I did put activated carbon inside carbon filter. First I glued screen on place.

Then I placed activated carbon inside it and placed another screens on top of it. Metal screen is just enough big to ceep activated carbon inside.

Started light proofing the case. I forgot to make hole for extension cord. There is not removabable blug in extension cord so I need to cut the cord and buy new plug after I have made hole for cord.

I added poll to this thread as I cannot choose which ones I should grow, fems or regs.
If I run regular strains I will make seeds out of best plants specialy from Power dust. I will run Malawi which ever strains I choose to run. I have only 2 seeds of it.
Here is list of seeds I am thinking about I will runing. Behind each name there is number of seeds I will run each strain.

Regular:
Malawi 2
Walkabout 4
Power dust (Power plant x Angel dust) 10
Sky lotus (skywalker og x snow lotus) 8
White lotus (the white x snow lotus) 8

Fems:
Super silver haze 3
Jack herer 1
Somango 1
C99 2
Amnesia haze 3
Bubblegummer 3
Malawi(reg) 2

I am not going to run autoflower yet. I want to find keeper or two and grow them few times in 1 gallon fabric pots.

I did cut the last louver parts, paint them black and installed louver that I made earlier. Also I printed part to cover small hole in front of case, paint it black and installed it.
Dont have pics as cameras battery is recharging.
Tomorrow I will finish the case as far as I can without plug for extension cord and fan.
If I am not feeling lazy I will go and buy the plug and wallmount for extension cord. These will be 11,97€.
The fans will be here 20.-30. of this month. When they arrive it is germination time. :yay:

I would run feminized seeds since you have no mom's or clones. That way you can start to flower sooner and start the regs once you have the second box setup. Of course with auto flowering varieties you can get a first crop in while growing out the regs...

I am going to fill both cases with either regs or fems. I will grow many plants of same strain and choose best ones to keep.
When I finnish my mother cab I think I will germinate some autoflower seeds to test it out.

run the fems, you wont be seeding your crops in a pc so pick females
I will seed at some point. I want to breed a strain that grows well in micro boxes.

I pretty much finished the case. I need to change the fan when it arrives and get new plug.
Fan that is now installed is not power enough to cool the case. It came with the case.

Things to do:

Buy:
-timers

Smoked some weed and had no better things to do so started to print one of the piece of the mother box.

I am printing on kapton tape @ 60C and hot end is @ 220C.
There was some problems with fillament not sticking to build platform but now with kapton tape ther is no such problem.
I think extruder is extruding too much fillament at that is why first layers look nasty.

I see you're making great progress. Going to have to play with 3D Printing one day. I currently make things on a CNC Router, CNC Plasma Table, CNC Mill and a CNC Lathe. Love your work.

Wow that is so cool. What kind of things you have made?
Thanks.

Here is finished piece.

Tried to print one part for mother box and next computer case but prints failed because of nasty first layer that caused nozzle to get stuck on part and layers to sift.
I will do some extruder calibration so I can get smooth first layer.
I made my mind and will go shopping today. I will buy blug and extension cord wall mount. Then I will instal those and cab will be ready as far as I can build it without fan.
I am going to get new case today. It is going to be Antec 300 as my first one. It comes with 3 fans. I hope they are powerful enough to pull trough the filter. If they are, I am going to use them until I get my Noctua fans.
I will try and build it in one week as I have all the parts except printed parts and few light because 3 of lights was faulty. I realised this after I had removed dome from them so there is no warranty.

This is extruder steps per unit @ 80

If you are wondering wtf is steps per unit. It is how many steps stepper motor makes for every 1cm of fillament it feeds.

Looks like you're dialing it in. Pretty cool man!
Thank you
What happens when you go too far ? Does it turn into a blob or something ?
If you mean steps per units being too big then yes it can turn into blob.

Did the shopping trip.

Extension cord wall mount 4,99€
Blug 2x 6,98€
timer 4,99€
total: 16.95€

Money spent: 358,51€

For some reason I tought that I needed two of those blugs. In reality I needed only one.

Here is pic of the case up and running. Old fan still installed.

The new case arrived. I am now testing its fan with carbon filter.

Edit. Fan is too weak it does not pull enough air trough. Temps rise to over 40C with 60w.

You can always get higher rpm fan and use some regulators to tame it down.
Its good to have some reserve in performance when needed for hot summer etc.
I am using SCYTHE KQ01-BK-3.5 Kaze and its working good so far it regulates both carbon filters inside case so using 2 out of 4 ports available its also good to have some ports open in case of failure I would just switch it into another port etc.
just a tip.

it will be a challenge to cool that case dont want to rain on your parade but If I were you I would consider to go with the biggest pc case I could find out there..

but you can always use just 2-3 leds on instead of 6 so it might work I guess..

peace.

I haver ordered 2 Noctua NF-F12 IndustrialPPC 2000 IP67 PWM 120mm fan and I hope they powerful enough. They should be here in 9 days. If it is not. I will unscrew litle bit screws that hold activated carbon in place to make it more loose.

Here is aftermath of that test. lol

Temperature rise so much that the plastic got soft enough to bend.

I remade light holder out of wood.

Now I am testing temperature without carbon filter.
Edit. After 15min temperature have not risen at all. It is 20.0C. Fan is @ 6V. I will unscrew little bit bolts in carbon filter and test with that.
Edit 2. I just realised that I was reading min temperature reading. lol
Edit 3. Teperature stays @ 28.7C when fan is @9V without carbon filter.
