I think they would be good for alot of plants though.I'll been running them for awhile until I go though them all.I might keep a few around for when I veg in the homebox.

I'm glad I caught the talk about growbags, I was planning on ordering some next week when I order my fan/filter finally! I figured they'd be nice and easy, I hadn't even thought about spillage, uneven drying, etc.

I haven't been using my ghetto cab since the last time I had nothing but males, and I've been more concerned with setting up a real one. But, I think now that I'll be getting it ready very soon it's time to get a mom going in this cab so I have some clones ready for the 150. I just dropped 2 wally c99s into some hydrogen peroxide spiked water for a presoak as suggested in his thread, I'll move 'em to paper towels after a little while. I think a JLP SD x OG f2 may join them, but we'll see what happens.

I was kind of wondering how you guys manage so many strains, each with their own particular requirements? What do you do about the nutes? Make up a main batch to use and add or dilute as needed for the rest of em?

Hey coop, what about jtr pink x agent o? Seems like that one could have some potential.

i feed em all the same. i rarely have any issues and if i do it shows in all of them not just a few(have only had N go low in the first weeks). even the so called finicky trainwreck i ran with no problems other then not enough N in the 2nd week of flower.

so the pommelos and chemsg turned up male on you then?

Yeah, I culled the sorta finicky hashberry f2s a couple days earlier to make space. Then I topped the remaining hopefuls, one of the pommelos already had a sack or two, got rid of him. I noticed the balls on the other two a couple of days later, I was sort of frustrated and decided to just wait and get this 150 cab setup. I ordered the 150w and got that and the cool tube ready to go, and I plan to order the fan and carbon filter next week. I need to paint it and all that but I think once I have everything here it'll be much easier to finish it up.

PC: so whats the drip rate on that? like one drop every ten seconds? do the roots expand to fill up the space when its on a drip system?
ive heard good things about k2 from nirvana, someone said they're among the best of nirvana's offerings. whats the skorean kush? didnt know they grew weed in korea...

1 drip evry 40 to 50 seconds....i drench the plant when i leave b/c i'll never know when i get a chance to come back...it comes in handy when i'm away for days bro..i dont have to tell u how much they love to drink when in bloom... yeah, a lot of these genetics were from the OG days....Skorean is Skunk/Korean x Kush....here's some pix from last nite. Hope this helps.




Ms. O'wreck 1 & 2.....1 is short and close nodes...2 is tall and nodes are farther apart..we'll see in the future which is keeper outa these 2.

"Northern Whites" branch bent...never did like them foot long budz b/c of the lumber that's inside of them..i like growing them this way with golf ball size budz.





^^^^showed a grower this year my way of growing and he gifted me these 4 different clones which went to my 12/12 room. 1st pix plant bent over, 2nd pix 3 clones in 5 gallon bucket.

LS: nicely trimmed buds! so ur another homebox user? we've got quite a few of them on here. if i ever move, ill probably pick one up: better than cutting holes in my drywall....

OS: i see; there are no hard and fast rules in bud cultivating... sounds like you've popped many a seed in ur day. im glad to learn from more experienced growers like you...

KO: those sound like some dank crosses! im gonna try to save the males i find from now on, so i can pollen chuck and preserve some of these genetics.

AB: so all the diff strains seem to have similar nute requirements? thats good to know. ill be starting off all my tubs with the same nute strength and add nutes as needed, so if some tubs feed more than others i have flexibility...

CA: nice looking buds! i harvested a week ago and the flo buds are bagged for the cure now. already they're pretty gooooood..... took an average sized bong hit and i was euphoric for hours (but not knocked out - good daytime weed).

LI: glad to see ur cab is nearing the road to completion (with some more hard work, of course). i expect to see frosty bud shots in a couple months, maybe sooner.


DS: i expect good things from that RollerCoaster. sounds like it'll be a good hazy type high...

ive always like the foot long buds myself, my thing is more is better. but i understand your point about the golf ball sized buds: it's like they have this gooey center filled with resin.
ive heard the MTF is a legendary strain. maybe it needs to be grown outdoors in Alaska to achieve its full potential. something about the soil, or the long daylight? im sure you'll pull the best out of it though.




Just harvest another tub of flo today: this was a tub that i DIDNT overnute, so the buds are decent. This is off of 3 clones.




here's the flo buds that were overnuted, dried for a week and bagged already. they shrunk a lot and lost a lot of weight. so my yield SUCKS but im working on that: not overnuting and using 8-10 clones instead of just 3 will improve my yield a LOT.
still, as sad as this harvest is, for only being just dried these buds are nicely potent. I took one medium size bong hit earlier and ive been 'in a good mood' for hours.

there's more on the horizon: popping super star and JLP's SDOG. and future runs of nycd and thai stick: i have a thai clone ready to go (the one i tried to put in a few weeks ago died because it wasnt rooted sufficiently) and my nycd moms are big enough to take clones off of (ill wait till they bush out more, i want to take like 10 clones at once - need a min of 8-10 to fill out a tub).
with you fine folks helping me, im on my way to being a cultivator/connoiseur extraordinaire!

lookin good baba, keep it up! veggin those sdogs under daylight cfls (close proximity) and they are staying quite short and compact so far. i almost wish they would stretch more so i could take cuts faster lol. i moved the lights a lil further away to hopefully make them "search" a bit

^^^Thses 2 branches(future budz) will be over a foot long. its great to look at but after smoking the foot long bud u end up with a big ass twig(lumber).

^^^u gonna tell me u wouldn't smoke this set it & forget it, no res. change budz...this is Stawberry Cough with seeds(Strawberry O'wreck). My g/f grew this and it was her 1st. grow, my way of course. it actually came out damn good..these are my kind of budz. These 2 budz are the only budz i could get off her b/c she's so proud of what she had done and she dont want to part with it being her 1st grow and everything from start to finish.

As i sed these are the kind of budz i luv to grow not the rock hard tight budz(been there). the rock hard tight budz are only sugar coated on the outside surface of the budz. but my budz are sugar coated on the outside suface and at every nooks and crevices on/in the budz. Hope this helps.

Ps, I trashed the 4 new clones put in b/c they were not up to my high standards. upon futher inspection i saw 1 mite and thats all it took to get booted out of my "trees of green" indoor garden..

Babs, i've had mtf for bout 5 1/2 yrs. now and evrytime i've grown it its always been at it's full potential both in soil & hydro...I been tellin ppl that i only gets the clone once a year and i dont make cuttings and keeps any moms...ha ha. the next swc/tron or bucket open up which will be soon, I'll toss a mtf strain in there. Hope this helps.

after my next run ill be working on some stuff for the M.U.R.D.A. projects. one of the ideas that recently came to mind was an apollo 11 cross since rez's beans went ghost. i have a few apollo mists which is apollo 11 x kali mist that i could cross with esbes dark purple turning apollo11 x erdpurt. sound good to you guys?

baba those look like the bluemoon rock, bogbubble i grew back in og days in dwc, i went on vacation for a few weeks, nobody checked the ph or changed the res and got root rot, but they finished and the stress made them have a aroma like flowers i never smelt before, only downside was tiny buds
