Phil: Sick plant! Is that a pit you own?
Babooey: I just harvest 3 plants under a 400HPS too....Durban Poison, Blueberry, and a bag seed.....I had the problem of them being too fluffy under the 400 as well...Im moving back up to the Chi in a few weeks...hoping to bump it up to a 600 or more...

Thanks for the welcome! I love this site and I love my new hobby, well it is more than that. I am looking very much forward to the trials and tribulations of growning. You all feel free to stop by my grow all pointers appreciated. I am a quick study and read so much I fall asleep at the computer. One thing I can say is that I have always wanted to grow and will continue to do so now. I really can't believe how much fun it is doing this and to taste some good buds that I have grown will be like heaven. you all have a good night!

I totally missed your post, PC, because I posted like 10 minutes after you. Nice looking buds, btw. You know, I've been reading that you can increase bud size by pulling fan leaves during flowering. I'm going to experiment with that; bigger buds and less trimming at harvest, what's not to like?
Whoever gets a tester of that White Domina is a lucky smoker. Your Schrom was a superb high.

ThaMag: I'd like to move up to a 600 or even a 1000w when I upgrade my setup. More power, more heat, more expensive to run, but also denser, heavier yielding buds....

:joint:defintly over 4 Oz's..this is off 1 plant and grown my way...as u can see the roots are nice and healthy..





notice the plastic thing-a-majig. it's my automatic top off watering system..when my water level goes down the thing-a-majig kicks in and adds water automatically....a perfect tool for my way of growing "The set it and forget it way" no meters and no res. changes at all period. But u gots to use Chicagoland tap water....I use the method inside and out of my swc/trons grows. the thing-a-majig is just for my swc/tron grows not for my 1K grows...Hope this helps.:moon:

Ps, told Joey bag of donuts that i will be getting a new strain called "White Domina" seedless and it should be arriving by fed ex in a week....Hope he's gots something i wants..

edit:
Babs i dont take the fan leaves off for big buds but i still do get some big budz b/c some of my fan leaves will get burned by my lites as u can see from all the brown leaves...once the leaves burn and die IMHO it promotes the budz to get bigger. Hope this helps. :tongue:

lookin good phil.. I just cant wait for this outdoor season.. going wednesday to start digging and maikng shit ready to put out the clones.. mixing the pre measured bat guano, lime, jersy sand, kelp, ect.. wish me luck!!

Looking good baba and pc.The set it and forget it looks to be doing good for you pc,Im going to try my bucket I got a few years back this winter I think.As for this summer im going out side this year,so will see how it turns out.Peace lemon

So I am going to order my seeds next friday. I thought I would ask my fellow midwesterners if there is any strain that you all would like to see or new one. After brosing seed botique for a couple of weeks I am really tore on a few strains.

give us a list of what you were thinking of getting, you would get better feedback ,,,otherwise you will get names of a lot of strains you probly can't get the seeds for,,well good luck,,, peace

ok i see you said you are getting from the boo, still if you could give a few choices,,,

Well for starters I am getting Northern lights, Which seed company has best one I don't know? I haven't deciede on the rest for sure but looking at Alskan Ice, Aurora Indica, Afganica, Blueberry and Bubblelicious. I would Like to get some sort of diesel but don't think it will go with the indica I am choosing. What Indicas do you recommend?

All of them sound good to me. I don't have any personal experience to speak from, but I've read enough that I do not doubt that if you want a diesel, you want genetics from REZDOG.

Are you using for medicinal use? If so, what symptoms do you have?

where i live there is no medical laws. I do have chronic back pain that i take vicodan for. Would love to get off of them they upset my stomach. Anyone from the show me state? Well happy growing.

So Midwest guys, what strains are floating around in the area that I should keep my eyes open for? Right now I am making room for a couple new moms and I am looking for suggestions.
edit: I just noticed someone else just posted something almost exactly the same. So here is what I have right now
1)Ohio Foq-A super hazy clone only(Will actually take your head off, but it takes about 14 weeks to finish=too long)
2)BS#9(bag seed)-really fruity Indica(think cherry sucker meets water melon kool aid) , mutant leafs(the leaves are webbed like duck foot)decent stone(9-10 weeks)
3)BS#3-Indica, Taste almost like hash, hard to burn in a joint, and the resin numbs my tongue and lips, a "I am not going to do anything" high(10 weeks)
4)BS#1-A definate cross between Sat and indica, almost like Big Bud(looks, yeild, and buzz), light citrus flavor, fox tails like an SOB(10 weeks)

And what I am looking for is something with a short flowering time(9 weeks or less), but with a good high(more of a stupor than buzz, almost anti social shit) and flavor.

Asil I also have cronic back pain.. But vidocon is like baby food to me.. I am prescribed methadone and it works well but I prefer a lower dose of done + a good indica sativa hybrids they seem to work the best without getting too sleepy.. Best of luck

Yea I don't care for the methadone. I do Like some good buds though. I got some seeds in the auction today. SuperBudz NYCD x C99WW I don't know much about them except they the NYCD is from somas. And I know I have read about c99 somewhere. Anyone care to chime in on these genetics? How long does it take to recieve from Seedbay on average? Payment went out one hour after auction ended.

:tongue: untrimmed budz of "White Domina" ...it's totally the oppisit spectrum of "Black Domina" a very potent sativa high with high yeilds I'm trying to get a cutting back and if i don't it doesnt matter i gots seeds.....:moon:



vaping and listening to the sounds of my fountain on my deck is very relaxing and tranquil... gonna definitly have a few vaping parties this year with shrooms... :tongue: :noway:
