Syd- that has big leaves like my NJ. Nice and healthy. Any idea on the lean of mine? Mother nature has been on point with watering. Maybe too much.

Hey BgC!I'm not experienced with nep jam,but if you check the first pages of this thread I think you can find pics of the parental plants. The broader the leaf, the closer to nepal side .Of course this is a F6-F7 hybrid so there is a big recombination and stabilization of traits,so I would just say wait for Dubi :biggrin:I think mine looks very much alike the nep jam but with more branching/vigour.

New purple Nepal Jam fem hybrids

New purple Nepal Jam fem hybrids

The new Nepal Jam fem hybrids produced last year are showing nice results this season in the light deps, they were produced by reversing a rare, colorful and very fast flowering F6 nepalese pheno with great terpene quality and very pleasant and positive effect.

Purple Zam x Nep Jam(clone).Transplanted a few days ago from the 2 lt pot she was for a looong time to control size into a 7 ltMight have to finish there,we'll see how that goes.Have pruned her quite a bit ,too.
I have forgotten to mention that the mother(which was harvested prematurely to avoid reveg ) had a very clear but good hit that is getting better with the cure. There's not much left though...

Hi phoenix108,

Guess your Nepal Jam started to flower based on your description, quite fast for such northern latitude! But since i have not seen pics to confirm it guess you will be able to know it better now a few weeks later. Hopefully anticipating an early harvest before it gets too cold there, please keep us updated!

Hi Bluegrass Crab,

Thanks for sharing pics of your outdoor Nepal Jam.
If i may ask, what's your latitude ?

Since you only bought one seed guess you are growing the feminized version, the purpling and wide leaf pattern of your plant is a sign that she is closely related to the Purple Nepal Jam F6 mother i've been using lately for breeding Nepal Jam and latest Nepal Jam hybrids. Looks like she is 2-3 weeks into flowering in your lastest update. Best wishes for the rest of the flowering! :)

Hi Syd :)

Thanks for sharing pics of the new Nepal jam hybrids we have recently produced, hope they have survived to the nasty broad/russet mite attack.

The Orient Express x Nepal Jam is well known for such impressive lush growth.

You are right, the Zamaldelica x Nepal Jam hybrid grows mainly with a Nepal Jam structure, but branchier thanks to Zamaldelica influence. We have not been very successful testing this new hybrid this season, seems it didn't like the extreme heat with strong temp variations and dry conditions of our field, guess it prefers more stable and uniform warm temps and wetter conditions.
Hope you can bring her to a good end so we can learn more about it.

On the other hand, the Zamal x Nepal Jam hybrid we have tested in the light deps this season has worked great, great blend of traits and lots of potential in this hybrid .... it grows almost like a tropical sativa as you are experiencing, with very thin leaves and stems, delicate look and extreme branching typical of Zamal dominant hybrids, but thanks to Nepal Jam influence it flowered much faster, yet keeps almost a fully 100% tropical sativa vibe .... it's also very pest and mold resistant, excited to test her now that is harvested .... will post more pics and detailed info once we give her a try in the smoking tests, but i have the feeling she will be released next year as limited edition ;)

Good luck and best wishes friend! :tiphat:

39. I saw pistols the end of July. I grew BH last year and liked it very much. Vigorous, strong structure, mold resistant and good yield. (As advertised.) Just trying something else this year.

I have not watered this one at all due to all the rain. I have fertilized, but it looks like it may have wanted more. Stalk is very strong. Put into a 10 gallon hole of mixed soil in mother earth.
