Last year it took me a few hours just to walk by all the exhibits. I enjoyed the exhibits and vendors and networking way more than the speeches and talks. For example there were 10 or 15 different lighting companies there, each with all their different LED's and HPS's hooked up and running. Gavita had a mini greenhouse with 7 or 8 Dutch people staffing the booth. Leafly has their own lounge area. I think there were 140+ exhibitors last year, have to think that will double this year. I wonder if they'll be allowed to give away seeds or free samples.

If you get the cheap ticket you still get to hear many of the presentations. I would wait and see if there's any specific talk you want to hear on the schedule before buying the BIC ticket.

Impressive. Sounds like a good time. Thanks. Might go big, go BIC and make it a two dayer. Maybe some of the eateries will have a byop night for exhibitioners.

Checking the closest hotels, Sheraton, Hilton, the prices are already jacked to the mid $300s. With a cab ride, prices are much better, but the entertainment factor drops off.

that sucks, definitely do not stay in a regular business hotel, it will be brutal. I live about 45 minutes away, last year I drove in for 2 days of it. You could always park your car at one of the outlying T stops and take the train in for the day.

This year I hope to work the event as an activist and collect signatures to our legislators. We're also planning a 4/20 protest march against attempts to undermine the law.

I support that. When you have a link to sign up I will share it with our SE Mass weekly meet up group. That will get some sigs.

It sucks that they want to turn it into another millionaires game. I think small growers and "farmers market" would be way more cool.

It's possible that the Cannabis Control Commission could allow micro-scale cultivation and retail licenses. Hopefully if enough people come to their hearings and ask for it and write to them they'll do it.

I didn't much like what I just read about the blizzard of bills being introduced in the Mass legislature seemingly all directed at slowing down, prohibiting, and encouraging the big money to rule. The people voted but it seems like politicians can throw the vote right out the window in Massachusetts. Vermonter here, by the way.

We had killer legal weekend on the Beast Coast and I only attended 2 of many events.

Got to meet a bunch of lurkers from here as well as some members I had been in touch with.

The whaling city event had about a dozen people demoing or vending and working and 33 attendees.
They reflex clones and a big vegged plant and there was free pizza and drinks, smoking was just outside the door and I sent lots of joints out to sample and sold and gave away beans.

They plan on making it a monthly thing and it was really cool after so many years of talking about tomatoes in grow shops to walk into one with a ready to harvest.plant reeking up the joint!
The Aptus rep gave me some samples and there were cute females selling some pipes.

The Tetrahyro Club is awesome and the guys who caught the case and fought the law for years to make it legal deserve major props.

They have events there 4 days a week for medical members where vending is allowed and table rent is $100. Smoking allowed.

Because RI has strong decriminalization They also allow events for adult use where you don't need a card to get in but there are no vendors allowed on those nights.

I saw some pretty decent buds there pretty much everyone was $10/gram with discounts at zips, I even bought some and was happy to see some decent looking cookies.

I'm not so scared about trying to make my stash last 4 months until I can pull a harvest off at my new home.

they have a really nice big automated rosin press that anyone can use and I popped my rosin cherry on some GG4. I dig the rosin buzz and plan on getting a rig now.

It will be handy for days when I don't have the time to smoke the three joints I need to feel ok in the morning.

It seems like cookies and glue are the only elites on the market with lots of seed selection gear being sold.
The quality here is so much better than three years ago, it's catching up on Michigans level but I didn't see any legit sour or Og yet.

I tickled many noses with my OG jar this weekend and smoked out a bunch of people with it.

A couple of IC maggerz were hanging with me at the end yesterday and I got to give them the OG buzz and then demonstrate how OGKB 2.0 cuts through it.

There's a distillate lab in Maine with a rep who was vending clear oils and he also had crazy terpy waxes too $60 grams.
I really didn't expect to see that on the market already.
He had the white powder 99.5% Thca and Refined CBD products too.

I spent a week processing 4 years of trim and larf I had saved up the week before I moved and I want to throw it away after seeing what this guy had.

The best concentrates I've ever seen in person and $60 a gram seems very fair to me. Six cents a milligram is cheap IMO.

I'll be back with my beans again this Friday at six pm at the Tetrahyro club, if you don't have a med card hit me up over the border in Mass.

I do not give a single shit about football, but that was a historical game. I figured we were loosing that one. Its cool we won.
My only sport is hockey. Im going to a bruins game in a month.

New walking dead tonight!

I started making vape cartridges with shatter. They come out great and 1g of shatter turns into about 3 cartridges.

Hopefully everyone did ok in the storm. Im lucky enough to have an Aries snowblower.

hoping the power stays on! This snow is looking heavy and wet. The last storm didn't really hit here, only about 8 inches, I've got a feeling we're about to get slammed this time

GREAT show last night!
I wonder why Rick Grimes was smiling when he got surrounded? Maybe he knows the higher ups in charge... and thinks he found his big army to fight the Saviors?
They were'nt Wolves.....
I wonder what happend to that group of spanish people who had Glenn, and were gonna toss him off the roof, and were trying to get the big bag of guns Rick dropped getting into the tank, and were taking care of the old people? They turned out to be a good group of people. They would be a big help if they came back into the picture.

LOVED LOVED LOVED the 2 car and rope technique to take out a hundred quick Walkers.
Cant wait to see what they do with the explosives. I hope they get Negan, put him in a cell, and torture the hell outa him.
Although...I do love that evil bastard. Hes funny as hell. He played "The Comedian" on that superhero movie "Watchmen".

overgrow - last weeks walking dead was much more action packed. this week made progress in the story, inspired hope, but was overall pretty lame. How will rick get all the guns? Will the new group get the job done? It looks like the Kingdom will end up fighting.

We've had acouple wonderful days outside recently. Its a nice drive with the sunroof and windows open. I will take the dog on a few extra long walks today.

JRon- Welcome! feel free to post and ask questions. we have a great community of experienced growers.

I hope everyone is well. I'm about to chop some Sour Bubble and GG4
