The NRA just blanket endorses Republicans, even ones who have very anti-gun records. It's why I quit them. Gun Owners of America is a lot more respectable IMO. The NRA-ILA, on the other hand, is pretty great. If the NRA would quit preaching and do more teaching, they might earn my membership fee again some day.
