Sg1 how do you control the heat? 1K's heat the room a good bit.

SG I could use some trouble shootin advice. something is off and cant quite get a grip but it seems I am getting an above average amount of herms poppin up. started with my nocturnal which I thought was something to do with stressin that particular plant. now I see my second gsc is starting the same crap. doing something wrong and it sucks/////////. btw the room is awesome.

go in there during lights off... check for little LED lights on fans and shit... humidifier or whatever.... tape over em...

SG - I like the new spaces and increased wattage. Until the grandkids are older I'm consigned to the cellar. You know, out of sight and all that. But in a couple of years I'll convert part of the little house into a mylar hostel for my breeding experiments. I don't need lots of buds but breeding and looking for that special girl will be fun.

C4 - I sure like seeing trichomes stretching. Not all genetics give you those tall resin buds. I hope my GQ looks as good. I guess first I need to find a girl.

I've got a Noctural (on left) and GQ out of the ground. Just have to wait a few months to find out if they are female.

Exhaust is always the key.
If you're having winter heat issues, summer is gonna suck.

Just remember: Exhaust is only as good as your intake.
Make sure you have ample fresh air intake.

Nocs still have 25% blackwater.
They do herm.
The 2 I grew had some issues.
1 hermed a bit much, the other not so bad.
Smoke value made up for it.

The longer you flower them, the more they can herm.
Don't touch them, or you'll spread pollen.

Me I see opportunity to make a few fem seeds.
All my fems are made this way.
The ole pluck and fuck.

The pros certainly otway the cons with nocturnal. What a smell. You mention pollen, i never saw anything open or anything like that. I guess lack of knowledge contaminated last run and looks like a uhoh this time. That sucks. Not shharp enough yet to catch it early. Setback is not good

Hey errbody

Been busy lately, lots of doctor appointments and also rebuilding my flower room.

I'm currently separating/dividing my flower room to increase my light wattage.

Used to be 5000wts, will be 8000wts when done.
Installing an 8 light flipbox to run 4000wts in each flower room.

Also building 18" high benches to raise pots off the floor and make it easier to maintain my plants and use the stadium method to make best use of lighting.

Here is a seedling update.
29 Nocturnal on right at 2 weeks from sprouting. (female selections)
5 Halo 2x (male selections) week 1 from sprout.

Seeds are planted directly in my base mix at 1/2" deep with just a trickle of water every 2 days.
Lost 1 seed, but I'll take 97% live rate anyday.
I'd say the seed in vibrant, eh?


Here's my veg room with all diff plants.
10 are my keepers, and 5 from my Son.
Still small, but better than no garden.

Gotta tell ya SG I have missed your updates. All is right in the world when I see an SG garden update. I just love your style man. I can tell you were in the trades and probly a drywaller just by the way you cut around the door. I can sling mud but i was a framer for a decade. The trades never really leaves us, I'm always building stuff and helping out friends and family. Is that a barn style roof I see there? Haha I was looking at a prefab shed the other day with a Gabriella roof and thought to my self this would be perfect for a grow room. Someday I will have a fun "man cave" like that. Some guys want big screens and pool tables and beer. I want what you got SG, i'll DVR the game and watch it later there's gardening to do..

Gotta tell ya SG I have missed your updates. All is right in the world when I see an SG garden update. I just love your style man. I can tell you were in the trades and probly a drywaller just by the way you cut around the door. I can sling mud but i was a framer for a decade. The trades never really leaves us, I'm always building stuff and helping out friends and family. Is that a barn style roof I see there? Not a gambrel roof, just custom angle framing.
I seen some of those prefabs before, they are perfect shape.
For the price of the prefab, I can make one 3x the size.

25 years in construction, done many things, valuable skills.
Plumbing, some electrical, wood and steel carpenter, and drywall finishing.
My best skills were as a commercial drywall finisher, smooth wall specialist all the way.

Now back to being a simple grower/farmer.
The only craft I've ever loved.

yessir... do enough tradework and you can handle pretty much anything. Interior finish carpenter myself.... rich folk's houses.... 12 step crown type of stuff... custom cabinets and built-ins... Rich women's closets are my speciality... shelving, shoeboxes... built in make up stations and the like..... (there's a customer who wants everything without knowing a thing LOL... actually had a lady bring a marble to my shelving... no fear) I've also done roofing, framing, flooring and some light hvac, plumbing and electrical work.... could basically build a house myself
