Very true. Boone as well used to be a big hub for great strains, great genetics in the mountains. As of lately though I have noticed a recent rise in the quality and quanity that have been coming out of the Asheville area. Keep up the good work mountain men.

yeah the NC mtns have been gettin better and better over the past few years. been grown bag seeds from there for a couple years, and they seem to be cold hardy. have had them sprout up threw snow. ohh and the long grow season we NC people can do sats outside too.

I don't live in NC right now, but i was born in Reidsville, NC...good ol' Rockingham County to be precise. I got family in Knightdale,NC, Stoneville NC, Reidsville NC, Greenville NC,(G-Vegas baby), Mebane,NC and have vacationed numerous times at the beach in Emerald Isle,NC. There's just something about a southern beach that totally puts a westcoast beach to shame...the pure white sand and warm ass water. Sadly, i've not been able to go visit the homeland for some 3-4 years now...although i get to visit in September so i'm really looking forward to that. Bojangles and WaffleHouse WATCH OUT... ahaha

i'm serioulsy going to shit bricks if there are no Waffle Houses' in NC when i go in september! It's a staple. I'd always go to the one in Chapel Hill when staying at the Double Tree Hotel. Haha i remember this one time i bought a gallon jug of sweet tea at Bojangel's held on to it for around 2 days, then flew back to Cali with it and it tasted down-right disgusting! I don't know whether it had something to do with the air pressure or what, but i was disapointed to say the least...

Re-igniting this thread! From the NC myself! I just moved here and already love it. I will definitely be prepping for some Guerrilla action in these here mountains next spring it is prime location. I have yet to meet any hook ups here but im fine going sober between harvests :0

Where my carolina folks at though? Bumpin this thread up for my nc growers (and my southeast brethren). I'm in the triad area. I definitely wouldn't mind swapping, mixing, matching and smoking with my tarheel homeboys. It'll have to wait until around mid-december but when the time comes I should have plenty to go around for trades and what have you... or maybe just a nice little smoke session with you fellas. Holla at cha boy .... pm me if necessary... we gotta stick together in these hard times and keep these genetics alive and well. My breeding projects will start as soon as I snip some clones off my plants in a few months.

Poppin' in to say hello to fellow NC growers. I just moved into the area not too long ago and also recently got into the grow game. I must say, I dont know any hook ups since I moved into the area but am slowly discovering the underground culture that thrives in this area, especially asheville.
