I remember my 51st too Sun. Congrats. Lol. I mentioned this once before, wouldnt a more ruderillis dominant plant work for your environment? I dont have the variables you have nor have i done this. Just reading on short seasons. My boy has grown autos that has done well. Dont know if that is an option. Trust me, i am far from experienced, just read a lot ask dumb questions and process info. In oter words your explanation will teach me. :tiphat:

That looks really nice Billy. Beautiful shots Buzzed. Think I tried the Rav the other day when sea4 dropped by to help hang some lights without damaging the ceiling. Just have to give the man some good karma because his quality of work is second to none. The Rav had a nice berry flavor and smell.

I'll try and get some picture of the ladies and the brilliant idea sea had for hanging these big heavy super reflective 1K hoods. They are about 40lbs each and I couldn't have done it without his help. They have a polished reflector inside the hoods and helps keep temps low with 8" air ducts. The footprint with these reflectors is great.

fun part..... no circular saw was at hand at the moment.... everything was cut by a reciprocating saw with a dull blade

Had a visit from an old friend this weekend.
He is interested in my composters, so I figured I'd post up a link.

http://www.keter.com/products/dynamic-composter#benefits

Throw in a base of tree leaves, kitchen veggy scraps and a shovel full of worms and castings as an excellerant to composting.
Worms go crazy for all the food.
As the leaves break down, add more leaves and keep the veggy scraps coming.
After 2-3 months, you end up with a great compost/EWC mix.

Just asked about Powdery Mildew by Pak.

Only one real way to do it, sulfur burning.

Here's the burner, bought at the grow shop here in the PNW, land of PM.

Hey Pak, when you get the burner and sulfur, I'll give you detailed instructions here.

Another option is eagle 20 but not after week 2 flower. Must be in a well ventilated area and cover your mouth and nose with respirator. Also wear gloves and don't get it on your skin. It works by just spraying the leaves. After applying no PM for at least 2 months. Also noticed that any future cuttings also never got PM again. But if you use it be careful. Most don't like the product for the many reasons but the stuff is once and done.

A few pictures of the hoods and the system to suspend the lights without damaging the ceiling. Also the ballasts and the ventilation system.
Nice work Sea4.

Sulfur burn with lights off.
Set sulfur cup of burner on the element.
Use 1-2 tablespoons of sulfur.
Sulfur will melt, and then re-harden after cool.
Put a timer on the burner to come on an hr after lights off, and run for one hour.
You can use a circulation fan, but have exhaust off.
Let the smoke linger in the grow area with plants, until exhaust kicks on.

Do not use on fresh cuttings until rooted well, and never with a seedling until after first TP.

I repeat this just twice, 2 days in a row.
I've tried many spray on applications, only to have PM come back.
I don't know if I would use anything that requires a respirator, seems a bit too toxic.
Sulfur can be inhaled, though I don't recommend prolonged exposure, so let the room vent out before hanging out.

Sulfur will enter systemically and kills the mycillic roots of the PM, killing it from inside out.

Cuttings and seedlings can be treated by crushing sulfur into powder and dusting the cuttings/seedlings.
I only do this if they are infected, otherwise I wait until more mature, then burn sulfur.
But it is effective.

Thanks, I've got the burner and I'm going to treat the teenagers tonight. I'll have to get the seedlings out of there first.

Here is my over watered Goblin Queen. Transplanting it right when I realized that it was over watered saved it. I just transplanted to a little bigger pot. It is a little rough for wear but it's coming around nicely.

These last three are much better because I didn't over water them.

Eagle 20 is a sestemic and probably not good for you. It takes about 45-60 days to be out of the plant. Not recommended after week 2 of flower. I was in the same boat trying different sprays just like SG1. None worked with an active infection except eagle 20. Would always come back after 5-7 days.Only other product that helps keep it off other plants was a product called actinovate but only as a preventative. Sulfer burn is a great option but not good in flower from everything I have read. Veg is fine. Good luck PNW. Any pictures of the Powdery mildew? Mine looked like white spots on the leaves and it spreads like wild fire. They call it the herpies of plants. Only my blue dream was resistant to it and never got a spot on it even in a room that everything else had it.

The plugs in the fourth picture look amazing! I am they were install by an amazing electrician.
He is a great electrican and has some amazing tea flavored sativa. Welcome to the thread Mr sparky.

PM sucks ass,, I use 4 things for it Neem lol but if early on and pots are small enough a nice DIP works all the way to the soil wrap pot to keep loose soil out and do it again in a few days..

H2O2 @ 20% to water 2 or 3 Apps

Baking Soda and water start with 1 1/2 TBS per gal and go from there 2 or 3 Apps
