Looking good dude, starting to stack the weight. U are lucky not having to deal with caterpillars, you said birds get them? . Our garden has em and it gets old and devastating having to open up buds picking them out stepping on them then cutting their shit out of it so it doesn't turn to mold/rot
Does Bacillus Thuringiensis (Bt) work on them at all? Not to be confused with BTI, that's different.
No you need the kurstaki strain of baccillus thurengesis or btk, the bti is for fungus knat larva and mosquito s

fucking goddamn acorn woodpeckers are driving me nuts, wake me up every morning at sunrise pecking on the wall outside my bedroom. It's seriously getting to me. I dont get angry very often but these motherfuckers have me seeing red.
i hung up a bunch of stuff to scare them away, and i shot a couple, but they keep coming back. today i'm goin to hang nets off the side of my house to block them from landing. if that doesnt work then i'll just start camping outside at dawn with my shotgun until i destroy every last one of them

Lol I forgot about the fucking woodpeckers! What a fucking trip. I remember hearing someone blast a shotgun at 7AM and I was certain it was you but it was your fucking neighbor doing the exact same thing 
We get woodpeckers showing up everyday when there is a beetle infested tree. They work it over for a week or two it seems then move to the next one which is usually very close by because they get infested in groups usually.
It looks like you have your share of beetle trees from some of your pics, but I'm not sure why they would like your house unless it has some beetles or something else they are after.
I get these birds that I think are y. bellied sapsuckers or at least look like them that try to roost under the eaves of the house at dusk every night and peck around a bit but they don't make any holes.

they are acorn woodpeckers, they pick up acorns from the oak trees and bore them into the outside walls of my house and garage. I've been dealing with them for 4 yrs now, but i just got the idea to hang some nets so we'll see how that works...
i dont have any beetle-infested pine trees on my property. my neighbor down the hill has a few so thats probably what you see in the pictures

Yea conception is a cold bitch. Depending on which country's rules you play by its not ok to say you thought of it while you were working for other people or to not already know to check to see what other people have done to solve the problem first.
