Are you running a dehumidifier? this fall I ended up going sealed with a/c and co2. My dehumidifier keeps the temps up during lights off now. Last year I was battling all winter with it so it definitely made the difference.

I need the collective's help. I seem to have developed a case of Botrytis in my garden. I'm not real sure what to do.. the books are not real clear on treatment. My closet is fairly crowded right now which I'm sure is not a help in the matter. I just pulled 2 plants and would say I lost the better part of one to the crud. Cervantes's book recommends 'Bordeaux mixture' with no explanation of what that is.. I've never heard of it. Sounds like a wine kit to me.. Any suggestions or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

theres not really anything that can be sprayed to stop rot, its bascially a dew point inside the bud

best thing you can do it is not let it get too cold at lights out, and make sure to have fans blowing on the canopy 24/7

Lower humidity, better airflow,a bit of de leafing, cut out the mold and the areas around it. Also you could spray some water mixed with hydrogen peroxide but there's really not much you can do except have better conditions next round.
Good luck.

I lost some nice buds to rot on my last harvest and have added a dehumidifier. Already have lots of air moving. The dehumidifier keeps the RH at about 50%, and it was at 77% when the rot developed. Caught it just in time and kept the losses to a minimum. Heres a pic of some 35 day jar cure C99...

Sorry to hear bro...Oxidate is a good product for mold, or high grade (35%) Hydrogen peroxide. I've used Green Cure too. Bordeaux is some old school. My de-huey went out onme this fall and I got hit a bit too, best of luck

Looks yummy!

Maynard - I know that I had the same response to fb's question but I'll say it again. If you don't have a dehumidifier then get one. My flowering room stays at 45% now, doesn't get cold at night, and no more bud rot...

Update on places to get vector butane online, check amazon...6 cans for $30...can't beat that!

NE Grower, looking good, can't wait to see her in a few more weeks.

thinking about reusing my exhaust to heat(help heat) the building my grow is located in...which in turn should aid in keeping heat from going too low duringthe lights out...I also have my liht schedule set up for night-time grows, with lights on at night, off during the day...this helps offset the coldnights...peace n much love y'all!

Archie! all I got going on is nothing in comparison to what you've got happening.. sorry to hear.. re the bort, I got some 'green-cure' and used it.. It was not a major problem.. it got about half of a blue widow (my fave at the time).. the 'g/c' came highly recommended from a couple people I trust.. I'm gonna be ok.. only gotta make it till 12/15 and i'll be done for the year.. I'll give the closet a good douching with bleach before I get things rollin after the holidays.. Hang in there man!!
