WeedWrapperMan No i didnt get any mites. Hate them bastards. Yes you shoulda got the slut and the bg. Bg is my best plant. Bud growth is amazing on this plant and with cfls. Post up some pics would love to see em. The BG smells like fruity pebbles before the cure then with the cure the smell is all pink bubblegum. Peace LL

ok I i understand your vetnilation setup now, its just two 2'' holes on opposite sides of the bottom tub with pvc lighttraps and the 1 pc fan with a pvc T lighttrap exhausting air from the lights. correct? K.I.S.S

Hey lifeless, i am new to IC as well as indoor growing. I have had much success outdoors, but now It's winter, so i figured i would give indoors a shot. I have a small veg box going now with CFL's, but i am definitely going to make a rubbermaid setup like yours. If i missed it i'm sorry, but how do you implement the carbon scrubber? I recollect you saying you made one yourself, but i havent seen the pictures for it. Smell shouldn't be an issue until flowering, but i just want to do it all at once to be sure. Thanks for the help.

Wow amazing thread.Youve inspired me.I had a huge set up that got shut down by leo and if and when I do it again itll need to be small and super stealth man thats the ticket right there you could hide that under a pile of laundry in the corner meanwhile theyd be checkin the basement and the attic and come up wid nada,And all with prolly 100 bucks worth of stuff from home grow depot.Dude you rule.Nice grow.Really Ive seen alot of nuggs/plants but never anything like that from 4 42 watt cfls you got it dialed for sure.Thanxx for the inspiration and the awesome growshow.Keep it simple and stay safe thats the ticket!!!Peace mon!!!

gromer much thnx. Sorry to hear about LEO. I just had doors put in my house this week and did just that. Stuffed 3 blooming boxes in the corner with stuff piled ontop and noone thought a thing. Now everything is back to normal. What ever normal is. The price of a box is between 80-100 bucks. That includes lights. Space issuse keep me limited right now so the boxes workout great. Easy to move in a hurry to. Thnx again and stay safe. Peace LL

thankyou lifeless! this thread has inspired me to make my own tub, I used pretty much the same design as yours but went with 2 80mm exhuast fans,few more passive intakes and 8x26watts, I just finished it and temps are running 80-82ish inbox, in the closet temps are around 78-80 so things are working well.
I only put 3 layers of flat white paint on and damn my box really glows bright.
how many layers did you paint on and does yours glow?

FlyinHawaiian sounds like yer temps are just right. With my 1st 2 boxes i went with the blue rubbermaids and they do glow. Even with a ton of paint on them. Next box you do go with the black rubbermaid. Even with no paint there is no glow. I have a bathroom vent fan installed in my bedroom closet exausting outside so theres no smell in the house. Be sure to let me know how things go for ya.

gromer been growing in the boxes sence i started about 5-6 years ago. No fans in the box itself but its in the plans. Exhaust fans run 24/7 the last 3 weeks of bloom to keep any mold issue in check. I have 1 comp fan for exhaust and 2 passive intakes. I was using latex house paint for along time. Last box i used some krylon satin finish plastic paint that worked out great. Was using pbp now i switched to fox farm bloom and grow big. Dont see any diff in growth or bud size. Only diff is price. Soil is Fox Farm ocean forest. The way i measure my mix is 2 gallons ffof 1 cup wormcastings 2 cups perlite 1 tsp domolite lime. Mix and repeat. I also use R/O water to water the plants seems to help with any ph probs. Before i started using R/O water i allways ran into ph probs with nutes getting locked out. Leaves dead before there time and when that happened yeilds went down. R/O water fixed the probs for me. Its a great feeling to be able to give back to this great community that helps me out daily. Peace LL

Thanxx mang wow yer creating the perfect enviroment with one little computer fan them things must be way more powerful than I thought.Those come from like an electronics store right?Everything else is available from Home Depot,correct?I wanna get the goods while i got the loot even though itll be forever for I can set up but then once I can Ill have all I need.Also do you think I could pull this off keeping the tubs in a very ,very cold space as long as I insulated them in some way and maybe used a small heater to warm the macro enviroment?Maybe a heat pad under the whole thing?What do you think?Thanxx man for being so helpful!!

I was thinking of using an electric blanket to keep mine warm last winter when i thought i was gonna have to put them in the garage. Just a thought. And yes fans can be gotten at an electronics store. Home Depot has everything else. Peace LL

Hmmm an electric blanket never thought of that one but outdoor winter temps will be what Im up against so the warmer the better I spose.I wonder what the power draw on an electric blanket is like.I spose some insulating a heat mat and as long as temps stay above 60ish it would be all good.Lights out time would be the main concern as the heat from the bulbs prolly would do the trick during lights on.Maybe a little insulated corner with a small space heater on a timer.Ahh well we'll see I gots nothin but time to plan but I tell ya when the time comes yer method has me syched,Lifeless you da man!!Oh yeh them gallon or 1/2 gallon containers you got those in?They look mighty small but I guess smaller is better in this case.Also you keep one of those boxes goin with mums in it or do you just get new clones as you go?Veg em and then flower all in the same cycle in the same box?Man you must think Im a pest with all these questions.Sorry buddy just wanna figure this thing out that you have obliviously mastered.Thannnxxx!!!

i'm making another box for a friend and I went just about everywhere and couldint find any 30gal black tubs so I bought the same gray ones cuz there were only 2 left.
Is that krylon plastic paint spray paint?
Im thinking of useing some black plastic spray paint for the 1st coat and then ill buy a gallon of black paint and put about 10 coats on and then put 4 coats of the flat white, Do you think it would still glow? any better ideas? lol

gromer Blooming plants are in 2 gallon pots. And i do clone as i go because of space issues. Never had any problems as of yet.

FlyinHawaiian ya thats plastic spray paint i used. Youll have to test it out and see if it works. Let us know how it works out. Peace LL
