NEW Colorado Growers Thread

Bueller? Bueller?
LOL...i wish i were out driving.

Looks like i have 2 more males to kill. It is too late to plant any more, unless i found a couple about 3 foot tall...no time to quarantine...I think i pushed my luck way too far this year to risk any more nasty surprise. I hope i can get a camera before Halloween. That is about the earliest i will be having any finish up this year...i hope that gamble holds out...

I've been looking to purchase some raw land to build on and am curious if anybody has experience w Alimosa & the surrounding communities?

Advice is much appreciated.

Where should I be looking?

Where should I avoid & why?

I need the ability to camp on the property while I build.
Prefer not to deal with a LOA but it almost seems inevitable that I'll have to.

Other suggestions?

Thank you in advance to anybody that can help make this process run smoothly.

There isn't much of an economy in that area, other then the large scale farming. It can get really cold in the winter.

I know what it's like to "do time" at/in the hospital. Lost plants too. I had people who said they were my friends, who would tell me if I ever needed any help they would help. When I really needed that help, no one had the time of day to help like they said they would. They showed their true colors.

So I can understand how that can mess up your garden, I can imagine some of what you went through Doc.

Ever have one of those nose tubes while at the hospital, those things suck!
Which one...They have several types of those. I have been fighting cancer since Jan.2011. Ever have a chest-tube? Those are the ones i have come to fear.
Actually i got locked up because my potassium level was 2.8, they said you are supposed to die at 3.5 or lower.
The cops thing today really freaked me out. I have been going through some pretty serious tests last week and this. One i had to go back for every 12 hours. Today they just got done lighting me up with the third type of radiation for these scans. How did the cops find me there??? It is kinda buggin the heck out of me. The Techs asked me to please try to stay about 10 feet from them...I dare not go near an airport. They showed me how i light up a sensor.

I have been trying to find help for the grow...you summed it up right. Now there is nothing left to do since it is out-door. I am down to 2 Green Crack, 2 Grape Apes (1???), and Girl Scout Cookie. I put out everything i had held back as males pop. But i just had SSSOOO many this year, and have been watching my plant count exact left me only a few of those. They are so small and August is almost over.

That's better, anyway... uggh, buying grams while waiting for Jay to deliver is driving me nuts, can't wait to see how the last slab came out, mostly mixed but tons of tahoe alien.

Has anybody around here heard of this before? https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=309172

I have been trying to find a way to maybe make it work to salvage these males. Any ideas???
Mostly seen it used on popcorn/shakey flowers, never heard of it being used on male material.

Guessing you'd want to sift out as much pollen as possible while the plant material was wet, remove anything without trichomes, let the plant dry, and as it dries more pollen sacks will open and release yet more of the undesired materials. Once you get rid of as much non-usable material as possible, you could then attempt to bind what remained up into a cob or thai stick, but i'm still not sure how good it would be.

Your idea sounds like the best i found so far to pre-prep.
It is this sweating then vacuum that is making me wonder if that can change the weed to make it edible for me.
I saw an article on MSN were Asians do this to garlic and they find the garlic has more healing properties. Almost tempted to head to the farms to get some garlic also.
Really trying to figure out how to make this work. I only have one shot. About half i think i picked too long ago already.

With only one experiment to conduct, hard to know how things will come out, if you had time and knew of someone who regularly grew males, you could experiment over time and see if you could use the fermentation curing technique (originally they would bury these cobs or thai sticks, sometimes for months) to improve the quality of male material, even make it palatable, but it would likely be a lot of trial and error, or several trials all at once and 1 golden winner.

I had been following this for a couple of weeks. When he started saying it was edible it caught my attention.
I NEVER want to see another male.(right now anyway)
think i am going to completely give up chasing purple. That is what left me here.

was also thinking that these current Colorado monsoons get hot and damp enough they might help this sweating they are talking about.
