Nevilles Haze X Everything....

Heck it was 50 degrees last night. It might have dropped to the 40's a few times but not a sign of frost yet.

My main problem at the moment is fkn root aphids. Little fuckers snuck in a bag of coco from the hydro store and we are now at war. Using Met-52 g, and Met-52 EC to regain control of the garden.

They didn't hit the flower room too bad but decimated my veg tent to the point where I am going to just flower out this Sativa room then start over from seed again. But doesn't make sense to pop more until I can eradicate these bitches.

I have dealt with gnats, mites, but this is a new one for me.

Those are bad dude. I've seen people have trouble with them for a year or more. Same issue, suspected to have come in a bale of pro-mix from the shady warehouse in Warwick. He ended up wrapping the pots in paint straining bags because even in a fresh cleaned room they were coming back.
This run the thrips nailed my sour d so I may cut them early. Not my style but in the bigger picture I'm better of just cleaning house and calling it a hash day. The bugs are becoming stronger as we continue to fight them and continue trading all the time like I do. Normally the spinosad would have crushed them but I either made a mistake or they're a bit tougher, not sure. They didn't spread to the rest of the room though.
Pulled some trophy colas from the valley BX3's today. Hopefully I can grab a decent pic. I very rarely impress myself at this stage in my growing career. It's like being stuck at Uluwatu or Padang Padang with no crowds for months and you find yourself "jaded". We used to call it that when you'd had too much of the exact thing you had been dreaming of your whole life...:)

This isn't a Nevilles Haze cross, but this a cross I did after Nevil told me to get some Mango Haze seeds. He said that was a very special pheno.

This is LA Confidential Pollenated by a Mango Haze male.

This is all I managed yesterday before my batteries died out....The camera will stay on but not for long. Will do much better when things are dry. With everything coming down and the climate changing outside/inside my hands are quite full. I'll run up and grab some AAA's when the shop opens, I have this dried Nevs Blueberry x Lucy that might give me a pic in daylight, outside the shop.
These are taken on the fly but the flowers finally have the kind of smell I've been looking for in the Valley stuff, plus a bit more bulk.

Paint straining bag that's a great idea! I've been looking for a fine mesh type bag to lock out these damn fungus gnats that seem invincible. Been using women's stockings on all my small pots and was gonna go with plus size panty hose for the larger ones but this sounds like a better option.

botanigaurd 22wp . it will destroy any root aphids thrips fungus knats springtails mites white flys an more. its a fungi that gets on any insect an starts to grow from the inside out. takes a few days to start but within 10 days its disastrous. they pass it to each other like the plague .once its established there will be no host.stays dormant in the medium for weeks after application.

ya pretty crazy right. if you use a hydro system heres a link to application instructions. you have to apply more often as the bacteria doesnt do to good in constantly submerged applications.

since mid summer i noticed a black ant population in my garage. ive used 3 different ant traps/bait. they still are present. the other day i noticed 5-6 of them fell into one of my buckets. bucket was once used for frosting or doughnut filling. the buckets still smell sweet.

i took a teaspoon of the botanigaurd and put it in the bucket, swirled it around with the ants then released the ants near the base of the garage. the frosted covered f'ers scattered. i thought yess, bring that home to the nest....

will see

I heard you saying that in a super villain voice :)

Thanks for the info brother.

BTW a lot of times, those black ants are a sign you have some wood dry-rotting somewhere. If you follow them, they are probably making a trail right to it.

To me they are. When I used the BX2 males on my sour d I had incredible results, so with these having the proper odor I think I can hit the sour again and knock it out of my little field. The yield was also significant for what looked like a straight OG.The first small branch of seeds I made this round with the sour d & the BX3 male has ripe seeds popping out so I'll have a chance to test them this winter. I would like to make seeds that had 9 out of 10 plants be awesome.
The Nevs Blueberry x Lucy's are fabulous, so far 2 OG types & 1 haze hybrid type with potentially huge yields. I have a mom of the fat, donkey dick one I'm flipping today @ 4' where the cut I flipped @ 1'. It's going to be massive.:)

Headband, Headbanger, Coastal Collision, and now ECSD x Valley BX.
Seems OG kush males are the best way to get great diesel offspring from ECSD.
Can't wait to see it!

I read that awhile back in one of the diesel threads about the same time my first sour d x valley BX2's were lighting up. Most other plants you cross to that sour will turn out crazy plants not much like sour but a dominant OG male is almost a guarantee of good plants. I soaked one of the seeds I pulled from a sour branch yesterday that was 2 weeks dry so one on the way I hope... Still no batteries for my camera but not much for a picture either, everything's hanging. I did give out some oz's of the first valley BX3 female and had some solid reviews so I'm stoked on that.:)
The cold came down like a hurricane 2 days ago. The place turned to winter in a few hours and the wind was blowing up every crack. I should have thrown an extra heater in the shop, it's 56F in there now but 72 in the one flower room. Going to have to run a humidifier for a day or two, the RH out there is like Colorado_One way or another I'm caught with my pants down when those first cold blasts show up.

Going through some older pics in my albums looking for Frank's CB x Digi but couldn't find them yet. I found this old one though of a typical sour BX1. I found a bunch of good plants in these seeds and more than a few I should have kept a cut but sometimes I'm running on the fly and forget... This was a nice one from May of 2015. These all had to be topped or you'd have a cola that was far to big. I saw some pics of some of these run outdoors in Hawaii, looked outstanding when they were 9' tall.:tiphat:
