite awhile. No reason to grow. Just the same, you will grow, cause the growing is addicting, not the smoke. Happy T-day, everyone!

42 degree latitude finishers

Hey All,
I used thescreen name HapyCampr on the outdoor forums at Og.I had an excellent harvest last fall.I've heard a lot of FMS Easy Sativa...These did very well for me as well. All were very frosty, finished by late Sept, one pheno yielded about 100 gms,the other three were 200+gms.Grown organically in the ground. Also grew Paradise's Sensi Star,Dutch Dragon and Belladonna.Sagamartha's Diamond Head and Dr Greenthumbs Niagara and Endless Sky.
This yrs grow will include DJ Short blueberry,Princess Diesel,Mendecino Madness, and Fms Grapefruit,Early Misty.
Yr before last I grew Jamaican Pearl..purchased while on holiday in Amsterdam Sensi Seeds were all very uniform..pleasure to grow.
