Mr.Bills 400w DeepCongo(DeepChunk x Congo#3)

Hello again :)
I need some advice please.
As you can see from the pics the SpeedQueen has developed balls now :( hey not to worry though as I want some pollen anyway :)
What I need to know is this, the plant is now way to tall to go back in the veg room, can I simply chop it in half and continue to grow on for some pollen?
Would this be dangerous to the other cuttings in there that are from a female plant ?

Thanks in advance :)

oh most deff. The plant will probably shock because of the massive cut back but will be fine. It just won't grow for a couple days. But depending on how hard you cut it back you might want to think about cutting the roots back to match. Especially so since you don't need much pollen to get the job done. I've done it several times in my day. Big beautiful plants that turn male and I cut back so hard it almost looks like a re-veg. I'd save a bit more plant than a re-veg though. But chopping it in half it should be cool, no problem. If we were playing baseball I'd call you "safe".

:edit: As far as the second part of the question as I understand it you want to chop it in half and put it back into the veg room with other female clones until such time as you wish to flower him out. If so then the little clone females should be fine. If your talking keepin it flowering it'll pollinate everything. Basicly you need to have a isolated chamber to flower him out in or whatever is flowering will be polinated. But he should act just like a girl an geek out a little bit while switching back to a vegetative state. He may shed pollen while transfering back but as long as the clones are still vegging with minimal pistols showing they should be fine. You might end with a bean or two but it's doubtful.

I mean that's a pretty good price for the whole shebang but you want the 400 and all the little extras too? Is this for flowering out some dudes or what? Basically it all depends on what your using it for. But yeah it's a good deal.

Nope Herbalist no germ problems whatsoever, in all actuality they were just about the fastest germing seeds I've had in a while. 7 of 9 were breaking tails in 12 hrs. It was lingering in my mind as well, that's why I threw so many. I'll be weeding out the weeklings soon though as they should reach sexual maturity within a couple weeks(I already have a couple that I have my eye on to axe but we'll see). And your welcome here anytime.

I'm glad I could help Dave, when it comes to the dudes I'm a lot rougher with em. I've only killed one though, but in my defense that was because I dropped him and broke his little arms that I had left on him. It was too bad though was a beautiful male Godberry that smelled of straight berries and purpled up.

Damn Dave, I bet you are happy you let it do it's thing regardless. That looks positively stunning. Great job my friend.

That's not a bad idea T at all with the separate spot to dial in strains. Who knows maybe one day you will venture to the breeding side of things. And you'll already be set and ready to go. I'm glad I could help. ;)

Hey sleepy, always good to see ya. I wish I had the time to get around to everyone's thread. I just don't have the time right now. So many great threads and picturing constantly going on here. It sucks as is I barely have the chance to keep my thread/s updated. Blah. The winters coming up soon though so I should have a touch of free time ahead.

*Sorry no pics today*

You have every right to be Dave. Some fine looking buds sir.

The healing has begun. Too bad the transplanting hasn't. Soon, soon.

My favorite plant of the bunch. I almost hope it's a male, with the tight noding, vigorous growth, and the most potent smelling of the bunch. We shall see soon enough.

This is the most DeepChunk looking plant of the bunch.

So yeah they still look kinda shitty but it's cool, they are healing up and the new growth is going strong and healthy. Seeee!

Mr.Bill, my DC are at the same stage as yours. One of them is a little picky but the rest are ok. I went ahead and started five Red Congolese also. It is a line that Reefermen made using the Congo#3. The male used in the RC is supposed to be a stable Afghan/Mexican line. I want to see the effects of the different male lines on the Congo. Should be fun.
Oh about the Deep Congo, I have some Deep Chunk going now and the smells are very similar. I think the Deep Congo smells like Deep Chunk with a sagey smell added.

Right on Lean Green. I think we threw the beans down at about the same time on these. Reeferman has had some good strains out there so that red congolese should be quite nice.

So I still haven't transfered these girls outta there dixie cups that they been in since sprouting. Still being lazy. But I have course corrected their health and are looking good. Some have begun to put off a nice odor and look fantastic, and a couple are looking eh I.E. long gaps between nodes, and uneven and slow growth. Most likely though it's because I haven't given them the space they need to let their little roots stretch out, and was kinda wishy washy with keeping their health A+. I will be transplanting in a couple days for sure as it's come to that point that I need them to explode in size so as prepare their flowering cycle.

Here's two different plants looking almost identical. And healthy I might add, well healthier. ;)

Some real greenery going on on those plants Mr Bill :) Juuuuuuuuuicyyyyyyyyy

Here is my flowering room again, and I am pleased with everything so far. The rootgrow I introduced to the plants seems to aid the lush growth I am getting just recently.

I need a real good cookie recipe to go with this fresh canna butter :) my missus finds muffins and cakes etc a little to rich for her so have said I will find a good cookie recipe :)

ps. The Amsterdam trip went great, actually had some trainwreck :) wow what a smoke it was too.

Ya Dave I don't know why those shots came out so crazy green, they aren't that color at all. Everything on your end looks great. Got your box quite full I see. I would have to agree that it's looking quite lush in there.
-------------------------------------

I got off my lazy ass and transplanted the little ones. I can't believe I left em in them dixie cups as long as I had. I swear it's not normally like this. I was in a funk for a while but I'm putting it all behind me now. Starting with getting them outta them dixie cups and letting their little arms breathe and stretch. They are about to explode. I got 20 says they they look insanely healthy in a couple of weeks. Also they should start sexing in about a week.

Here they are still looking all shitty about to be transferred.

This is their actually color Dave. I made sure to set the settings right this time.

See, shitty looking. Not for long though. ;)

Even the roots are looking a little booboo. I bet they were happy to get outta them cups though. Root porn.

Happy in their new homes.
