Nah, i haven't gotten him fixed and he NEVER eats, unless its human food. I started on the EVO, moved to Eukanuba, Purina Pro Plan, now im on Blue Buffalo. I have to mix alpo wet food into it for him to eat it, even then he leaves a lot of the dry food behind. He's just a really picky spoiled rotten shepherd, i thought the grease would give the food some flavor and fatten him up some, but it just made him really sick. Bloody loose stool seems to be the norm when he eats something he isn't supposed to, 3rd time i've seen it. I'm feeding him the gastro "highly digestable" diet until things are solid again. Thanks for your concern! Here's a bunch of picures i just took to update the album

Enjoy
Check out Timberwolf Organics website. It could save your dogs life. Look into the wild natural 100% grain free kibble. They founded the company to create dog food for dogs with digestive problems or food sensitivities. It's really great stuff,if your dog is having food/eating problems please look into it.

Anyone know of any local stores that carry bulk 25lb+ organic amendments ? Looking for kelp meal , alfalfa meal , fish bone meal , green sand, organic soybean meal , organic cotton seed meal , etc...

Thanks

Well, local is all relative to where you're at. If you're in central Maine, I would recommend checking Metcalf's in Cornish ME. If you're not in that area, I'm not sure.

German shepherd dogs are notorious for food digestive/allergies...We have had many who were......You gotta get him on a constistant diet program and stick with it.....
When unkanuba formula was changed a few years ago without telling breeder,i lost faith in that company...We are currently feeding our 3 GSD's "Royal Canin" german shepherd 24...Made specific for the breeds requirments..
Dont mean to sound preachy just genuinely concerned about our/man's best friend.
If i can be of any further assistance feel free to p.m me..E/C

FYI....don't feed your dog food with bacon grease drizzled over the top of it (to get the dog to eat). EXPLOSIVE DIARREAH, followed by vomitting and bloody shits, SOMETIMES TOGETHER... Thats how my morning has been going, even my dankness won't take that smell outta my nose
Hey that is some serious shit...too much Bacon grease in one sitting can give a dog pancreatitis....
http://www.petplace.com/dogs/acute-pancreatitis-in-dogs/page1.aspx
is your dog in pain? if so that is probably what it is... To help settle the stomach you could give Pepcid (an over-the-counter antacid). You can give 10-20mg per 40 pounds of body weight... Pepcid comes in 10mg or 20mg tablets. You can give it every 12 hours.

I hope you pooch is feeling better man

American Bulldogs are notorious for their stomach problems and my pup, is no exeption
I was told by my vet(she has a AmBull) to go on the raw and meaty bone diet...but, that is a crazy hassle.
then she told me if I cant do that... then to put him on Canidae all life stages dry food (it has 4 different protein sources) the problem was my dog hates dry dog food...and he also hates ground wet pat'e type foods in a can....so I tried literally every wet chunk type food in the store...but, they gave him gas, every one of them...organic/ non organic didn't matter.
i was resigned to think... well, I guess that's my dog..he will always have gas..
but about a month and a half ago i decided to try Natural Balance (those sausage roll looking things)...they smell good... almost like a slim jim... he absolutely loves it
and I haven't smelt a fart since nor has he had, diarrhea.

Gotta make sure the wife doesn't see your pix!! Really nice looking pups!! I would love one!!

I only adopt older shelter dogs though .Especially ones That have been stuck at the shelter for a long time. All the cute young pups always find a home fast , it's the older guys that get stuck .

i guess it depends on what you use for a timer or controller.
i use an analoge timer, i added an hour and reset the time accordingly. but if i didnt change the time, it would still be running on and off at the same time...just the time of day will be off by an hour.

I don't think it will make much difference unless you have other underlying stress issues with your plants. Provided they are healthy well cared for plants, an hour shift shouldn't be an issue. In my particular case, it's pretty important to have the cycle start at 7 p.m. and off at 7 a.m., so the adjustment at time change is pretty important and seems to have no ill effect. Just sayin..

Its where aeroguerilla hosts his pictures and since they are a poster sized 4000x3000 pictures it slows things down a little. :watchplant:
