Halo 2x acts like a 14 year old boy going through puberty. She seems to have lots of complaints. Having trouble perking mine up!

Post up a pic, and I'll guide you through it.
Probably a watering issue.

All my halos are known for fast growth and few issues.
They grow faster than my Nocturnals, which grow quickly.

Something I learned by accident with the GQ mutations.
GQ #1 had about a 33% mutation, meaning that 1/3 of the plant was ugly and other 2/3 looked normal.

When I took cuts from the seed plant, I only took cuts from the good sides.
Those cuts showed only a 10% mutation.
The next cuts were again taken from the clean sides.
Now 100% clean cuts and the plant is perfect.

Theory now is, will it work for all of them that have some mutation issues.
More experimenting in my future it seems.

I hope you photo-document each stage. Maybe get a thread going like the caldera based seed sexing thread.

One of my NOCs has a bit of a twisted leaf, she's also the runt of the litter.

My other runt has since stepped it games up, I'll try and get some pictures when they are ready for transplant. Going to run all 4 since I just got my Male tent all setup!

NOC x MOB?? I think so.....

Hey Wild
Thanks for stopping by.

I un-subbed from the caldera thread after the recent attack of HATERS that took up residence there.
Hard to educate those eager for knowledge whilst getting mobbed by doubters.
Seems even friends of friends of the haters come out to pray on those whom enjoy educating.

I know there is validity in the research we do, but to argue with haters, takes the joy out of sharing outside our own threads.

The minions that share this thread understand what we do to share easy and cheap ways to solve common misconseptions.

So as much as I'd like to share outside this thread, I'll pass.

I wonder what the idiots would say if I told em a leaf was every single color.. except green... the leaf reflects green, because it is not.

WoooHooo 50 posts.. It only seems fitting to place it here..
I stopped by the caldera thread and wow that's got some interesting action..
Just wait out the naysayers and post results as they come in...
I just received word I've got a nice bag of seeds waiting for pickup at a friends house..
Not having more then a very few seeds prior to this I couldn't test one way or the other..
While I won't select just for girls I will record the shape of the seeds planted..

SG the garden is looking great as I have come to expect from you.. BNW

A few quick pics of my '14 Winter grow. It ain't much but will serve the purpose. ;) The yield might not be much but the sweet goodness is there. Thank You SG1.:huggg:

The 1st 2 should be Nocturnals. They both smell so sweet. Just watered with some Spring water/coconut water(1/2 cup)/and buffalo tea.

3rd should be GoblinGirl. This pheno is different than than the 1st one grown. This one doesn't have the sweet smell. It's more afghany-like I'd say. :dance013:

then last is one of my own from a good bagseed. Call it GZ, short for GawdZilla. Her nugs have a hard outer shell and feel dense.
Smells more skunky, fuely. :woohoo:

fuck the haters

peace

Hey SG!

Well, I bet there are a lot more people on ICmag that are better growers now that you're hanging out here ....its great too see you're still on the interwebs dishing out expert advice ...makes the world a better place I'd say.

Anyway, I finally dragged my sorry old ass over here from GC.... since I'll be dropping some DCD'S next, figured I should be rubbing elbows with the good folks that know all about these girls.

I know you gotta be loving retirement man, I still got 8 more years to go and I'm already counting the days.

I hear you got some haters man....fuck them, who needs em.

Very nice X
They look markedly better than the last run.
There's a reason for running my Nocs first.
They were all great.

Hope they serve your needs well.
Just as you've served your fellow minions.
Good job and glad you're with us.

32? Holy crap....have you not tried out the DCD's before this?

One more question....I see there is Blackwater in this strain....I remember you telling me that outside Blackwater was the beginning of your Hermie problems....do the DCD's have tendency to Hermie? Its no big deal really...I've been dealing with hermies lately with some of my F-1 experiments...just wondering if I should be on the look-out.

Pimp Daddy Purps #1. These 2 got put into the on deck room to et ready for the flower room. They are gonna go in any day. This one here has a great structure and the smell of the foliage is fantastic.. like a sour somethin. :

Pimp Daddy Purps #2. This one has the straight up structure.. but what it lacks in branching, it makes up for in smell.. my god! The main stem has frost running up and down it. I think you hit the nail on the head saying this is where the money will be. :

Nope! I grew 2 males, fed to the worms.

Not one blade that grew DCD was disappointed, even with some hermie issues derived from the blackwater.
So, Yes, expect some nanners, along with some great smoke.

Matter of fact, it was a real hit.
So I gotta find me a gem, henceforth the 32 seed drop.
I still have the Blue city diesel and another BCD x Purps cross to help keep the line alive.

Morning Minions, it's nice to see that Iron and X are growing some fine looking Sanctuary Gardens' genetics. I like watching these genes grow. My GQ, Overlord and Halo 2X seedlings have been transplanted to gallon pots and should start taking off. I'll post updates this weekend.

Way to go Minions on the fine plants being grown. Who cares what others think? Proof of what can be done is in the results. The results look outstanding. When I stepped out to other journals I saw lots of growers going big. For over 40 years I have not been one to emphasize quantity. I always felt quality trumps quantity ever time. SG genetics are quality and you can't top that.

:peacock: They great look Iron.

PDP #2 was just stressed.
The whole line, whether The purps, or Halo will frost up the stem.
This all comes from it's heavy desire to flower.

But, I do think these will be some glorious creatures.
Mendo Purps crosses have done very well.
GDP, The Purps, Purple Erkle, Grape ape, are just some of the most recognizable lines derived from Mendo.
PDP is well over 50% pure Mendo.

I think the PDP, or at least some cuts, will rival the best of them.
We shall see.

Well said Pak.

But also know that we are also getting nice yields to boot.

I'm a bit greedy in my quest (aren't we all)
I desire everything in a strain, including ample yields.
Most focus is put on flavor, scent and stone.

Most dispensary patrons, as seen on TV, look for a catchy name first.
Then they look at the buds colors and frostiness.
The hook is set when their noses are hit with a blast of scent.
The stone of the weed makes for repeat/return patrons.

We'll be waiting for your pics :tiphat:
