Neptune's Breakdown

N

Neptune

mornin' folks!!

NPK, The CARE POG I have is quite PM resistant, but it gets the budrot like nothing else I have ever seen. Have to be very careful around day 50 and on.... I break open the colas by hand to let them breathe, and I crank the dehumidifiers 24/7 which is very spendy... but if it saves me 2 ounces it's worth it. The SR71 Hindu Skunk may have this problem too, so I'll keep an eye on them! They looking like they will want to make some big bats!

Funkbomb, hella yeah man.... steelpulse blew the place up!! also saw Anthony B, Sly, Robbie and the Taxi gang, All the marley sons Ziggy, Damien, Stephen... Heavyweight dub champions to name a few headliners... but there were tons of great shows.

krome, you won't regret it man!! Come on out to humboldt next august!

dedhedfred, that's what I'm talking about.. yeah! those things rock... they make perfect clean holes of desired size, a standard "GH" grommet will seal it with no leaks, 100%. But, silicone does the trick and is some reinforcement to sleep easy...

hydrojunkie, i'm flooding the E&G 3x a day. sunup, middle day, and hour before sundown(lights off). I am using a DIY controller which has no positive feedback, it is direct drive if you understand that.. in other words, it's 2 pumps each on a timer. the Fill pump runs for 3 minutes then shuts off, I timed this painsteakingly. The water chills in the buckets for 2 minutes, then the Drain pump runs for 10 minutes(overkill on purpose) back to the reservoir. I quit watering by hand after my first 2 crops, I was working way too hard -- spending hours per week in my room with a bucket, spalshing water/nutrient everywhere...I learned the power of the water pump pretty quick. I still handwater any organic crops I do(verticle), but a few plants vs. a whole room is managable!

thanks slips ;)

ohheythere VT! Yeah man, I will dial in the verticle next round. This was just extra mother plants that were too big to throw away, but I will probably monocrop the verticle next time with vertically vegged plants... ken's Granddaddy is up next... see if I can eek out a pound! The nexus is 65 days. It is some fire man... I have had it curing for 6 weeks now and I brought 2 jars to reggae, it was well recieved by friends and rastas alike. I gotta have sativa at a party!! Blessed are the people who live up in them hills... :rasta:

31 Days

31 Days

Just flushed all the medium, and changed all the reservoirs. Takes about 3-4 hours to do all 3 reservoirs, I do this every 14-17 days.

Snapped some pics while waiting for water to drain...

Here's the Verticle. I maintain my previous coments, Verticle plants would be better off vegged vertically... as you can see, the nugs are struggling to form colas and the plants dont know where the light is, they are slightly confused.

The E&G is doing it's magik. Very easy system to maintenence.

And here are some closeup shots of the E&G plants:

Black Widow, extremely low odor plant. almost nothing when rubbed and smelled, slight stank... not sweet, not hashy, not skunky... something like sweat, or old socks. The nugs are the most dense in the garden, however.

Your doing em right. Love how healthy you keep those plants. And you do it in multiple setups simultaneously. Definetly dialed.

I did a vertical 1000w bare bulb setup for awhile. Vegged em vertically got em real big and then flowered. I was doing bushes/minitrees. That style was working all right for me when I was using bigger strains, but then I switched to all PK and made the mistake of not switching the growing style and ended up with a horrible harvest. The PKs are no good for a vertical setup cuz it takes forever to make em big bushes.

Your gonna like those PKs looks like you have some nice tops.

The hindu is looking nice and frosty. How does she smell? I've got some that are in early flower. How much do you recommend pruning off the bottom of the hindu? My hindu table is getting totally overgrown.

Which do you like better so far the tables or the E+G buckets?

Brain, Berk, Star, Mr. Green, Dimebag, TMB!!
Thank you guys for the kind words, it's really coming together finally!!

When we gona get to see your purple tables S44vy!! I'd love to see that! I'm in gear to run the Granddaddy to the max next crop, as I will be taking a long vacation at the beginning and need a nice stable predictable strain to roll on cruise control. Something that won't stretch into the lights and start a fire. lol

Meduser, indeed the Hindu Skunk is a heavy lady, and sure is frosty. A Nice change of pace for me for sure..I am glad to have selected her from SR71. I still prefer my Pot of Gold (TFD Skunk No.1 x Hindu Kush) to the SR71 strain though. The TFD(CARE) version is just overwhelming in the sticky smelly resin department. But I am actually thinking of Retiring both of them for a while, I have many other strains to work through these days. I will also not be growing the B Widow again, It's great erb and I will judge it when it's all said and done, but I have better things available to me.. plus, it dosn't have much smell, and isn't sticky. It's very "dry" herb if you know what I mean... but like I said, waiting till the end to ditch the mother.

And here's some hash pics for those of you who don't check on the Hashish forums.. :bashhead:

Been working the 20 gallon Bubblebag set, got a good haul. 140g total
12 rinse cycles over 2 days with a year's worth of trim... glad I got rid of that shit!!

Sup nep. I'll try to get some pics of my stuff soon. My guy up there has been f*ckin up so they don't look all that great right now...

On the topic of the sr71 hk. Loving that plant right now. I do cut's in my spare time and after i strip 50 cuts from a mom, i can take another 50 in about a week. Got the BW and WW in there too but they're on their last run with me. Gonna just have hk's and pk's for a while.

What was the stretch like on the hk? More than double?

BDSSH isn't a bubba kush cross. it's called that because a user named Bubba Dutch passed it around. It's a special fruity, heavy yielding, fast pheno of Super Silver Haze.

Damn Neptune, that pk is looking frosty as hell. Looking stellar over there as usual. Keep it up. Can't wait to see what you're working with next. Your setups are some of the best around for sure. Best of luck with the rest of your grow.

Holy Shit Batman........5 ozs. of free hash..........You`re my new hero Neptune........And look at all the different flavors of the month .......You`re sure lookin super dialed in for 31 days my buddy........Sorry bout yer confused virgins over there under my "fav" kinda lights but yeah yer right .....They shoulda started out with the bare bulbs to adapt in veg and sprout limbs instead of multiple budsites everywhere before and after bein flipped to 12/12.....But hey...They look killer so all`s not lost.......keep up the good work Neptune.....This might be a personal best for the rest of the room huh?.... :headbange .......Oh btw....The trick to run to waste coco buckets if you`re frugal and eco concious like you and I are is to dump to a seperate rez with circulating pump for dissolved oxygen(go look at keepalive.net), readjust nutes and ph with r/o water, and then add back as needed........Kinda like a reserve rez in waiting ya know?...Works for my tight ass anyways......Just make sure to use inline filters in front of the pump to catch all the runoff crap and be sure to keep filters cleaned out.......Saves bigtime on nutes.....Peace.....DHF....... :joint:

Those plants look extremely green for running Lucas formula at 700-800ppm, adding anything els like C/Mag ?

On the E&G side your using the Flora Bloom as a stand alone too ?

Are those HK's going to blow up as big as the Dutchman's POG , or should i go ahead and order some of those seeds too ?

great show tx

S4vvy, yeah man.. of all the new cuts I have in bloom the SR71 Hindu Skunk is some top shit. It's dank as hell... Easily yeilding like the BDSSH by her looks, I see some 3oz plants already. Also, the BDSSH is coming through for me better this crop... she smells way way way more profound right now than last Rockwool crop. Thanks -VT- !!

Krome, thanks again my friend. you may see this bdssh soon enough, she is always stealing the show lately. The high really affects me in a great way, very positive vibrations.

Dedhed, I have been working out a few things and found some better ways to make the bubble now. I have a better technique for beating it up, and sourced some better ice... friend of mine just ran his bags for 9 runs in one day, and she said they will still pulling large chunks from the bags.. but had to quit bcuz the sun don't shine past 8pm :)

Terran, GH Lucas formula has never let me down in any way, I am aware that some people have CA/MG def at times, this has not happened to me but I would think a simple solution is to just change your ratio(more micro), or else add calmag... The Floranova is standalone in the EbbGrow, I use no other additives besides hydrogaurd and Fulvic acid throughout this crop. NO "BLOOM BOOSTERS" need apply. I would however, like to find a way to use some molasses someday.. but just another thing I don't want to **** with currently. the HKSK is a badass heavy yeilding strain, and so far is equal to my POG, just different. I am probably retiring my POG as I will be working with other strains in the future... sad day, but I gots to move on to the next good flavor ;)

**** this ****ing badword filter

**** it

what the **** is this shit!!! censoring my free ****ing speach mother ****ers
