It's my first time taking The One to harvest. She does look good though.

Are you sure Old Goblin is female? She is stretchy for a female. I've got 4 Old Goblins in 4" pots myself.

I've been collecting pollen for a few weeks now. I'm missing a lot but I'm also getting a lot. I've got a week or two left with these boys.

The Boys

If you look you can see all the pollen that has been dropped. I probably have close to that amount saved in the refrigerator. Here's a closer look at each.

You can see the sativa in these males. I've got some clones of them so I'll keep them going for a while.

You do realize you can pollenate about 20 acres of weed with all that pollen.

Best to keep your males tiny.
A 1' male can make 1,000's of seed.
Space is precious, pollen is prolific.

I'm curious of your results.

I have these in the little house so they are separated from the cellar. These were going to someone but they got too big and I just decided to flower them out.

In the future I'll have smaller boys. I've got lots of pollen at the moment.

Nothing wrong with lots of pollen. Get some of those small plastic containers for the purpose, or the ones for holding coins/spices/etc and freeze it in small batches.

That's what I'm doing. I've got Blue Orca and The One that are just hitting 3 weeks after flipping to 11/13. So I'll be hitting them soon. I've got more females coming up in the next couple of months. I've also got clones of both of those males. So I got lots to work with.

The males I've got has as one of its parents the best Thai stick my old grow buddy had smoked. The males definitely are showing Thai characteristics.

BO and TO being sisters have Thai stick as one of their parents. To me this is a toss up whether to reverse BO/TO or go with Eminem/MTV. So I'm going to hit both BO/TO with Eminem and MTV. That should give me seeds that will show a lot of Thai genes.

I'll work to the Blueberry cultivar too. With some luck I will stabilize a nice sativa plant that is similar to the Thai stick.

Anyway, those are my thoughts.

I use to toss my trimmings but making hash is so wonderful. I got my first 2 years of smoking was in Europe. All they had was hash back in those days. I loved that Afghani hash and this IWE hash is very similar.

I'm not a big sports fan but I think I'll watch the Seahawks next weekend and maybe two weeks after that. The last football I watched was the super bowl. I only watched the first half because the Seahawks obviously was the better team and I had things to do.

I haven't seen the furry freak brothers in many years but I do remember that quote. It's all so true.

We're on the same page. I have too much to do to be a sports fan. Back in my stoner days though I watched a lot of sports due to my couch locked condition.

Very close to my reason for giving up watching much TV or listen to the radio. There are just too many commercials. The cable channels are even worse. It takes much of the enjoyment out of it.

Honestly I don't watch hardly any sports except occasionally soccer (football) and american football when my team (Colts) is playing. playoff time is hit or miss with me and I'll watch the superbowl usually.

I know what you mean though. I stopped reading or watching the news for about a year because I got so fed up with the current state of the "news." Anymore "news" to me means it is bad or it is agenda driven - I can live well without either one of those.

I have found that the internet is a better source of information than the news channels or the major networks. I've even gotten a little disillusioned with the programming on PBS.

I found that I need to read information from multiple sources out there on the internet in order to get a better understanding of the information.

Of course, 68 laps around the sun has given me a good amount of background or context for what I read. I'm a lover of the information superhighway.
