Hope all is well with ya these days.Your plants are looking good.I think your right about the lockout on the sick ones.Do you reckon they could be locking out on mag.or maybe iron (hence the green veins on the leaves) due to the extra cal.(lime) added to the soil? I'm sure you aready know that too much of any one of these will cause a lockout of the others,no matter how many micro.nutes you add it will still be blocked, except when foliar feeding. If that's what it is maybe foliar feed with epsom salt? Btw have ya had issuses with FF soil going acidic ? Anyhoo, jus a thought, good ta see ya up and at em MGJ.Good luck, take care...BC

Hiya BC!
Hey, thanks for stopping by to say hi! I could understand it being the soil mix if the other plants were having problems too. Too weird. So today I took the extreme treatment: I mostly bare-rooted the 2 problem plants ( left maybe a 3" diameter ball of soil at the base of the plant ) and re-planted in 2/3 FFLW + 1/3 FFOF. More complete change than another flush / soil leach. Haven't had problems with the FF going acidic, definitely not this early. It happens a little in mid-late flower if I mix in the FFLW so I add 2 tbs dolomite / gal soil for that. But not for the early vegging plants - they get transplanted often enough. No worries though, lots of plants vegging away so as long as I don't kill 'em all life is good :pointlaug .

Thanks for the suggestion, it certainly does look like the dreaded lockout!!! :chin:

Hiya KH!
Thanks man! Means a lot coming from a hashmaster like yourself! You can do it too - load up that column with one strain and have 1 or 2 buckets for tasters. I'm a bit envious of your vertical grow - that's a boata-loada bud in a small footprint:yes: I went with so many because I full on expected a 50-60% cull rate from either sex or premature death:yoinks::biglaugh:

I'm psyched on having more indica in my stash - really helps at the end of the day!
Careful with my title - I invented it like most others here. :bat: Besides, I'm not a master, just a lowly engineer. :biglaugh:

Yeah, the vertical grow is nice. It definately gives the high yield per square foot. I just need a few more runs to get it (or me) dialed in.

I hear ya on the indica. Nothing like a little nightcap to bring on the snores.

Looking good MGJ, you have yourself some mighty fine plants growing here. Looks like you have quite the crowd growing over here, your a popular cat! Keep up the good work, stay safe and stay green.

Greenjeans, you have a nice little project going on. Nice variety, but with a large group your bound to get a few nuts. Maybe they bumped their shells on something? Anyway, they should pull thru with your tender hand and the guidance of your friends. If not, kill em. The plants I mean. Not your friends but as I re-read the second line, the nuts could be taken as your friends too.

Did you write that you haven't ran your air conditioning, or was that someone else? If so, you are way up there. I must have to wrong idea about where your at. Maybe I looked up the wrong Mr. Greenjeans in the phone book.

Have you ever looked up "Wong" in the phone book? We have very few listed but lots of them must have unlisted numbers. Everytime I miss dial, I am told, "You have the Wong number!" Must be confusing when someone asks whos number they reached. "you've reach the Wong's number." then the caller says, "Okay, I dial again, this time, more carefully."

Budfather, how are those Sliver haze clones doing? since you got them from a guy growing them 5ft and still in veg, are they even female? That high veg height makes me wonder if he even knew?

Everyone else: HIGH!

Hiya HC!
Thanks very much my friend! I'm on my first seed hunt for 2-3 outstanding mothers, and lucky to be gifted these fine seeds. Lotsa good people here at icmag - having the converted shopvac vaporizer and plenty of canna-treats helps keep the crowds melted into their seats ! Thanks for stopping by, help yourself to a monster vape hit and a coupla brownies!

Hiya GPB!
Thanks - will do. Gonna take more than one of this girl for sure!

Hiya OJ!
Man - u crackin me up! Well, I'm givin 'em the good ole college try - if they're gonna straighten up and fly right they should do it now... If not - chop chop and presto extra salad trimmings!

No AC here my friend - I'm very lucky to have daytime temps most of the year between 60-80. Yeah, that electric bill is way up there without AC. I know folks in other areas running 1K flower + 400k veg + pumps + fans and pay about the same amount... At least I don't need much heat in the winter - my brothers run 1.5K buckos a month in winter heating in the great northeast!

Wing the wong number - :D Oldie but goodie!

Thanks for visiting OJ!

Hiya -VT-!
Thanks my friend. So far I have to agree with you. In the last few weeks I've found reports on a few g13xc99 or c99xg13 strains, and it looks to consistently be a win-win combination if the parents are prime. The physical structure on these is indica with beefy stems and wide leaves on all of them, the growth rate is pretty vigorous. The only difference so far is a bit in height and node spacing - from very tight to medium tight.

I knew it! That modest dude :joint:  Must be some high octane hash! :smoke:

Looks like things are starting to come along here  Way more interesting when there's more than one set of leaves ey :D

The G13xC99 does sound like a winning combo. Can't go wrong whith either strain afaik so combining them should be killer :yoinks:

I had a little surprise last night. Looks like 2 of the 5 expected skunks are actually A99s, which is a good thing cause I didn't think I'd kept cuttings and was a bit sad about it :D But the foxtailing buds are a dead giveaway :woohoo: :yummy:

Wow man, talk about positive karma!!! 2 more am99, ganja gods have given you another run! Congrats! Out of the 4 am99 females I had, each one of them would be considered a keeper. You gonna try to clone a few twigs from these two?

Yea I think it's the Ganja Gods' way of telling me that she's a keeper :biglaugh:

I'll either take cuts or reveg after harvest. Not sure depends on space at the time. Looks like I've got a bug problem or something so I'll have to give everything an overhaul anyway :badday:

-VT-, You flatter me. Besides, I've seen your pictures. It's easy to make hash, ya just stir a cold batch, filter it, an ya got hash. But yer growing skills, we all seen your pictures, I should do half as well.:respect:

The C99 was amazing. Nice and smooth, I can only imagine what it'd be like after a 6 mo cure.

:bongsmi:A good time was had by all.

Mini update:
Spent most of the week transplanting a few at a time - haven't been able to take pics yet - coming up this weekend. It's good news / bad news.

Bad news - the 2 problem powerskunks were pulled. The transplant did not help, and I decided to not fuss as there's plenty else to do. The good news is the rest of the plants - including the remaining 3 powerskunks - are doing great - some big ass fan leaves now, they're roughly a month old from first planting. Now they're all transplanted into 1 gal pots.

Also culled the purple creams - I needed a bit more space with the big fan leaves on the seedlings, and have read over and over that the potency is not all that. With the extra space the others have more room to stretch out without shading.

Can't win every battle MGJ, and you have so much more to focus on :dueling:

Having too much variety can spoil a man. Maybe the Purple Cream cull was wise :chin:
I often get excited or passionate about something and sometimes my ideas don't seem so ideal after I've tried to bite more than I can swallow :pointlaug

I gotta stop smokin this Hempstar before I post, I'm starting to sound like a damn fortune cookie :bat:

Thx men! With this many plants from seed I half expect a few surprises...

GPB - Thx - you'll probably be able to tell what's left when I post indivdual pictures this weekend, my guess is I have 2 xskunk#1 and 1 xsrh phenos left.

Hughie - Thx - my arms were yakkin me that I was at the edge of reasonable limits during transplants, so 4 less plants helps me out...

Tml - Thx - I kept looking for the one report that would tickle my interest to keep them going, but couldn't find one. It looks amazing when done, just not much power to it. "...bite more than I can swallow" man I hear ya on that one. BTW keep smokin that hempstar - there's a lot of money to be made in fortune cookies!!! :smoke:

Took a group shot so you can see what's left with a ruler standing for size.

All in 1 gal pots now, the way they're growing they'll go into 3 gal pots in 2-3 weeks tops. Most of the leaves are the size of my hand already :yoinks:

Later!
