On a good note, the female Nepal stem rub is reeking of eucalyptus.

I wonder if that might be a precursor to maybe the citric side pheno or the strawberry side?

Plant stem rub never exactly translates to the smell and taste of the flower terpenes later on.

Figured as much, but always hopeful 🤣🤣. I’ve just never smelled a stem rub like this before. Clears up the sinuses well. Lol

Little update on my solo nepal. I took a tester branch off because it was resting on one of my honduras top buds and didn’t want the humidity. Let it hang dry and gave it a test through a vape. It’s currently at 7 wks and a few days. Just to give a idea what it will be like when finished.

Aroma reminds me of my beatrix choice x black domina I had a few years back. While on the plant reminds me of trix cereal with a hint of herb plants.

Dry the smell is similar still but less cereal like and more berry like with mountain herbs.

Taste is like a mix of what you would describe is somewhat minty but not and not exactly what eucalyptus smells like either. (Stem rub in veg was straight eucalyptus like.) so I would just say an herb like taste and a raspberry or berry like with a hint of citrus on the end.

High about 1g shared with you the gf. The high makes me feel spiritually feel good like just happy in my consciousness and a blissful smiley feel. Very relaxed in the body, meditative, slightly dumbing in the mind. Not stupid but more like now what was I doing again? Feel.

Surprisingly felt like a light indica to be honest. But I would say that’s the berry terps because that’s what some berry like indicas I’ve had feel like. So more commenting on the specific terpene profile feel.

Can’t wait to see the finished product and how it cures. I am curious how this will pair with a purple homduras, or a woody sweet ethiopian. Might even make a good relaxing mix with the China yunnan.

I’ll go through the other pack I got from dubi next year after I have ran and picked through a China yunnan run/seed run. I do have a male sitting on the side that I’ll hold
On to as well. Seems like a special feel good line.

Was checking out my Nepal today, the pistils have been brown for a bit now. No new ones that I can see. Decided to check the trichomes and I’m looking at mostly milky and you can just start to see some of them get the beginning hint of them turning to amber. I’m at 9wks 1 days of flowering. Seems to be pretty quick for the description. I didn’t see dubi mention anything about 11/13 light schedule or anything. So with my 10/14 light schedule I feel like I knocked of a 7-14 days on the flowering time possibly on a 12weeker. I also took a small tester off to dry. 😊

Glad to hear you are that @Sensistar42 please share some pics now she is ripening so we can take a look to the genetics.
I did take pictures a few days ago, there on my camera I need to get transferred over. Not the greatest because it’s a bit of a jungle in there right now 🤣🤣🤣 but a ok ideas of how it looks. I’ll grab up more as I take it down as well. I think it’s about 6 1/2ft tall with only 4 1/2 ft of vertical room 🤣🤣 but I feel like she will handle training just fine the next time around.

Took a few more pics of the nepal yesterday at 11 weeks and one day. Trichomes as a whole visibly on the plant are making it look silvery and the I see 10% -15% amber with the loop. I will most likely take it tomorrow because it’s looking done and I believe the lights are just starting to fry it being so close. Amber from possible heat harm, but looks far more done then the honduras and ethiopian. After chop I will take a picture with a microscope and put it up as well. I believe it’s a good 12-12 1/2. Pheno but at 10/14 light schedule I think it took a week or so off.

My nose is still stuffy but smells more of chocolate, wood, bit of floral on the end. I’m assuming hashish smell is a chocolate tootsie roll like smell I think. Had a small sample yesterday and the effect was very soulfully happy, but I sensed a lot of neck, shoulder and head pain relief/numbness. I like it very much I hope the cure goes well and makes a good pain relief/relaxing plant that me and my gf can use for headaches but can still go out about our day.

Pics will be posted when I can get them off of the camera. Adhd and executive disfunction I have trouble getting the easiest things done. 🤣🤣

Nepal at week 9. Side branch next to a honduras bud. And in the back is the top that wrapped around the whole tent. Massive stretch. 🤣

She really produced decent sized and dense buds of big calyxes and good resins for such wild type indoors @Sensistar42 :) well done, enjoy!

Hi everyone,
I want to share my experience with growing Nepal Mist x Nepal Annapurna in 50ºN.
I planted it a month later (May 1st) than Nepal Jam and Zamaldelica x Kali China and Green Mountain Grape. But in the end it outgrew all of them in growth.
It grows really fast, it's fast like formula one ;-)
Really, so far, it's probably my fastest growing flower.
It's not at all demanding on fertilization and water.
It has really good branching and beautiful thin sativa leaves.
The stems smell of strawberry and hashish when crushed.
The stems are also partially reddish like Nepal Jam.
But not fully red, just red veins.
The leaves are light green.
I had to direct the growth by pinching and bending (manifold and lst) so that it wouldn't grow too high because of the neighbors.
I saw a photo where Nepal Annapurna was really big, almost up to the roof of the house ;-) beautiful flower.
She worked wonderfully on stress, had no problems at all
and continued to grow very quickly.
I kept the height at 2.4m in a 25 liter pot.
I harvested at 12 weeks of flowering due to rain and low temperatures of 5-8ºC.
When harvesting I check the trichomes and I’m looking at mostly milky and you can just start to see some of them get the beginning hint of them turning to amber.
The inclement weather and rain were no problem, she coped with everything perfectly, there was no problem with growth and flowering at low temperatures.
Excellent resistance against botrytis fungi, rain, wind, cold and strong thermal contrasts 5-38ºC.
In bloom, a wonderful scent of mountain aromatic herbs, hashish, incense. Really intense strong scent of strawberry, lemon, watermelon and with hints of eucalyptus and mint and bubble gum. Almost like multivitamin juice ;-)
I pollinated this flower with a cross of Nepal Jam x Gelato for next year.
(Yes, I know gelato is almost ashamed of it but I wanted to try if the scent and taste and effect of Nepal Jam will be even better ;-) )
From two smaller branches, only half pollinated, I have around 100-150 seeds.. Really very good seed yield.
After drying and then curing in a glass the scent is more aromatic but still strawberry, lemon, watermelon and mint and bubble gum but with increasing intensity it gets hashish and incense.
It reminds me of the smell of good old Nepali plastic hashish but with a subtle added scent of strawberries, mint and watermelon.
I'll wait for the smoke report from my friends.
I'll write a smoke report when I have some ;-)
Really just like your new Himalaya Snow strain ;-)

Welcome to ICMag @kartac :tiphat: makes me feel very happy to read your postive feedback on the R+D Nepal Mist x Annapurna, glad you liked it and found it similar to the just released Himilaya Snow strain description, since this release contains our favorite crosses between Annapurna and Nepal Mist, and the R+D Nepalese cross you tried is one of them ;)

Hello Dubi, I want to thank you for your great work that you have been doing for many years.
I sincerely appreciate it.
It is a real pleasure to grow your varieties.
I only smoked charas in the 90's and it was the best too so I agree.
That's why I grew this cross to remember the good old days ;-)
This strain really has enough resin to make charas or dry sift by hand.
The one I'm sending is from Green Mountain Grape when harvesting seeds from half of one bud ;-)
