I've been busy this morning. I've transplanted and moved girls around and flipped The One and Blue Orca. I showed a picture of The One yesterday and thought I would document what Blue Orca looked like at the flip.

Damn. I debated on popping gq or gqs..went with the gq...looks like I chose wrong....lol

I don't think you're wrong to pop either of those. GQ mother is a great plant with the most pleasant grape smell/taste.

The colouring on that 3M looks amazing :)

3M is a plant I breed. The male came from some old frozen seeds I had that were about 40 years old. Those seeds were breed by my old grow buddy and were some 70's Thai stick crossed with something out of Mendocino county. There must be some 'special' genes in that male because the female is just your typical green girl.

Here's the children...

The GQ on the left is beefing up much faster than the one on the right.

And the soil awaiting the first female....

They look like baby marijuana plants. :woohoo:

If I can make a suggestion that I use when sprouting seeds. I fill the pot/cup half full of dirt and when the seed pops and does that stretch spurt I fill in around it to the top of the cup. You don't have to do that but I found it works better that way for me. They always seem to stretch a couple of inches when they pop out of the soil.

And that's what I usually do, but i mustve made a bunk cloning/seedling mix or something because all the younglings started to lose vigor and die. Just did an emergency transplant a couple days ago to try and save them all. Tp'ing 2" to 2" or 4" to 4" pots is risky business. They seem to have responded well to the new mix.

I hear ya though, they are going to stretch quite a bit. I will have to transplant them into the .5 gals earlier than I usually would.

Hiya Pakalolo,

Wanted to drop in and say hello and admire your ladies! love your pics of the IWE hash, i've not tried that yet but I have been making QWISO and putting it on flower in a pipe. Can't say I'm a big fan of the taste always but it definitely cuts down on the amount of material i have to smoke.

Take care my friend.

I've stopped by your journal a few times but nothing is happening. I figure you've gone into stealth mode with that space you built out. Hope all is well with the family and your herb.

Yeah I've been a bit quiet lately, work has kept me busy. I'm keeping up with my favorite threads on ICMAG but that is about it.

I laid up quite a bit from the first run so I really don't have need for any more for quite a while. I could easily go to next summer on what the 2 month sweet seeds grow netted. My intake is down at the same time. Perhaps I'll get the itch later in the winter but for the time being I'm content to live vicariously thru efforts like yours!

I'll probably post some pics in my grow thread soon just to finish it off.

take care my friend.

It's always good to be sitting on a reserve of the herb.

Plant name and # if applicable. Harvest date. If it was outdoor the pot or location note...or indoor- soil differential or other experiment.

Usually after testing/tasting all phenos are mixed up. And the keeper kept
Lots of jars.

Like the Chemdawg and chocolope tags sitting in the foreground of your stash. Want to bring chem back to my line up.

Very perceptive of you spotting my old labels on the shelf. I just put them down there when I've emptied the jars. I use a spreadsheet (computer geek I am) to track on the details and the journal to document my grows pictorially.

I'm not bringing back Chemdawg or Chocolope to my cellar. Those are okay cultivators in my book but not as good as what I'm currently growing.

I've got some of the best cultivators I've ever grown in my cellar at the moment. It's is going to be hard to find something to replace them with. Right now Mildred is the only one that I would considering replacing if I had to. She is the last of the dispensary clones. I don't know much about what's gone on in the last 20 years in the growing world but I don't have a high regard for most of those designer cultivators I got from the dispensaries.

I would be right there with ya on the labeler, Pak. We had a nice labeler at work that we stopped using and went up for grabs. Someone got to it before I could. Was priced over $100….though i wouldnt mind forking out $30 on a decent one.

Heya pakalolo :) I just realized that I never did my acct confirmation LOL so I've had this acct for several months now but this is my first post

Until you get 50 posts under your belt you're pretty much limited to reading posts and posting but you won't be able to edit. So read them over before you click that submit button.

Glad to see you over here.

I use MS Excel to print out the labels. Then I take my scissors and cut them along the lines.

Here are a couple of pictures I took today. I gave all my plants a tea made of malted barley and kelp. These 2 ladies are really enjoying it.

I couldn't be more pleased at how this ladies are turning out. I think these are the best job I've done so far.

Think so too Pak.

I have a Nocturnal that looks alot like the One.

It's from a seed off of my last purple/noc.
