Here is flower day 39

Grape Venom - she is a beast, I am very curious about this on. The smell is subtle sweet and fruity so far.

Apple Fritter- started to show some smell. Pure gas, bit sour.
full

Lemon Zkittle- the name sets expectations and I don't know if she is going to make it. Nothing special so far.

Both Lemon Zkittle and Grape Venom are MannyT Cuts from AT.

After 10 days of veg they get flipped. The GG4 had 13 days and the first tank with 1.65 Ec was not enough. I had to make a new one with 1.75 and she responded right away. She is a piece of work..
I had a little Cansas City Shuffle but it's all sorted out now.

I think I will keep that one around for now. Quick and terpy and frosty and yield is ok.

Mango

I like it.

...In a dream world I would now hunt for a male from the Mango. Then make some fem pollen from Gelato 33 and RS11 and Sugar Punch.

The male would be a cross to save the Sugar Punch for ever in seed form and bring in some new gene that are very similar to the existing terps, hopefully not altering but making better.

The fem crosses would be all around the Sugar Punch. SP x G33 and G33 x SP. Every combiantion.

After that selctions by the hundreds. See every single seed popping and bloomig and choose the craziest keepers.

People talk about how they are looking for good candy/gas. This is the one. I can feel it in my bones.
Some day..

Growing is just pure fun at the moment.
The GG4 shows it really nice. Step by step I am tuning in. She is at EC 1.75 now, and it's just scratching the lower end imho. Even just putting the light a bit higher and give her room to breathe, you see her more and more improving. Next to her the complete opposite, Apple Fritter, has to have the light right on top otherwise it will make long internodes.

Both Sugar Punch and Chocolate Cheese seem also to need higher EC now in winter, when temps and all are best and most stable.

All stems look nice and soft and green, especially the GG4, other have still red arm pits and the AF is on diet on purpose so she don't go through the roof.

So I have been testing THC levels this year. Unfortunately no test for terpenes possible yet. I am very positively surprised that my cuts from 10 years ago, as well as eg. Core Cut test so well.

Mango 23%
Core Cut 24%
Chocolate Cheese 25%
Sugar Punch 26%
Blueberry Muffin 27%

I did not expect such numbers. For the SP that was the last marker, except for terpenes. I will take that Cut to the grave. It will be my first breeding project for sure, to save her.

Every time I work on my mother plants I hear this one in the back of my head:
"Your grow is like a river, if the spring is contaminated, then the whole stream is ruined. A plentiful harvest starts with your mother plants" I don't remember who said that but he/she painted a powerful picture in my head:p

The transformation continues. Now that I have two mother tents, I sorted them into Candy/Fruit and Gas/Diesel/Fuel
I plan to have 8 nice smelling Strains and like 5-6 stinky smelling strains to keep everything in a nice balance. Now if I take clones I take from one mother from each tent and that allows me to put her in the middle the weeks before. There is no competition between mothers even if they are stacked like that.
