Yeah right!! HaHa... I'm going to do another rockwool run this winter with about 30 or 40 sours but I have a long way to go as I just cut down my mom and filled the cloner. Did find that I had about 30 valley BX3 seeds left so I germed half and they're in rockwool cubes as I speak. Not sure why I thought I'd used all of them but then again a stoners mind can be tough to taste/test... Hell of storm last night, damn.:)

This is one of the smelliest plants I have. She smells like strong white grapes or some variation of white wine and smokes fabulous.I'm always finding some of the best plants in poly hybrids, seeds with so much variation that no two look alike. I used to go for the opposite where I'd find a similar batch of plants from 10 seeds or so.

What is she?
Looks nice and frosty, and a breeze to trim ;-)

Yeah I have two of these cuts from the same batch of seeds which was LIOS BX x Skunk Basic 5, I think...:) I'd love to see what that GROM is all about, not sure I've heard of it. Right now I'm just starting a bunch of seeds for my winter runs and hope for the best. I have so much in my seed fridge from Seed Boutique and friends etc I really can't go wrong. Couldn't be more pleased with these Valley BX3's, it was an unexpected bonus. Would love to make some crosses with the sour and move them on to seedbay for an affordable price but I'm hesitant, low self esteem!!:tiphat:
I'll try and grab a pic of the big fat Nevs Blue x Lucy I have ripening up as soon as my lamps go out. It's such a great combo of both and looks like if I ran a big one it would yield like crazy.:) It took until about day 50 before I could smell the Lucy in her. I'll be back later with a decent pic I hope. This whole thing is a sort of community project, so many people here have helped me out it's crazy. Would never have been able to do this locally with no forum with like minded fellows.;-)

Nevs Blueberry x Lucy up top and Nevs Blueberry x Sour Grape on the bottom. There's about 7 or 8 different plants from seed finishing right now and they all turned out interesting. Pretty happy about it!:) Luckily I didn't lose power yesterday but the lights were flickering for a few hours. It was a hell of a storm we had there...:tiphat: I haven't seen my boat flying on its mooring like that in years but she held.

I had to put up one of the younger Valley BX3's. Been pushing the nutes in a rockwool slab as you can see but sometimes you have to push or you'll be dragged through life. Just on a super stoked Orange Kush buzz here so pay no mind, in 2 hrs I'll be asleep...:) There's something in that OK that puts everybody to sleep. She only tests at 17% with a low terp profile yet she's one of my best clone onlys. Wierd when I saw the test because the smoke is so good but the test was so bad, can't figure it.:)

This is the older BX3 in a 3" rw cube on top of a 6" hugo block set on top of hydrocorn. Two weeks ago I wouldn't have believed they would reach this size but with watering 6-8 x/day she's just blown up way out of proportion. Very interesting to me and it's given my interest in growing a new vigor which was on the wane after a long summer of running mostly cuts etc. I'm fairly sure this is day 62 or 63 of 12/12.

This old bathroom which had been my veg room for years and years has always been one of those spots where everything always did well. The place was a hell hole when I bought it so the damage I've done to the 20' x 15' building has been minor. I always say, one of these days I'm going to just remodel the place to suit my needs better but I can't stop growing for long enough to do it. The outside has been done so it's a pretty tight spot but the floors could use some help.
I should be taking this room down sometime this week. Everything seems to be just about done. Couldn't be happier with how she's going. To me my shop is like my boat out of water so it's a she...
" Things of beauty, grace and speed are often referred to as female" to quote the Alfalfa from "The Little Rascals" .At the bottom out of sight is Head's G-13/Diesel I pollinated with Valley BX3.

Hey Scrappy, how's that Sister going? I still can't for the life of me figure out how you pulled a sister from my shop. I knew she was in there somewhere but I have so many plants I take from my friends veg labeled "IDK" or "I don't know". Picked that term from a cut a friend gave me labeled "DK" which stood for something else but I assumed it meant "I don't know" as it's origins were unknown.
Was wondering if she'd turned into a cheese on you yet...:tiphat:

Oh no she's most definitely the sister! As much as I was curious about that cheese it was a nice surprise.. Been daydreaming a lot about her the last few months so was meant to be heh. Just recently picked up sour dubble as well, so I'm thinking I'll go for a family reunion, throw my glue in the mix and have a lil menage party once I get some of that silver stuff. You're having so much fun over there chuckin pollen it's got me inspired.

My favorite plant of all time came out of a mistake you made with Chem D and Sis. Seeds were made by Zoolander, and labeled as Chem D x NL. Many years later, we found out it was in fact Chem Sis x NL. Irony.

I have to say Sis is my favorite chem. The Va a close second. Enjoy her, Scrappy! I have some Sis x Digi Bx1 seeds that MeltingPot made for me a couple years back on deck.

That's super interesting Frank. I do recall when JW and Zoolander were working together and they helped me out with some seeds from Elite that turned out to be really good. The best seeds come in the worst packages, never buy from the picture unless it's somebody you know and trust. I would much prefer 6 seeds wrapped in a a cig wrapper than 12 for $100 or even $200 in a fancy pkg with a great pic of the plants that are not in that pkg. Hate to be cynical but the "industry" is jammed with fraudulent fellers.
Buying from overseas I stick with SB or Seedbay. Here locally I stick with myself or friends who I know are not chock full of ulterior motives. One guy I know gave me a pile of older stock SSH F2's made from Shanti's original stock. Those I trust along with the many passers by that stop by my shop every week from all over. I have yet to meet a bad apple from IC but there are barrels full of them around locally. It's rather unwise to trust anybody in my locality, they all turn out to be fraudulent in one way or another.
My apologies for the essay but once I start rolling there's almost no stopping me and when it comes to green rushers I'll go on until the server blows.
Hate to make a long post without a pic so here's my sour d win/fail combo with the win part showing. I'll post the fail part later...;-)

So the ugly side of my sour d in the slabs. The pic is terrible but you'll get the idea. I managed to bring up some thrips from the veg but there weren't many so I hit it with spinosad pronto but they came back etc. I will say though, despite the messy look the flowers started throwing a loud smell early which is sort of abnormal for this sour. Things could have been worse! Been defoliating all the ugly leaves I can find but there's still tons of great flowers scattered throughout.
Learned my lesson with the thrips though. Normally I would have been more proactive but my mind must have been elsewhere.

Dude I had totally forgotten about that Sour BX2 seed I had put outside. Went out in the backyard yesterday and the fucker was still alive and kicking! Albeit tiny and barely out of the seedling stage but alive all the same. No water, no nutrients, nothing but coco in a 16oz hempy. Tough little shit that's for sure.

I've seen some interesting things with cannabis plants over the years in cold weather. These Spanish guys I knew used to leave their plants out through the whole of October until they were dead and then go harvest, multiple guerrilla plots etc. Some reason or other we could never quite manage to "get along" even though I would see them quite often and discuss weed. Regardless I've seen some of their plants handle a light snow with 25 F but the end product didn't cut it.
The hell hole! I have crazy luck in my new veg. Thought for sure it would be a disaster but much to the contrary. I've been planting rooted clones all morning and no end in sight...:)
