Hey guys,

Sorry for rocking up in here so late into your thread but I've been searching around for a really delicious heavy hitter which maintains powerful euphoric properties. SourBubble BX3 sounds like the go and I've previously done Bogbubble and Lifesaver so I'm not ignorant as to how special BOG's substances are...

How does SourBubble BX3 compare to Lifesaver which I have some experiential reference on?

Hi ganabose;

Sour Bubble is BOG's heavy hitter, and his most medicinal strain. I have not tried his new Blue Kush yet, but I would expect Sour Bubble to be as potent as that. It is much more potent than BogBubble and Lifesaver, but those plants are very good IMO. Every different strain has its own merits, so it's all about what each individual perfers. I would continue to grow all 3 if possible, but when garden space is a premium, Sour Bubble must be given first choice.

BOG claims 32% THC levels from Sour Bubble. While I cannot confirm that, I can tell you when it is grown properly indoors under a 1kw lamp, it will develop these huge balls of resin, that when smoked, will leave a warm feeling in your head, and a very strong high.

As with any plant, you can control the level of high by when you harvest. I early harvested Sour Bubble several times, and it left me with a somewhat up high, and a little paranoia, and it took me a while to figure out it was the weed causing it. But when given a full 65+ days and color in the resin, this stuff can kick your butt.

I got into a habit at one time where I would get home from work, somke a bowl of Sour Bub, and have dinner while watching TV on the couch. Well several hours later I would look down and notice my dinner plate was still on my lap and I didnt even know it. It will make you very comfortable.

If you can get your hands on original BX3 you have found gold IMO.

Hearing all that sorta blows me away! I know how good BOG's work was, I had outstanding responses coming back at me and got to sit on some excellent stash for a while.
I did one particular project with Lifesaver and bred up around 500 or so big dark beans but wasted them all in one go on a dumb project that I won't go into. I still have a small stash of Bogbubble seed but I found these were performing quite slowly in veg and considered crossing them out but haven't...

The SourBubble BX3 sounds like some incredible gear. I've been looking around for something special for sometime and this might just be the one...

Already sourced 'em...I'll let you know how this turns out and thanx so much for your response...

The only place to get legitimate original BOG genetics and cuts from BOG himself would be the med clubs here in California. So if you live in Cali, just take your medical records down to a legitimate cannabis prescribing doctor (pay for one that will go with you to court if necessary), then get your state ID card. Find one of the med clubs here that BOG supplies and you are golden.

They usually are selling this shake material that has been sifted for kief, and when they see stuff like Sour Bubble buds, it's almost like they have discovered something entirely new. It just blows them away, and they go breaking it down and selling it for some rediculas amount of money. One of these guys rolled a blunt of Sour Bubble, and called me back and could not even speak, he was just laughing on the phone, but I know what he wanted. He wanted more!!!

Sour Bubble is a very special plant, and if you ever get a chance to sample it, you will know why I will keep it around for the rest of my life.

For one thing, it is a low yielder per plant, but with the right technique you can pull a kilo of top quality rock hard stash from a 1kw light, that will relieve pain, make you very comfortable, and allow you to think about things in a different light. The best of everything I like about weed.

It makes great hash, and the cannabutter will have you very well medicated. Most all phenos taste great and are extremely potent.

If I was to talk about some of the negatives, I would say they are very difficult to germinate, and are rather slow during the seedling stage, but after the first transplant, they take off and do very well. I usually get 1-3 great keeper females from every 10 seeds, just like most everything else out there.

I am trying right now to breed Sour Bubble plants that are branchy, and trying to eliminate bean pole plants and runts from showing up. Plants with lots of side branching allow many clones to be taken in a short period of time, thus increased overall yeild from a pack of seeds. The goal would be to get 30 good clones from a pack of seeds and pull near a kilo every flowering sequence under a 1kw lamp.

Thanks for the info. Care free. Pot is legal for me and I have smoked it all.. Unfortunately nothing works on me as my tolerance is way too high. I found this Trainwreck X Kush that works well my gro and personal fav, Hate the sleepy shit, and I did hear that Bubblegum X Trainwreck worked well for staying awake aswell.I belong to all the clubs here in BC so I can get all the strains but I'm still very picky and hard to please lol lol..Wondering if you have tried this Elephant bud from BC Bud yet? peace out Headband707

Too true....I also love the fact that when they do get it, they sell it like sham wow.....they turn into used car salesmen and try to sell just enough to buy another sak....

The locals here call it cat piss....and judge everything else by it. Luckily noone here but me and a few other people have it or they would be sifting it like sugar cookies and selling a watered down version of it and ruining it's name.....

Where is the sour diesel,f-2's or 3's???? Hey is Bubba kush or deep chunk even close? I've heard it can be. Hell my kush stank in flower like cat urine and coffee it just overpwered the house, curing was worse I could smell it outside.

I 've read so much about your strains but sadly I never got to try any, although I recently acquired a sour bubble BX 1 1IX clone from a generous guy that uses ICM, not your originali but I prey it's close, someday I'll hopefully get a chance to try all your strains but sadly Ireland isn't the best place in the world to get such genetics.

I have some quick questions abour your Lineage of your Sour Bubble and also I have been doing a lot of reasearch and I found out that a nice mix was Trainwreck and sour bubble have you tried that mix yet and would you know where to get that ?? Good to see you're hanging in there.

I have not heard from Southwind yet, and I am concerned. I hope he is lurking around watching, but no response yet.

The Sour Bubbles are about as good as I could expect, and even though the latest ones are seeded, it looks like they will weigh in at well over 4 oz's per plant easy in 5 gallon pots. Since they are just for seed, I did not go for the 15 gallon pots, which would greatly increase yield. The buds are rock hard and very frosty though, and smell incredible. They get watered 1-2 times a day, which tells me they could use the extra root space.

This winter indoors I will give them the royal treatment and see what they can do without being seeded. The current ones look full of seeds, so it's just a matter of time before I should have enough seeds to set me up for life. And that is just the beginning of things to come, as long as things stay on track. Never know what life can throw at you though.

I would day it is the equal in another variation with a bit more of the old gold taste and a bit less of the dank dark green. The high is more soaring and medical for the body but the high isnt better or stronger. A prime example of either is off the charts IMHO. I think my Blue Kush is a real winner and a lot more seeds are in the process now as the testers have been working for the year now and they also exceeded my expectations. BOG

1 male will be crossed from each.

Ive got 2 different phenos from the sour bubble.

I just harvested my Sour Bubble BX3 x BX4 plants just before I left, and they were fully seeded. They turned out very well, and the seeds are very dark and stripped. Now the hard part begins. Waiting for them to dry so I can germ test them.
