I went around and read and posted on other threads when I was first here. I basically got ignored so I quit bothering to be social. Iron has good genetics and a great room he built. I'm not surprised he won.
There is a YES link/button to the right. If you're not seeing it then it is tied to the 50 post requirement (I'm guessing).
yup.... the quality comes from the inputs.... commercial worm farms generally just use recycled newspaper and peat.... Home worm wranglers toss in veggies... kelp... alfalfa all in small amounts in isolated locations... that's what makes for quality castings... not some special worms
It'll be 2 weeks come next Monday since I sent them.

Ya been along while, had some shit go all hay wire, lots of life changes, the garden suffered while I was getting my head screwed back on right, but I really think the garden keep me from really loosing it. It was kind of odd, I really feel my plants should issues before I realized I need to make some personal adjustments, and once I was on the right path, the garden picked up as well. Now I find the solitude with my plants great therapy. During this time I think I fooked up at least one of my strains, it went from knocked you socks off, to having a buzz that lasted long enough to put your socks on. Worst part was I grew out a few before I even realized what was up. In my defense I all but stopped taking for a bit as I was in no place for anything messing with my head.
But that's the past, I changed some things in my life, back on the daily road of life and now hoping I can get that strain to herm it's self so I get some seeds.

Also I still got some Dark Lord I am running, she has tons of hairs while in veg, the cool part is, I think with a day or two in the flower space she is in full flower, doesn't seem to take much. I just watch for the herm near the end, the few who have tried it seem to enjoy it, I can't bring my self to off it yet.
Ever touch some bitch and think what did i do????? Well i gently grabbed Nickkie the noc and it was like just grease smeared on my hand almost gross but then the sniff was so euphoric its amazing, oh i have her tied up side down also

Hey Buzz, you can use any worms. I use regular earth worms and red wigglers, seems the red wigglers eat more tho. Hope that helps.
Hey major. Cool. We have several shops around here that have red wiggler worms. I have plenty of time while the bin is doing its thing. I figure bout two weeks. Im gonna check out uncle jim. Red wigglers will eat twice their weight in food daily. So weigh ur wigglers and feed accordingly.

Feed em food scraps, mainly veggies, ALWAYS organic matter. Healthy, organic food = healthy organic poop. You are what you eat. Feed your Red wigglers oyster shell powder, kelp, cardboard, coffee grinds, banana peels, soft rock phosphate, maybe some charcoal, rice hulls all on a bed of compost. If I had a full setup I'd prefer 50/50 horse manure to black leaf mold. A little bokashi bran wouldn't hurt either as it helps break down the organic matter for the worms to eat.
Hey-o! Lol I am more of a drifter, if anything. Been crazy busy working 50+ hours a week at the sandwich shop. In my off time I just read and read some more. I don't have a personal garden yet as I still am looking for a place to move...alas property taxes and living costs are skyrocketing here in CO (as I am sure you are aware). What would have been a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house for $800 3 years ago is now >$1200. Luckily for me some friends are starting an organic plot so I shall lend them my rudimentary knowledge and time and they lend me their backyard and resources.
Now that things are settling down a but on that front I figure I'd stop by....Growing forums shutting down left and right it seems I figure this will be one of my permies.
