I feel bad for you outdoor folks up in altitude... I for one OTOH cannot wait for cooler weather and the relief brought from no longer running the A/C, literally 24/7.

Do you know if you have your grow area, or house for that matter, properly insulated? That is a HUGE factor and if you get that done that will significantly reduce the load on your AC and help lower utility bills

I know, but thanks for the tip bro. I just relocated and am currently just renting an old apartment and the the air circulation is crap (window A/C in living room) as is the wiring I'm finding out. I stepped heavy while watering the back left-hand portion of the tent and it turned off the HPS in the adjacent outlet! I'm totally sketched but as I'm renting in an apartment with a no grow clause in the lease (strictly lists plants for smoking, I suppose I could pass on edibles..IDK..seriously doubt that would hold though) I don't want to say anything.

It rained last night or early this morning AND it was 28F when I got up at 6am.

I went out & peeled the Gorilla Grape from the screen before sun up. She's harvested & the house smells wonderfully grape skunky.
Brrrr... It was cold & wet.

I went out to have a look see and it appears that most everything handled it!
GG#4 had a couple leaves that were frost bit but overall she ate that shit up.

Orange Glues, GG#4xKhalisi, Blueberry & ECSDxC99 all ate it up. Orange Glues & P98 Bubba are the only ones showing much color change due to elevated anthocyanin.

My Blue Hawaiian x Chem D IBLs showing a bit of frost damage on 2 plants & the other two hated the wet freeze last night.

I'm getting my board waxed for some early wet snow.
Winters here!

Yall have a happy harvest season.

Tonight will be the test. Make it through that and it's looking like smooth sailing for the rest of the forecast.

Well this poor Grape Ape still needs about 5 weeks...I guess it will become extract.:(

But This GSC GA cross is about 2-3 till perfection...I hope she gets there!

After looking at this pic closer i had to back and look at that lower right bud...It must be lighting???
Try to ignore the burns on the edges of the fan leaves...This was my first year using ProTekt and a few of the plants seem to have burned from it but other didn't. I did notice is by strains that are prone to the burn. 2 other strains show nothing???

Someday i might actually learn how to load and take pictures???Maybe???

What's your pro tekt application rate? I use 1/2 teaspoon per 48 ounce pump sprayer and haven't ever had any issues.

This is my biggest nail-biter. It is the PCK x Grape Ape cross that fought me since last summer. It wouldn't clone. After 3 heavy pollen brushings i only got 5 seeds. 4 popped, 1 was male, 2 refuse to grow (actually she was so slow i couldn't believe it)...this is a one off never to be seen again unicorn. But after 5 years of chasing the perfect PURPLE bud...I think i found a good Swan Song. The Grape smell is sooo intense. That was what was missing in the PCK...It had no real flavor notes to keep your interest. The Grape Ape brought it out in BIG time.
But she needs about 2 more weeks to fill-out and finish turning purple...this purple is just the beginning of how the PCK side colors out the calyxes...i hope she makes it so i can say i really did it.

I think my problem is that i used a whole gallon (2 teaspoons)...just not sure if it is too strong or too much sprayed???

WOW! Just saw some real news. Sheriff Kirk Taylor announced that the cause of the Beulah fire was CDOT. So does this mean you can sue the state for the loss of your plants if you are legally growing? It seems like it would fall under the same thing as cops that got sued for cutting legal grows???
