I am in the lamest medicinal state, just outside of New England. Would like to follow, since I will need to move in next year or two.

My state has had medical for 8 years, and only about 125 people, who are probably in comas, are licensed to use.

yes, it sucks, a lot of medMJ laws passing today are basically meant to shut down medMJ political efforts rather than help patients.

Scrappy, sales are not legal without a license. Giving away the herb is legal if you do it without public promotion. A lot of delivery services are flaunting the law, so far only a couple have been busted - Boston's Best Buds and one other one I think.

How do you propose to do it? How does one, "make a stand?"

Go to mass.gov, find your state rep amd senator, amd either call write or both. And keep calling writing and encouraging others to do as well.

Imagine if they said ypu could not grow tobacco if you could see it from the road...
.ever been down sourh? Tobacco on both sides of the road or highway.

Good. Get out there and organize, rabble rouse, make noise. I'm a Vermonter and have done my bit. We have a good shot at getting a bill passed this year.

I think this one will go through the House pretty easily. I see you are acquainted with our new governor. We are still some distance from getting a bill all the way through.

Where are you getting your information, Muleskinner? You are ahead of me. I hunted a little and couldn't get it. Admittedly my research is rather thin.

this article was from yesterday, says the House vote might be today. I found another one saying it's going to be next week. Do a Google search every day on "Vermont Marijuana", click on "News" and then select "Tools" then change "sort by relevance" to "sort by date", you won't miss anything.

>>>The Judiciary Committee voted 8-3 in favor of H.170, which would make it legal in Vermont to possess 1 ounce or less of marijuana, up to two mature marijuana plants and up to four immature plants. It is expected to hit the House floor next week.

I can't think of one "legalization" bill anywhere in the country that was actually for the peoples best interest and not corporations. Really sad in places like MA and ME where it was already plenty legal before, now the chances of that changing are much higher. Yet the average stoner has no fucking clue...

my guess is that Pharma has paid them to delay, at least until the stores open in Maine and Mass.

Will be interesting in coming years to see just how corrupt our political class really is. How much longer will it take for a state legislature to Repeal? I would not be surprised if they never do, I could see us with only 10-12 referendum states having legal herb for many years.

Even though the laws about outdoor cultivation seem abit shady to still Im taking the chance and excercising my God Given Right to grow 12 plants per household as long as its not seen by the public road. Doing 12 at one place.,12 at another, and 12 at another.
Gonna split 2 of those 50/50 and another 3-ways.

I think as long as its 12 per house and they're hidden behind locked fences I should be good.
At 2 houses, were only growing 3lb plants to keep them smaller.
At another house were going for it. Trying for 10 lbers. 1000 gln beds for each plant. :pirate:
Thoughts or opinions on being able to do this in plain site of neighbors yards that could peek over the fence and call the po-po?
Can the po stop on over and rip em up?

Last summer I read an article about 2 card holding med growers in mass that were in compliance with i think 12 plants in a fenced and locked area out of sight in a backyard, long story short their was a helicopter buzzing around and not shortly after they unidentified officers went into their back yard and cut everything down, took it and left.

No charges were filed but their crop was stolen even after the home owners greeted the officers with their cards.

The med and rec laws state it can't be seen from public space and if it can't be seen without the use of helicopter or binoculars it should be fine.

This summer in Maine and Ma should be interesting. My guess is people will be timid to grow OD on their property until they se how it goes. I'd imagine there should be no stopping guerrilla grows since under 12 is technically legal.

You could technically sprinkle guerrilla plants everywhere and go collect them one at a time.
