So my plan this year which I thought a lot about since the 3 outside last year is ... I plan on combining LST a. Scrogging and bring these 2 ladies in the garden together. They should hopefully pass each other and maintain a low orbit , whilst still poking towards the ā›….
Encouraging the tops ..
I'm calling them the "Scrogladyte's".

I shall try to keep their arms outstretched. Later they will be sandwiched between the meshing.

So the Scrogladyte's are reaching for the sun . Today day 2 of training.
IMG_20240612_161059.jpg

As seen the plants should follow this nice curve , hopefully not too much rotation in order to get the branch nodes upward.

Keep all Tethers not too tight , loosen and remove when time is right ( when it stays in the position on it's own ).
Let's see what Day 3 will have in stall for me. :coffee:

So quick update before I go to work.
Yesterday! Which would of been day 3 of training I left them alone yesterday for a bit more height. Converts into length.
I took a look today and , yeah some more length to play with .
Making today Day 4 ( 3 rd interaction tho ) .

Pics not in order . I took 1 or 2 before and a few after .
Once they pass each other , I can choose to either let them bend up or stretch them out a little more . I'm thinking of the later . Coming right back to just past the stems of eachother.
Then Crowing all tops filled by maybe the scrogg ...

Gutted.
My over zealousnes, my heavy hands. They do my nut in sometimes.
Today is one of those aforementioned times ...

Now I know the intention was to top these. However not now and not like this .
So safe to say my plans change slightly.
1 stretched out and 1 stumpy one to tether to . Form a little kind of 'h' shape .

This is where it broke šŸ˜¢ .

Update.
I didn't manage to get the grow I wanted . Having broken the head off of one of the girls quite early on . Although it was not how I perceived it to be, it is not too bad .
I'm not going to be scrogg-netting just opening up the light with a touch of loose ties .
Both the Auto's outside are in flower now .

These were taken today just after a quick re-positioning .

The process up to now has been relatively simple, they do all the work.
Some pics prior to today's tinkering ...

I've been slowly removing some bricks in order to stretch them out.
Some more pics of today's session.

Lovely stuffā€¦ nice weather returning apparently
:tiphat: thanks. That's good news, it looks like they have several more weeks left . They will be getting food today. Some shogun designed for the flowering phase I believe.
Send me a link to your grow mate as I have forgotten how to use this site and canny find what I'm looking for half the time.
I would love to see how well your green fingers are working šŸ˜Ž

I shall do thatā€¦

Just under your thread in the real gorilla forum ā€¦ I should be updating it tonight, plus Iā€™ll probably get the next round of seeds in tomorrow or Monday so thereā€™ll be another thread appearing.
Iā€™d recommend getting your hands on some gorilla haze seeds as they are fast and perform very well

Looking at yours , I'm not surprised you suggested it . I reckon if you didn't top them ... They would burst out the tent :biglaugh:

They are definitely vigorous, same with the gorilla haze (which is the parent of the lemonade)

They were so fast and good Iā€™m running them again for Xmas

The first gorilla haze was ready in 6 weeks last time šŸ‘
