This first picture is of the sunsetting over Texas, somewhere around Enchanted Rock. We were out on a nice little cruise after a long, hard day of walking around smoking joints on our camping trip to Enchanted Rock State Park.

The next 4 photos are of Gorman Falls, in Colorado Bend State Park, Texas. It was a beautiful water fall, flowing through travertine (which is rare) so you are not allowed to be there by yourself. A park ranger takes you on a guide down to the area, which explains why there is no smoke in these pictues, hahaha.

This is my Ovation guitar, it isn't nature, but it is damn pretty. 1612-4 Balladeer (discontinued)

Thanks. It's tough right now, the snow having melted only recently...nothing has really grown yet as it still gets below freezing during the night..so taking pictures becomes a little harder/more boring, but it makes you look harder for the little things you sometimes dont see, too, i guess

weirdly, a lot of exposed moss in the forests is allll brittle and dry. But then some is completely submerged in puddles.

Not much is growing but the perennials that stick around like moss and some fungi are still there to take pictures of. It's cool how moss can spring back to life from a dry and brittle state or from being frozen.

saw a couple deer, too, and a nice 2" patch of SKIN that was ripped off of a deer with a big tuft of fur on it. didnt take a picture but it was cool, lots of fur on the ground, as if the deer got attacked by something. no body though

those flowers make me feel like i have frozen in time for some reason, there's so much 3d-ness, and depth, you can really feel the space, i dont know how else to explain it, cool

Here's a "Bristlecone Pine"...these trees are the oldest living things on earth...and they look badass too. The thrive at very high altitude above timberline and are constantly fighting the elements with no protection...thats why they look so wicked. They survive EVERYTHING from forest fires to lightning....and usually very high winds.

...just wanted to add that some of these trees are over 5000 years old, and some standing dead are over 10,000 years
