So my plan this year which I thought a lot about since the 3 outside last year is ... I plan on combining LST a. Scrogging and bring these 2 ladies in the garden together. They should hopefully pass each other and maintain a low orbit , whilst still poking towards the .
Encouraging the tops ..
I'm calling them the "Scrogladyte's".
I shall try to keep their arms outstretched. Later they will be sandwiched between the meshing.
So the Scrogladyte's are reaching for the sun . Today day 2 of training.
As seen the plants should follow this nice curve , hopefully not too much rotation in order to get the branch nodes upward.
Keep all Tethers not too tight , loosen and remove when time is right ( when it stays in the position on it's own ).
Let's see what Day 3 will have in stall for me.
So quick update before I go to work.
Yesterday! Which would of been day 3 of training I left them alone yesterday for a bit more height. Converts into length.
I took a look today and , yeah some more length to play with .
Making today Day 4 ( 3 rd interaction tho ) .
Pics not in order . I took 1 or 2 before and a few after .
Once they pass each other , I can choose to either let them bend up or stretch them out a little more . I'm thinking of the later . Coming right back to just past the stems of eachother.
Then Crowing all tops filled by maybe the scrogg ...
Gutted.
My over zealousnes, my heavy hands. They do my nut in sometimes.
Today is one of those aforementioned times ...
Now I know the intention was to top these. However not now and not like this .
So safe to say my plans change slightly.
1 stretched out and 1 stumpy one to tether to . Form a little kind of 'h' shape .
