That's one gnarly looking B+ man, never seen one that looked like that. I've been thinking for a little while about growing another batch, but I don't really trip anymore, but I've been wanting to smoke some DMT again lol (but that's an entirely different story). What other strains if any have you grown, I loved to collect spores just as much as I do seeds now. That DP shaman looks like it's got some nice color to it, one of the more intriguing purple offerings from DP.

tiny update: the 5 sd x og f2's got transplanted outta the small cups last night. in a week or 2 i will take cuts from each. so far they still look good and im hoping they bounce back from the transplant quickly!

also: popped my 5 rollercoaster beans. fingers crossed...

I would try out the PE if you can, great consistent yields with that one. Also the fruits are generally completely uniform so they dry quickly and evenly. Also nice and potent I thought I had some pics on here somewhere from my last batch, but my encrypted drive is surprisingly devoid of incriminating evidence, lol.

DS: 600+ watts of flouros, must be plenty bright in there! nice thing about flouros is you can put lights all around, on the sides and everything, so the plants get nice and bushy i imagine.

PC: i like the sound of your perpetual! a harvest every two weeks? im aiming for one every 3-4 weeks, 3 if im lucky.
i know what u mean about training ur dogs not the other way around. too many people are too indulgent of their pets, when the pets really benefit from guidance.
sounds like your ptron is the chamber for the plants that need a lot of height to grow in. im sure they fill out that cylinder very neatly.

AB: the g13xbs sounds dank. have u ever had anything with real g13 in it?

DJ: nice purple outdoor buds! those were harvested recently? did they turn purple because of the cold, or were they purple long before it got cold?
that shroom looks ridiculously big! im sure once they dry though, just like mj, they shrink and lose a lot of water weight. that still looks like it could dose 2 or 3 people.

LI: ive never shroomed before. what's the trip like? pretty good, mind-expanding? i know its a hard question to answer, but do you think that if someone likes weed, they'll like shrooms?




Was gifted a generous selection of genetics recently. Here they are: Mrs Owreck (a trainwreck cross), Black Shark (white shark f2's i believe), Who's Your Daddy? (gotta love that name; must be a mystery mix, those can yield the best stuff sometimes), Northern Lights x White Russian (my first choice to pop because it's two legendary strains), Buzziva (dont know whats in it, sounds sativa dom), Gel (also a mystery, sounds intriguing), and Mrs. Strawberry O'wreck (a strawberry cough and trainwreck cross im thinking).
I think i'll never have to buy seeds again. i could spend a lifetime sifting through the dank phenos in just this selection alone.

Yeah bubba much like ganja, mushrooms lose a ton of weight upon drying, some people complain about getting only 20% return on dry (with pot), but mushrooms are right at 90% water, so you'll end up with one tenth of the wet weight.

As far as shrooming, it's hard to say. Tripping can be very fun and recreational, it can also kick your ass. If you're the kind of person to get anxious and paranoid from a good sativa, maybe shrooms aren't for you. Often psychedelics can leave unexperienced users with a "too far, too fast" feeling, there's nothing quite like a fat dose of psychedelics when it comes on extremely intense and almost out of nowhere. Most people though, that I've met and hung out with (all like-minded people however) generally have a blast, and to many of my friends psychedelics are tools for personal exploration. You're likely to expect from a 'good dose' of mushrooms, tons of giggles, your field of vision will probably take on more color depth and things will start to look like they are breathing. You might get some anxiety, maybe a little weirded out (everyone is different), you'll probably find yourself yawning a lot also, lol.

LI: thanks for the info on shrooming. i might buy some spores some day... kind of afraid of the extra legal consequences, but what the hey, so long as im careful ill never get caught.

PC: those genetics sound... exquisite. in these beans are the phenos for: TW, the Ogre, Black Domina, Shark Shock (a shanti strain, yay!), Strawberry Cough.... The phenos to be found in these beans could set a grower for life. Thank you.
I didnt see Zindica in the pack, but im not complaining, i feel rich in dank genetics already...

DS: well, if its effects come anywhere close to its name (Rollercoaster), you may be in for a wild ride... lets hope it isn't so scary that it doesnt become fun anymore, if there is such a thing.

OS: I dont see how you guys keep track of all your moms. do you rotate new moms a lot (rarely keep a mom for more than a few months)? do you often pop a strain and then keep no mothers of that strain? ive heard that sometimes a strain gets better the second time around, something to do with genetic maturity...

Hello Mid-westerners. I have read a good majority of this thread and I must say that I'm very impressed with the info and pictures of fine herb that are contained here. I am also a resident of the mid-west. In fact, in a state that has a quite harsh penalties for cultivation of our medicine. I admire the collective of talented growers that are represented by this group.

I have made friendships that I am very proud to be apart of at other boards. I have learned from many people about the life cycle of my favorite herb. It is with all sincerity that I hope to engage in meaningful dialog and co-operation with members of this nicely established group.

I am a indoor soil farmer. I have been farming indoors for about 6 years. I have had to halt some of my grows because of my own error. But with every havest completed I have learned new lessons and take new perspective.

I love to grow a variety of herb. Some pure Indica, most are a hybrid of Sativa and Indica. Each in varying degrees. A few of my favorites right now are C99, Herijuana and Bubba O Kush.

My next rotation to be flowered is: UK Cheese, Double Strawberry Diesel, Durban Poison, SourDiesel IBL, C99, Mojo, Bubba O Heri, Reef's Supreme Hashplant, Cali O f2's. I might try to fit a few others in if they root in time.

I try to have a diverse harvest, with many different flavors and highs. I look forward to participation in this on going interaction.

PC: I like the repotting job you did; cut out the bottom of the smaller container, set it on top of the bigger container. so its technically not a repotting, but ive seen a lot of people do it. makes transplanting to bigger containers simpler, i guess?
so whats the drip rate on that? like one drop every ten seconds? do the roots expand to fill up the space when its on a drip system?
ive heard good things about k2 from nirvana, someone said they're among the best of nirvana's offerings. whats the skorean kush? didnt know they grew weed in korea...

OS: sounds like u have a lot of experience. do u find that a plant is usually more potent the second time around, or would any diff in potency be explained by the fact that you dialed her in better the second go round?

ive only been growing for a little over a year, so u've got some years on me. u must have your soil mix pretty dialed in by now. i just mixed up some mg organic topsoil, some perlite and some blood and bone meal for my seedlings and mothers. crude, but im a hydro guy and this mix is sufficient for my purposes.
sounds like you're going to run some of the more popular strains. are those all ones you've run before? do you have any faves, or are they all sufficiently different from one another that they all have a place in your 'repertoire'? which one is the best for straight up knockdown potency? im thinking the indica couchlock is more associated with potency - if it doesnt knock you out, why smoke it (that's the attitude of some stoners). i know my buds that ive let go mostly amber (trichs) seems more potent than if i harvested earlier. course, there's nothing wrong with a really knock you out indica, everything has a time and place, but sometimes you want to be useful after you get high.

see a lotta peeps using the growbags. i personally hate the shit out of them now after 2 runs. always spilling water over the sides that droop and the soil doesn't dry out as evenly. water also drains out the dried out sides too. they are cheap though...

i think the reason most run em is because theyre cheap and you can pack em in tight to each other if need be, but i dont doubt they have some PITA to them as well. i might be using some next run as well oh a good side note the sourbubs are big enough to be hit up for cuts, when im done theyre gonna look like they just got enlisted
