hey marly nice garden there in this pic i clearly see a femal preflower

notice where the large fan leaf stem meets them main stem of plant, ok here your'll notice where the new growth branch is emerging from the nook created by the fan stem and main stem. ok on the front side just below are 2 single soft thorns {stupula}spell check lol ok just above on the right you'll see a very small pear shape whit 2 white hairs protruding ya have a girl congrats.

now a male has the shape of a small hairy basket ball design lol, when this preflower matures a stick will grow for more hairy balls to gather lol thats a boy.

honestly the other pics are just to dark for me to tell the 1st looks pos a girl i got a 10x power inspection eye peice from my local rock and mineral shop cheap works great for preflower inspection. personally i allow the plant to properly mature then show sex and begin 12/12 stage but thats just me again nice lookn garden buddy

pimp, i figured that was a female too, didn't wanna jump to any conclusions, i saw that micro white hair.

as for males, i really cant tell anything yet. those ones that are female were the ones that first got into light so had a extra day or so of light, so im hoping by the weekend ill know the sex of them all.

how much time do i have to remove males from the crowd b4 i get hermies and such?

ill have more pics later on this week too. i did take a picture of every plant, but of course they didn't come out, they were all blurred

males approx 10-14 days after 1st ball is seen during the stage thier in now, 1 of only 2 male's ive had i allowed to grow out pop pollen just to see the time it took for this to happen. what i seen happen is what i read on OG when it was up

great, thats reasuring, i was thinking i would have to check every hour and remove males right away. thats good to know i can just leave em alone for another 2 days and check on wensday.

i gave them the first watering of 2tsp Tiger Bloom, and 2 Tsp Big Bloom(i think thats the name). Seem to take it fine.

i gave them the first watering of 2tsp Tiger Bloom WoW 2tsp of tiger bloom is alot for a 1st feeding the feeding chart suggests a higher dossage then most ppl here start off

when i use to use FFTB i would introduce 1/4tsp pergal water 1st wk of feeding i alternate feedings. 2nd wk i would try 1/2tsp per gal water, 1 plain PH'd water the next ferts added then PH'd. each wk i bump the dossage up when i exceed 1/2tsp i watch my plants closely, if they react bad to it i back it off to the previous dossage. i'll bet your waters PH was very low, when i used FFTB i noticed it drops the waters PH my water starts off 7.4-7.5 outta the filter's tap 1/4tsp FFTB would drop the PH to 7.1-7.2. i could just imagine what 2tsp would dowatch them closely FFTB can burn them plants at higher dossages.

when i used FFGB n FFTB i ran a test wil each nute in a gal of plain water i tested the waters PH before nutes added then after nutes added. when i 1st got my PH meter lol the only 2 FF products i use now are FFOF soil and big bloom. i had some bad FFTB and i dont take anymore chances i'm mainly 97-98% organic now

Okay so 2 lemon stinky and 1 godberry are female.

The others i still cant determine sex.

If you look at the pictures tehy all have this tulip shaped thing whre the stems connect. Someone told me those could be female. Are they?

The last picture has them too but are much bigger, which im thinking is a male?

And how the hell do you guys get good pictures of tehse. I'm using a older 3.2 mega pixel camera with 3x zoom. I take hte pictures with macro but they all get blury.

Its hard to say from those pics dude but dont worry. The strain ive got know showed right away but the last ones took like 2 weeks before I could confirm sex. Sometimes it takes a little while longer, im not super experienced or nothing but with that much undergrowth most of your plants look female to me anyway. A few more days will tell the tale. Im hopin for ya that they are all females, but if you get some males you might want to think about a little cross breeding with some lower chutes. Just a thought?

5 female, 2-3 seem to be male, the rest still cant decide. I'm not even sure if the 2-3 are male, they have tehse tulip things forming like the females did with no pistolla.

Its okay if i give em another few days b4 i pull them correct? No worry of the male pollen giving way?

Hey looks good man. The first real grow i did i thought i had like 6 out of 8 females. Then it turns out i had 8/8 males lol. Take it easy bro.

Just wanted to drop in and say high! Looks good in here, i have one lemon stinky about 3 ish weeks in flower. They seem to be vigorous ladies and i am seeing sum impressive frost ! I wish you the best with yours. I know its kinder exciting/scary when pre flowers show, but the best advice i can give you is to chill and smoke some. They will show i time and know i think its pretty much impossible for a male to release pollen before you know its a male.

1 male is cut and in the garbage.




I believe their is another 1 or 2 that are male, but i dont wanna guess at it right now.

6 females have a few sets of white hairs now.

And i still have 2-3 that are undetermined sex right now. Not sure whats the deal with that? Any input on why taking so long??

so it seems to be final count, 7 females, 4 males(1 already taken out).

which is actually what i wanted, if there were any more females i probably would maximize the light/space cause they would all be close together, this will give me a few inches between each plant.

gave the plants last nite a watering of just straight water no nutrients, had a little yellowing so im backing off, gonna start over with less Tiger Bloom, and more Big Bloom.

another thing is these fruit flys are back again. im gonna get more sticky traps 2morroww, seems to only be about under a dozen flys, dunno what else to do.

Spray your plants down with Neem oil that will kill any bugs! Ask Maj about it he had a bug prob in the beginning

honestly from local hardware staore in the bug bomb dept, you'll find hotshot no pest pest strip works keep it in 2-3 wks all the bugs from spydermites to soil gnats will be dead.
