Nevilles Haze X Everything....

Yeah, I used to have this great chart on another site that had boxes with the old strain names and what they bred with to make what.Early Girl was a Cali outdoor strain(late 70's) maybe a cut I'm not sure and crossed to Pollyanna, an early Mexican and made Early Pearl. All Sams plants I believe.I smoked that little bud up there^^ yesterday morning, what a great smoke for 5 days dry!! I was ripped up for sure but not down, very happy with that sample...I mostly just leave my plants whole or in parts in a dark room for a month or so, sometimes I dry it out, then I let it go up in RH for a few then down again.I try to keep it at 50% RH but 60 is alright for a longer time.
Supersilver that's a whole load of troubles!! It couldn't have rained much more in a month than it has where I'm at in the NE, I'm sure that didn't help the roof.My roof is good, my floor is terrible...I wish this could be a friendlier sport but sometimes it ends up a football match and people end up jealous over the dumbest things, I have friends who grow around here but only one is reliable the rest are welfare cases I keep at arms length, they only show up when Verizon's going to take the cellphone and run with an oz, then I'll see them in a yr or so.I know some real losers, damme I sure do!!!:tumbleweed:

These are some Sour BX's I had in my re-hab room, they're coming around a bit now. This is the worst of the lot, esp compared to the others I'm running.I pulled them out moving things around a bit.I cut back the Digitals and the Golden Goats and gave them a 430 son agro for a bit. Those will be huge but these BX's I can flip early and end up with a giant cola, I have so many I had to flip a few.:)

G-man, let me tell ya' that EP rips me up!! I had the impression it was daytime smoke but daytime + black coffee:).I had a notebook covered with little buds I'd thrown on when I trimmed a bit last week.I turned the lamps off and hung the whole plant to dry with the dehum humming. Those buds on the notebook were ready to burn so I've been smoking some in the mornings, even 6 days dry it's very tastefull and burns great( silicone!)There's going to be a nice pile of that for the summer...It took me about 2 days of cutting a branch here and there before I realized the trimming isn't very important, the whole thing is covered with that sticky resin. When she's dry I'll just pull the leaves with my fingers and she'll be done. I made some seeds with the Mullum Super 5 male. The females of that one are pretty strong so should be pretty good.:)

This is my recovery room, where I've been throwing all the seedlings that need to find themselves or add to the compost.I put a 600 and a 250 on the ceiling about 4-5 ft away from the seedlings and some real losers started to take off nicely, esp the Chem D/Topangas which I thought were a loss but now they're starting to crank! The Topangas are all in the upper right, about 20 or so.:)

Glad you enjoy slip.... an yes very easy to trim with all the res on the leaves. think you can see why shes been in rotation 6-7yrs. people always ask for it, besides one dude who gets heart palpitations from it. its def a plant that always is great no matter how bad the flower conditions where or how you fucked up. then theres always a few ep plants of a group of eps that step above an beyond the others. You should see her in hydro with c02, forget about it....... speaking of hydro, know i saw you said somewhere u setup some top drip coco. you should realllyyyyy should consider running a small area of top drip buckets recirculating 24/7 in hydroton. as a test. im betting you will be beside yourself. your nute feed an ph are already where you need to be!!! enjoying the thread as always ... b-safe

Oh no G-man, I hope I didn't mislead ya', I've done that for as long as I've been growing, top drip rocks then I found coco.My only issues recently have been running rooms with perpetual rotation where the plants are using diff mixes so the hand watering is good for me plus it keeps me on my toes.I notice things when I'm up close doing a handwatering. My top drip coco run is going insane, I may break an all time show record...the plant grew me out of the room so I have to make a special time to go in and check on her!:)....I absolutely believe somebody has heart palpitations from the EP, it's not an indy high either.:blowbubbles:

Early Girl

Early Girl

I'm still unclear about the origins of Early Girl. Does Early Girl have the same Mexican in it as Polyanna?

I once smoked some Early Girl bud from a friend, and I liked it very much. It is one of the few buds that I ever wanted to purchase even though I had plenty of grass for myself. It was a very rare indica dominant strain that was "relaxing" without being narcotic. I was very calm and lose, but my mind was euphoric and soaring.

I was given some seeds from it, but the buds I grew from them felt like regular indica, too narcotic for my tastes. I wish I had the Mexican strain that was the parent to Early Girl.

Thanks,

ThaiBliss

High ThaiB,
I posted the response from Nevil on the "origins Early Pearl" in this thread a little while ago.

Thanks Raho. I appreciate it.

It looks like Early Girl was made with one Mexican strain, the crossed with another Mexican to make Early Pearl.

My Early Girl x Haze is also Early Girl sativatized further. I hope they sprout. I want to do one more grow before I get to those.

Peace,

ThaiBliss

Yeah,
Nev said Krazy Karol was a Mex.
I never did any digging to get to the bottom of what Pollyanna was . . . till now :)
http://en.**********.eu/strain-info/Pollypak/The_Seed_Bank/
The description of this Polly Paki hybrid sounds like Nevil's writing. Probably the direct text of the old catalog description.
This is an early F1 hybrid, bred especially for those growers who appreciate the sweet aromas and up high of a quality Sativa. It is a cross between Pollyanna, a Mexican-derived strain, and the best Pakistani Sativa that I could find. A very resinous, consistently sweet performer, recommended for outdoor growing.

Then I found this from Sensi . . .
http://en.**********.eu/strain-info/Early_Pearl/Sensi_Seeds/

Sensi came after the seed bank of course, and it seems to me the descriptions in the Sensi catalog are a little more free with the creative license than the old Seed Bank catalog.

Sensi’s three Early strains were developed and released in the mid Eighties to give cool-climate growers access to the three most important groups of psychoactive cannabis:
Early Skunk, Indica-dominant Early Girl, and Early Pearl to represent the Sativa side of the family.

Each of those groundbreaking hybrids has its own advantages, and we would hesitate to choose an absolute favourite. If a choice had to be made, Early Pearl is a very strong contender, as she has the yield and solidity of an Indica, the dazzling high of a Sativa and a vibrant, unstoppable zest for life that’s all her own. Furthermore, the Early Pearl line has proven to be first-class breeding-stock, perfect for adding toughness and stability to other hybrids.

I know I want to smoke it, thats for sure ;-)

Edited to add: seems I linked to a forbidden site.
Please let me know if I should delete the broken URLs.

Love the Sensi Seeds description!:) The only trouble I'm having is calling it EG instead of EP...and my memory is a bit foggy, thank goodness.:blowbubbles:

I spoke to Nevil for awhile tonight. Hes having fun. Hes doing ok. Hes working.

We found a rare male he is interested in. One seed in 25 lbs of prime Humboldt Kush, that did something special. Unheard of in that strain....

I do have a large Nevilles Haze/ Mullim Madness x unknown dad going back by the orchard. Ill snap a pick for you guys later. It was a volunteer. Sweet huh?

I started trimming out the dried EP yesterday and this is how she came out.I'm really interested to see how this mixes with the Nevs X Early Mullum and the Mullum Super 5 dads I used to make seeds.I have about 6, 10" branches, 3 with each father. These flowers are dense and heavy, you could almost fit an oz into a large Starbucks coffee cup, the reg paper unit.:)

Summer run

Summer run

These are 3 Sour BX's (ECSD X Nevilles) X ECSD I threw into flower a bit early with several others to make space in the veg room and to keep the ball rolling as there was some unused space in one of my flower spots. These three have been squeezed between 2 bare vert 600's.They started about 12" away and yesterday I had to move them down a bit. This is day 15 of 12/12 and they've stretched roughly 2.5X in that time..All 3 are female.Last run of these I did the same thing but had 4 in one 3gal bucket that I flowered at 2 weeks old just for kicks and they ended up really nice.

Here I have some recently transplanted Dope Show's (Chem D X Topanga) still in veg. Most of them look similar to these, crazy fat ass leaves and wide stalks.I'm crossing my fingers for these as the seeds were an accident:).They started off growing a little weird but have picked up the pace and started looking more normal as they go past the 3 week old mark.I have quite a few of these ready for takeoff...:tiphat:

Hey Doc, really enjoying your posts.
The Nev21 seems eager to drop her seeds at the slightest touch. No surprise to me that she's the one that spawned a volunteer.
I have a couple of 21eMM volunteer sprouts growing in dry pots of coco in my dark flower room.
Tough girls :)
Seriously though, Nev's seeds drop freely out of the buds more than anything I've grown before.
Slip Kid has seen the same behavior in his keeper Nev cut.

Slip,
Looks like the interior decorator visited your Op and added a splash of color with that wallpaper :) I hope ou can feel improvements in the Feng Shui . . .

Seriously though, those plants look wicked. I see the OG in some of those fat bottom fan leaves.
Can you pick any smells from them yet, given the general dankness permeating every surface of the room?

Just thinking about that cross makes me want to pre-heat the germ mat.

I won't jinx it by making predictions, but . . . dude
:woohoo:
