Jhhnn the biggest shippers are the dispensary owners themselves. Look at that bust up in Aurora recently with the people with million dollar houses. They had 13 licenses through the MED..... Give me a break on the mom and pop shit.

There's obviously some of that. It's what seed to sale tracking attempts to inhibit. I was just pointing out that sloppy carpetbaggers draw the heat onto everybody in the locale, like they've done in Pueblo County. They don't even try to play the game. No cover. No license. No job. No positive interactions with the neighbors. Pay cash for everything. Perpetual parade of out of state plates coming & going. Obvious code violations wrt exterior electrical. Non-existent odor control.

I mean, Kee-rist. Pueblo West is wide open. The cops can dial in on such folks from a mile away, particularly if they cheat & use one of these-

It's not admissible in court, not yet, anyway, but once they're on to somebody they'll find things that are.

I'm six weeks into flowering with the current batch- Nirvana Northern Light & Jock Horror. I'm really surprised at how fast a couple of them are maturing. I've never grown anything that showed senescence quite so early. When I read about strains that mature in 7 weeks I always thought it wasn't true, but it is with a couple of these girls.

Hell- I could probably harvest 2 of them today if I wasn't a follower of the longer is better school of thought. It smells mostly like coffee in there, also a new experience.

Good friends are hard to find.....

My buddy recently change his regiment and went to super soil and Down to Earth products.
I give him hugs all the time when he crushes it like this Shrieker from Exotic.
Citrus cream and man what a great job ....he ran it 12 weeks.

Just got a spot in Mesa county. Very secluded. No water but the truck will come. Plan to run in peat mix.
Anyone know the local atmosphere. Coming from a non 420 place so how big a carpet bag should i carry. Neighbors say they all grow and no one is legal. I think I can get a license even with an out of state DL. First year there I want all my ducks straight at least with the state Mesa county Im unsure what the law there is like

Mesa county's not bad. Not the best but not bad either. It's livable.

It's dry as funk but you already figured that out I think.

Watch out for tweekers n thieves.

Licenses just let the state know your business. No point in them, unless you plan on going into business, imo. They certainly won't protect black market operations.

mesa is retirement central
lots of republicans and anti weed types
even the older redneck pro weed types are shady, many voted dispensaries OUT of the town after the city and county licensed them (back in 2010 or so)
i know a couple of old timer growers out there in mesa county that voted teh dispensaries out, then when it passed and they all went out of biz the couple went around and bought up their equipment cheap and even took over the lease on one of the OPC locations and turned it into their personal grow - tragically hilarious

i did alright in mesa for a quick minute
if you are out far enough you should be fine, but keep it personal and always CYA, as always

Thanks for the kind response. Retirement central sounds good to me. We are several miles off any road and half a mile from any neighbors. I do have a goal of trying to grow enough to boost my pension. I can do 25 in my current spot indoors and hope to try 50 in a hoop house next spring there in Mesa.
I will check on that ditch rights issue we have been tied up getting a legal easement settled but now we are almost ready to start moving our summer camp there.
Since its so dry do you get mites or any strange borg critters,
We're used to the desert summers of So Wyoming so Mesa seems a good fit for us. Just never considered growing in Wyoming.
