NEW Colorado Growers Thread

Sooo who has good clones these days? Just about a week away from our new room being done (building permits and all, oh my!) but we just have access to Chemdawg 91 from Apothecary Genetics, and DJ Short's Blueberry from a friend. Would like to grow some of the newer elite cuts this time around though if possible. I think I read a while back in this thread Kind Love had good clean clones, any other recommendations?
For what its worth our favorite med dispensary is Herbal Remedies, 160 o's of top shelf and like 25 shatter, punch card for extra discounts, on top of $25 off every $250 so basically 10% off. They also give you weed in actual baggies instead of like 8 1/8th pill bottles if you get an oz which is so annoying, and they don't take 30 minutes to print out a bunch of labels every time either like Native Roots
Looking forward to having a permanent stockpile of enough strains that we don't have to hit up the stores anymore though!

I used KL about 3 months back and the clone was clean. Was given a goji from them over the weekend and so far so good. They seem relatively clean for the most part, just take the standard precautions to quarantine and treat it like it has everything wrong.
I am waiting patiently for rare dankness to open up and see what they carry as I liked their seeds, hoping their clones are comparable.

Hey check my thread named : My 1st 'legal' grow.....with clones.
KL clones. Djs BB is fucking killing it. Took 4 cuts already off it.
Z7 is a little slower in veg, but catching up. Afghani Landrace is stout too. Took 3 cuts off her.
Picked up a Purple Urkle from The CLinic on Colifax, but it didn't make it.
BTW most dispensaries outside of The CLinic and a few others I have been to pull the multiple pill bottle for bud. And I agree it's a waste.

Best place for clones is craigslist. If you use standard quarantine procedures you can come up with some crazy shit. Met a kid from houston with the real deal Shoreline, Legend OG, True OG, right now I have seen wedding cake, Sunset Sherbet, and many others. I personally have found some great genetics from craigslist. Way better than the stores.
Just treat the clones like they have the plagues nd you will be good to go.

Moved back to the Front Range from the mountains and damn! good genetics iz getting around! I echo what the others said about KL , Clist and just a reminder to seriously treat these cuts that get around like the plague lol
on that note...
what is everyones "nuclear" option for quarantine new strains
like, kontos, forbid, spinsoad, neem, pyrethrins, enzymes, spinosad, neem, pyrethrins, enzymes, spinosad, neem, pyrethrins, enzymes, spinosad neem, pyrethrins, enzymes, spinosad neem, spinosad, pyrethrins, enzymes
or something like that for about 2 weeks spraying every day or every other day, sometimes i alternate killing sprays (everything listed above) with beneficials like em1, quantum, kelp, aminos, fpjs

I've said it before... I like to know who to blame when I have bugs!! I'm leary.... to each his own
Really what I'm saying... is if said dispenser sells you a clone.. how do you know if it's pheno#1 super dank, or pheno#2 pretty good but bug infested. The seed pop, and pheno hunt helps grow a grower.

A special cut can be worth the extra trouble. Just got to keep it separate and deal with it . On another note.....everyone says nuke em with sprays etc but why not get some predators and let them loose on it. Plus you could probably put the cut with everything else too if you put the sachets on or around that cut. Just a thought and keep it green Colorado ! Peace sdd

when a pheno selection has been around for say ten years + , ecsd/ghost og etc. a few days cleaning her up is worth having a classic in the stable , now days determining cuts is pretty easy in my opinion , many reference points.

I am also of this opinion. I just find it doubtful that any dispensary is going to give out their best cuts, it just doesn't make a whole lotta business sense. Sure is a nice way to easily try something out though, if it's an average to good representation of the strain I am a happy customer.

Pyrethrins, big time exterminator, neem and essential oils, rotate this every day for 2 weeks.
If you want to throw some spinosad in there it wouldn't hurt at all. You can't overdo it.
