Printed last screen.

Started printing part to cover this hole but it failed because part is 3mm too wide for my printer. Will try again tomorrow

You could print them as four interlocking parts. Like break it into quarters: [+]

You're doing an amazing build. I can't wait to see how meticulously you grow.

Did not think about that. Good idea but I made part 4mm smaller in one dimension and now it is printing fine. If I had little bit smaller printer I would do it in four parts.
I have been thinking about making fully 3d printable case out of interlocking parts but have not started designing it yet. I think I make it for mother plants if I ever make one. Dimensions would be something like 20cm x 20cm x 40cm. There would be enough space for 4 mother plants in 0,5 litre containers.

Here is picture of part I am printing at this moment.

As you can see there is some blobs on right side. I think this is because build platform is little bit too high on that side.

My deadline for case number 1 is 24th of this month so you will soon see growing action.

This is what second layer looks like. I think this print will go just fine.

I will lower far left corner little bit after the print is ready and maybe front left also.

3rd layer. Gettting smoother.

6th layer going in. If you look closely you can see that layer got out of wack because of bumbs. Fixed it by stopping print, homig x and y axis and then continuing print.

6th layer finished, 2 to go.

I was cheking for light proofnes of my 3d printed parts and noticed something I dont like. One of parts is letting light trough it.
This is my Iphone flaslight pressed against the part from other side. I will print this again. This piece is one failed print that I stopped after maybe 3 layers.

Part is done now. Here is what it looks like when it is in place.

Next I will print last piece to make case light proof.

Had to redesign light holder. For some reason I made it too small.

Now we are printing.

I think that I will run sog in 8x 0,5l yogurt cups instead of two plants in fabric pots. I will use fabric pots after I have found keeper or two.
Strains that I will run are:
Super silver haze
Amnesia haze
C99
Jack herer
Somango
Bubblegummer
Malawi

That 3D printer is earning its keep on this job
It sure is. I have owned this printer for few years and finaly I get to use it.

Light holder 100% ready and installed.

I am not fully pleased how it turned out. It is bit flimsy. I will redesign it and print a new one at some point.

I designed almost all of the mother box. I am missing only a door.

In first picture you can see how they will be connected together.
I will lock them in place with m4 threaded rod.
On the second picture you can see piece with hole for fan and smaller piece which will make box 10cm taller.
Total dimensions will be 30x30x40(WxDxH). Will probably but 48w(4x 12w) of screw-in leds in there. Air intake will be in doors.

Well, now I have a door. It did not take long to make this.

I need 4 of bigger ones plus 2 of those smaller pieces.
